Nakakagawa parin ng mga dummy accounts sa Facebook and Instagram na nagpo-post din naman ng mga fake and hateful status and photos on certain people. Asawa ko victim ng mga dummy accounts sa Facebook. Naka-ilang daang report na kami, halatang fake account naman, hindi ma-take-down take-down ng Facebook. Kesyo, di naman daw nag go against sa standards nila, kahit mga posts eh may threats na at paninira. Kahit NBI ng Pinas wala magawa dahil sa policy ng Meta. Basta nasa internet ka, walang safe space dyan. Kahit nga sa mga FB groups, magpaka-anonymous ka man ng post, meron at merong magsscreenshot ng post mo to post it somewhere else. Di ka man exposed pero yung pinost mo about your personal life, maipapasa nang maipapasa sa iba kahit nasa grupo ka na inaakala mong “safe” ka.
Pansin ko si Zuckerberg nanggagaya lang ng idea ng iba. Yung Snapchat ginawang story, yung sa tiktok ginawang reels at saka dati pwedeng mag upload ng mahabang video sa ig pantapat sana sa Youtube pero hindi nagclick, tapos ito naman thread ginagaya ang twitter.

I highly doubt that Threads will be any different, considering that it is owned by Meta. Spreaders of fake news and trolls are still abound in Facebook, not to mention the privacy issues. So long as these apps are not properly regulated, then they are all the same, just different brand names.
ALL social media is toxic. If we really want to detoxify, wala tayo dapat accounts. We will miss out on stuff yes, pero wala rin tayong mababsa na mga lason.
Bes hindi lang bash yun, death threat po which is an entirely different thing. And even if maraming nakaka experience nyan, it doesn't mean it's ok. If I know ganyan ka katoxic mag post sa mga public figures kaya ok lang sayo yan.
