DeleteTV5 doesn't seem to have a lot of resources kaya maliit ang studio. Starting from scratch din ang TVJ and it's possible na naglabas din sila ng sarili nilang pera to make this comeback possible.

ReplyDeleteTama si Ogie D, magiging highest ratings and views ng TVJ show among the 3 because of curiosity. Kahit ako I tuned in, but watched IS online as well. In terms of production value, EAT lags behind IS. Touching yung emotional entrance ng TVJ, but at the same time goosebumps din ang groundbreaking union and crossover of artists ng 2 and 7. IMO, mahihirapan ang EAT to sustain today's hype, medyo old-fashioned format sila. Whereas IS will make keep peeps on their toes on future collaborations at sinong kapuso guest ang lilitaw. As for the quasi EB, they're a ticking time bomb.

heto ang honest na comment. I was disappointed with the opening performance they do lag behind na talaga. But they're an institution so wapakels naman mga viewers nila. for me, kung saan gusto manood then let the people be. ang sabi nga yorme, ngayon buffet na, marami ng choices.
DeleteI think that is the point though, they don't seem to be chasing the hype anymore and is making the show for the sake of their loyal viewers, yung mga elderly na napaiyak sa comeback nila. It appears na yun ang dahilan kaya may falling out sila ng mga jalosjos, baka gusto nilang gawing parang showtime yung EB na trendy and leave yung old school concepts behind. At the end of the day though, makaluma man yung EB other variety shows cant really hold a candle to them. Showtime became a cultural phenomenon when they came out and VG changed the landscape of mainstream comedy, but sobrang daming cultural phenomena na EB ang may gawa to the point na part na sila ng collective psyche ng pilipinas. And yes, this is another one of those instances cause they pretty much are the reason why ST is on GMA now lol. No comment about willy and tapebulaga lol.

You can have ur opinion but stop convincing people manood ng IS dahil TVJ is the king of noontime show at di kailangan ng santambak na guest artists to prove that! Ogie D halata namang “safe bashing” the dabarkads since pumutok ang Jalosjos issue. wag ako!
DeleteI beg to disagree. IS was not able to overtake TVJ EB when they were still at GMA. If they will win over the new EAT it's probably because of lack of access to the show and not because the show is old-fashioned. As to Kapuso guests, let's see if GMA will let their stars go to TV5 for guestings. After all their CEO said that there's no more TV network war.

DeleteSis ibigay mo n ang pilot ep sa family at npaka konti talaga ng capacity. Andun din nmn sila to support lalo na mga seniors n nilang magulang. Inuna na nila family and staff, they have more days to come anyway for the fans pero super limited nga lang.

DeleteAgeism is REAL. Imagine, if this can be done to the likes of TVJ, regular people gets it worse. TVJ is a perfect example who ‘rose from the ranks’ purely through their creative genius and lots of blood, sweat and tears. Business owners come and go, but TVJ has made their mark and will be leaving a legacy for generations to come.

Pinoy henyo, all for juan and juan for all tas sugod bahay, then the phenomenal Aldub na nagstart lng sa simple 1 day segment at naging almost teleserye! Then first in history din na sila ang kauna-unahang noontime show na gumamit ng phil areana. TVJ and the noontime show is part of phil history.

ReplyDeleteThe set is too small for them. The studio lights are too dark as well. Sana nga bumalik sila sa Broadway. Mas ok don. At swerte yung studio na yon sa kanila. They deserve a bigger venue for their show.

Pati mga anak ko na never pa nakauwi ng pinas kilala ang EAT Bulaga dahil lagi yun yung pinapanuod ng parents ko habang pinapakain sila lol

ReplyDeleteI love tvj at sana masustain ang ratings nila pero ung lights, camera grade, studio pati ung pagka gloss ng labas nila sana ayusin ng tv5. Kasi sanay ako sa gma na maganda ang ilaw at studio. Ayusin nyo production value tv5 please kasi ung panget ang resolution ng show nakakatamad manood. Parang kwarta o kahon nung 90s ang dating eh tvj yan kaya dapat pati studio bigatin din.
ReplyDeletesis temporary lang nga yan habang ginagawa ang bigger studio, I doubt na pag aksayahan pa nila ng pera yan kung lilipat sila. I am fine with the lighting and all the minor technical flaws. mahalaga napapanood na sila uli.

And nung dumating na TVJ, walking in the hallway tapos when they started singing Eat Bulaga theme song grabe mukha akong timang na umiiyak and yet kumakanta at the same time hahahaha! They really are a part of pinoy families na. Maski kaming team abroad na feel at home uli daily sknla. Iba yung happiness na dagdag nila sa everyday life naming. Even though malayo man kami sa Pinas, they make us feel right at home.
