  1. This might be a big deal if we are in the 90’s. Only few people know her today and most of them are oldies.

    1. HAHAHA tomoh.

    2. She’s a legacy act who tours based on her music catalogue. Baka magulat ka na top tour earners every year eh mga acts from the past.

    3. Wow maka-oldies. I know her and I'm 21. Just because you have limited taste in music or riding the kpop wave does not diminish other young people's taste and range in music nor Alanis' accomplishment. Please, wag pacool.

    4. Ay, 3 songs lang alam mo? You're such a poser.

    5. Oldies ka jan. I'm not even forty yet but I know her and had her Jagged Little Pill album.

    6. 12:22 big deal naman talaga mapanood mo music artists na hindi mo napanood nung kabataan mo and now you are given the chance and have the funds to do so.

    7. Music transcends multiple Generations, ganun ang music nya siguro, dikorin sya kilala pero nag google ako yung jaged little pill na album nya e 17x platinum sa US, 33 Million copies worldwide, ayun ha isang album pa lang yan

    8. true 12:52. ang chaka ng mga tao na ang dahilan lagi why don't they know a singer or yung mga song because it came from a different time. hindi yan excuse. pathetic is what they are. I listen to frank sinatra, and it's my grandparents music, but nagustuhan ko siya, because music knows no borders. mahiya kayo if you're reason for not listening to that music is "hindi ninyo panahon."

    9. 12:32 dahil siguro hindi ka fan ni alanis or ng musical genre nya which is ok, kanya kanyang taste yan, pero yung ipagmalaki mo pa as if you’re better than everyone who is a fan of her is tactless and tasteless.

    10. 12:22 90s was the era where alternative rock flourished. I was in my elem days nun. Not yet in my 40s and I don’t consider myself old. Too bad you can’t appreciate good music

      Delete
    11. The fact is she produced great and wonderfully-written music. It's either you know how to appreciate good music or not. May pa "big deal" ka pang alam.

      Delete
    12. It is a big deal for Ice

    13. Yuck! Legend and icon sya. Kahit si Taylor Swift pa ipantapat mo waley.

      Delete

    16. 12:32 baka mahirap kayo dati, wala kayong radyo and TV. Hahahaha!! If you know Ang TV, TGiS, Gimik, ASAP, SOP, Kool 106, Magic 89.9, etc. impossibleng hindi mo kilala si Madam.

      Delete
    17. She’s a big musical icon in our time. Empowering women with here music. If you don’t know her, tahimik na lang

      Delete
    18. Maybe few people, but people with strong earning and spending capacity now. Yun ang lamang ng acts from the past. Kung quality of performance lang din paguusapan, very understanding pa ang ganyang fans, very forgiving.

    5. 7:46 May old millennials kasi at may young. Main market niya is old millennials. Young millennial sister ko (1988) and they’re into late 2000s music na.

      Delete
    2. Kala ko ako lang nakapansin! Nakakalungkot if true kasi nag effort at gumastos tayo to watch her Live in concert.

      Delete
    3. Lip sunc buong concert?

      Delete
    4. well.. i'm a fan of her music then and now. but let's face it, sa timbre ng boses nya at style, with her age, it will never be the same again. sad truth.

      Delete
    5. I saw vids from her concert sa Easy Rock FB page, hindi naman lip sync, na sintunado nga sya sa key nung hayayaa intro ng Ironic kase ang lakas ng sigawan ng audience.

      Delete
    6. Were you there? I was there, impossible na lip sync.. may technical issues sa umpisa, parang hindi natimpla ng sound engineer, pero she is singing.. And her voice is still the same..

      Delete
    7. Not lip sync. I watched the concert

      Delete
    8. Wow may macomment lang. andun ka ba?

      Delete

She sang live and damn she did great!

  6. I’m 37 & I love Jagged Little Pill since grade school. Even the new acts of today like Olivia Rodrigo look up to Alanis.

  7. Jealoussss?! My first girl crush halos mabaliw ako sa delta nung di ako naka pasok sa noon time show event nya. - 38 years old to

  8. Songs from the 90's yan talaga ang lakas ng recall sa mga tao, hindi ma-autotune mga singers. Classic!

    ReplyDelete
  9. 1:51 I was there during her concert. Day 2. If concert-goer ka, you’d know if it’s live or not.

12:22 I was born in 1986. Wala nang Alanis Morissette sa panahon ngayon and shame on those people for not knowing her art and music.

  10. Real music-writing skills. Plus vocals pretty good too. I still think na only Ed Sheeran and Adele are real musicians in this generation. The rest are meh. Alanis was the real deal in the 90’s. Solid yan.

  11. I’m not a fan of Aiza but definitely a fan of Alanis.. Truth be told she is the Taylor Swift of our Generation.. Wala pang social media pero her songs are our life song.. Grabe when she sang Ironic, everyone in the arena are singing it.. Nostalgic talaga..

  12. I remember buying that Jagged Little Pill CD noong college angst days ko 🎉 I memorized all the somgs esp You Oughta Know wohooo!

    ReplyDelete
  13. used to listen to her when i was younger, pero as you grow old and experience things, dun nagkakameaning yun songs nya, kaya mas mahal ko yun music nya now na nagkaedad nako. for me, "you oughta know" is one of her greatest song, nagamit ko to during the breakup, and the vocals, the lyrics grabe kuhang kuha nya emotions ko during that time.

  14. Jagged Little Pill is one of the most influential and groundbreaking albums of of the century, to the point na even Olivia Rodrigo is still referencing it for her music and marketing 30+ years later. All this "music about my exes" isn't new, but the 80s and early 90s paved the way for the unapologetic, angry, and empowering heartbreak music that many current artists still create.

Ang mga taong walang alam, they will call Alanis's music baduy or no big deal but those who understand music know what a legend she is.
