ReplyDeleteI think there was a failure of security in the establishment. While Lea is admonishing the fans involved, the theatre management should conduct where there may have been lapses in security.

DeleteKung ako ang nasa situation ni Lea, isasara ko lang ang pinto ng dressing room. Hindi ko sila haharapin at off limits naman talaga ang backstage unless part ka ng production/security team. Kahit magantay sila dun nang matagal bahala sila. Tatawag lang ako ng security at aantayin ko dumating. Mabait pa si Lea for handling it herself. Baka nagmamadali din kaya no choice at cornered sya. Pero dapat sa ganyan bulukan style. Walang haharap hanggat walang security para harangin sila.

ReplyDeleteI’ve seen local performers here in the states at marami ngang feeling susyal na mga pinoy dito kasi nga naman “sponsor” or “co-producers” daw sila. Ok lang naman but they act high and mighty na ibang klase.

DeleteWhile I don't like lea and I'm one of those who think she's a bit rud, the fans have to understand a big difference between lea and their other idols. Lea is not the ypical celebrity na pinoy. Celebs like sharon na cinocompare, bread and butter nila ang fans because they are celebrities first and artists second. Mas malaking pera nakukuha nila sa endorsements nila kaya grabe rin sila magfan service. Lea is an artist first and a celebrity second. Hindi siya naging top endorser. Hindi fans at image ang bumubuhay sa kanya. It's her craft.

And of course, common sense, don't ever go inside anyone's dressing room without permission, tapos nakavideo pa. Bakit nga ba namang walang security diyan.

ReplyDeleteWait for the actors outside of the theater. They almost always come out to say hi to the fans, sign autographs and do selfies. I waited for Lea outside after Once on This Island on Broadway and she was so gracious to all of the fans and even took a selfie with me.

ReplyDeleteI saw the video of the entitled fan and didn't see anything unusual from Lea's reaction. This is no difference if someone enters your house uninvited - they will be asked the same way "Who are you or who the f..k are you?!) The way Lea still entertained them is very commendable. Maybe the entitled fan wasn't used to hearing people speak very well and proper that they felt offended. The truth is Lea is the victim here.

ReplyDeleteHonest question, ano ba role ng producer sa broadway show na yan? Diba made public naman un booking sa broadway and nasa contract na un show na yan until a given time period so the ticket purchase will be accessed na online via broadway or un sa booth sa may time square.
ReplyDeleteI stopped seeing celebrities as important. Meaning, I pay to watch their movies, concert, listen to their music, but that's it. Hindi ako praning who would want to go back stage at magpa-feeling close with the celeb. Yung iba akala mo pa property na yung artista just because they paid for the ticket or merch. Stop treating celebrities as if they have any impact to your lives because tbh it should be the other way around. After all, you are making them rich. Enjoy their performance but hanggang doon na lang and huwag na magpa-feeling close.

DeleteLets admit it. Kita sa video na nairita na si Lea. Kung pinagbigyan ang fans na hindi naman pumasok talaga sa dressing room wala ng issue. If ayaw ni Lea kasi bawal sabihin nya with kind words nalang na hintayin sya sa labas. And always smile to fans. No issue there if medyo hindi mainit ang ulo nya. The fans are not aggressive ngpakilala lang na fans lang sila ang pangit lang yung nagsinungaling na kilala si gtoengi.
