All nominees were judged on the merits as lead actresses and deemed worthy contenders. Nadine is that chosen winner this year. As for winning based on fan hype, there are those with bigger and noisier fanbase who has repeatedly failed to be nominated and win. So it's not about the hype since the award is not based on fan vote.

ReplyDeleteGaling sya talaga. Let’s not forget she can also do comedy. If you want an actress who can give nuanced, subtle yet detailed acting on top of the usual, get her. Her awards also show na nag evolve na ang basis for good acting sa Pinas. I’m excited for Philippine movies, maybe it’s really entering a new golden era. For Nadine, I’d love to see her do other roles in a different genre naman, to further test her acting prowess or maybe another romcom but more mature and with a different leading man.

Nanood ako ng live ng FAMAS kaso sandali lang ang pangit nung pag magsspeech yung winners lalapit yung mga tao na nasa stage sa gitna like makikita natin sa pic na ito dapat si Nadine lang ang nasa pic kasi siya dapat focus... saka ang dami ng tao sa stage, makalat tignan e dapat mga host/presenter lang at isang magbibigay ng trophy ang andyan. Ayun lang reklamo ko. Congratsue sa winners

ReplyDeleteNaging mag-lolo sina Noel Trinidad at Nadine Lustre sa Kapamilya serye na Till I Met You. Lolo Soc and Iris yata names nila dun. Nadine’s late stepfather in the series, who she fondly calls Tito Papa (portrayed by Richard Yap in a guest role), was the son of Noel’s character. Naging mag-tatay naman sina Noel at Richard sa Be Careful With My Heart. Ang nanay naman ni Nadine sa TIMY ay si Carmina Villaroel. Dito yata nakuha ng Abot Kamay Na Pangarap ng GMA yung idea na pagtambalin sina Doc RJ at Lyneth. LOL!
