    3. 3:39 no this one is very deadly. Walang cure just meds para maging comfortable.

  2. Aww hopefully she receives proper treatment for this rare condition.

Also curious, bakit kaya and dami biglang nakadevelop ng mga autoimmune diseases for the past 3 years hmm?

    1. True.

    2. If you know you know….alam mo na kung bakit. Hindi lang yan , cancer and heart attack sa mga bata pa … that’s in our future

      Delete
    3. Hindi lang naddiagnose noon or konti nagpapacheck up also wala pa masyadong social media.

    6. It is because of food and the products we are using. GMO food products and cosmetic products that have cancerous ingredients.

Avoid drinking artificial food such as milk tea, dairy food products, red meat, bread etc.

    7. yes we know. if di pa na din nila gets... i don't know what else to say

    8. I hope I’m wrong on what you’re trying to say! I will say one thing it’s definitely from preservatives/chemicals in our food .

    9. Ganyan din nangyari sakin, na develop ng rare allergy after getting the you know what. I now live a complicated life.

    10. Why blame vaccines and not the actual NOVEL disease that is spreading like wildfire globally? There are so many studies about what covid does to the body, wag nagpapaniwala sa tiktok at magbasa ng peer-reviewed medical journals pag may time.

      Delete

      Delete
    12. Because those diseases used to go undiagnosed. Now thanks to science and technology, and further research and studies, naiidentify na ang autoimmune diseases

You know whats prevalent these days? over sharing sa socmed.

    1. Wala pa namang gamot sa aids. But there are medicine that can control HIV. Pero pag aids na,no cure na...

      Delete
    2. Huh? Saan mo nakuha yang balitang yan?! Fake news ka mars! Wala pang cure sa AIDS!

      Delete
    3. @3:32 Just to clarify lang regarding AIDS.

May threshold ng CD4 count to be considered as AIDS (according to the CDC, below 200 cells/mm^3, whereas PLHIV who have a CD4 count over 500 are generally considered to be in good health, thus the need for the ARV to control the virus’ replication).

I even know someone who was only at 3 cells/mm^3 (yes, 3!) 10 years ago but was able to bounce back. 40 days sa hospital and all. I think nasa 350 na sya now. Slowly but surely na pag-taas, and traveling the world sa spare time nya and rescuing strays left and right.

So yes, no cure naman talaga regardless if generally in good health si PLHIV (500 or more) or nag-advance na sa AIDS (200 and less), but hindi pa huli for the latter and the person can bounce back pa naman kahit umabot pa sa AIDS although very challenging sya.

    4. Baka HIV ibig saibihin ni commenter.

    5. 5:38 are you a doctor? Masyado technical sumakit ulo ko.

Dami talaga natin classmates na matalino. Minsan may lawyer din dito.

      Delete
Minsan pwede naman tayo magresearch - sa mga legit sites or makakakuha ka talaga ng info from other people like this one.

May iba pa na friends niya and he's rich.

And naging hopeful ako sayo 5:38. Fervently praying for my friend na kaka diagnose. Nasa 56 ang CD4 niya and may sorethroat. Naka confine at this minute. Hopefully he can manage to bounce back and live longer.

      Delete
    7. Hi,11:58 pm. 5:38 pm here.

Di ko sya nakita na technical. I just took it upon myself to understand the differences kase ang dami pa din misconception about this. HIV or AIDS: no cure. Magkaiba lang sila ng stages and varying strength ng immune system kaya I felt I needed to mention those (with sources).

Mukhang madami naman pwede mag-benefit sa info.

And hindi ako doctor, although I am confident to say na may kataasan ang educational attainment ko (science HS, UP grad thrice and proud marites here on FP since Time Giver).

@2:45 pm, yes thank you. Tried to explain it as short as possible without scrimping on important details/distinction. Hoping for the best sa friend mo. Sobrang survivor din nung kakilala ko, nag agaw buhay pa and all. Tapos through time, parang walang nangyari. May sarili ng bahay, ganda ng source of income, almost every 3 months gumagala overseas and may philanthropy eme pa.

Praying for your friend. Ma-survive nya yan!

  9. At 10:37 ... Covid infection activates autoimmune diseases. I have so many patients suffering from this problem post covid infection . It’s wild. Not saying covid did that to her, but so many autoimmune problems were triggered by it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This is true. Covid can reactivate old viruses in the body like EBV or trigger other autoimmune issues that was dormant in a person's body. Even stress can trigger these dormant autoimmune issues. That's why some ppl get lupus. Not all are hereditary.

      Delete

    3. They're trying to imply na it's because of the vaccine. Ignorante.

    1. 4:12 how sure are you po?

    2. Stop spreading fake news 4:12!!

      Delete
    3. Do you have scientific evidence on this?

      Delete
    4. That is false. Covid virus itself can trigger autoimmune issues and other dormant viruses in your body. Not the vaccine itself. Ppl who didn't get the vaxx, but got Covid ended up retriggering these things in their body.

      Delete
    5. I have so many kind of vaccines until now okay naman ako.

      Delete
    6. Fake news peddler

      Delete
    7. Stop pushing your anti-vaxx agenda here. Autoimmune disorder ay walang cause. It's not because of what a person did or did not do.

      Delete
    8. Omg 4:12. Wala ka sa hulog

      Delete
    9. Nope. It isn't the vaccine.

      Delete
    10. At 4:12, talaga? The vaccines caused it? How do you explain the people who got the covid infection before the vaccine was mandated suffered from so many covid related problems (pan vasculitis, encephalopathy leading to early onset dementia, brain fog, alopecia, POTS, arrhythmias, lupus, hepatitis, kidney diseases, RA, stroke, pneumonitis, etc?)? These are the group of people affected the most because they did not get the vaccine. I still have patients from 2020 suffering breathing/bleeding/autoimmune problems because of this. Sila yung mas affected and during the delta variant because during those time, ayaw mag pa vaccine ng tao. We even have a clinic for this, search mo U of M post covid infection clinic. Ever wonder why we have so much cases of stroke recently at these are young group of people? Because believe it or not, if you get infected by covid, mild or not, thickens your blood easily that’s why so many people stroke out or have a cardiac arrest from Pulmonary Embolism following a development of a blood clot. Covid virus makes your body attack itself differently- - autoimmune response. You don’t want the vaccine, good for you. Pero how about those who got affected because their body did not respond well? Ang selfish mo. Hirap mo ka bonding.

  13. Ung husband ko nagkasakit during pandemic, around Aug, 3 months after ko manganak. Biglang di na makatayo, makalakad, auto immune disease daw, transverse myelitis, namaga ung myelin sheet sa spine. 3 yrs na and naka walker pa din sya. So depressing di namin alam kung gagaling pa.

    Prayers for you Maiqui. 😞😞

    1. Ang nega nga anti vaxxer. Just bcos iba tayo ng belief, mali na kami. Personally my fam and I researched about it and through that we made a PERSONAL decision not to. Just bcos your govt said so, tama na agad. I would never say na mali ang decision mo to get vaccinated

      Delete
    2. Excuse me, my decision is as personal as yours is and it is not the govt's. Actually it stems from a family of doctors abroad who are very well updated with the studies and effectivity of such vaccines. And no we don't make hasty generalizations na nagkaganyan si Maiqui, AY DAHIL SA VAX YAN. Nakakatawa mga anti vaxxer dito.

    1. Yes meron naman autoimmune disease even before pandemic and isama mo na din ang heart attack pero hindi mo din pwedeng alisin yung factor ng covid and vaccine if you had both in the equation. Pwede mo lang sya alisin as factor if di ka nag covid or nag vaccine. Any rational person would think this way.
