    3. Does this mean na I can’t watch Barbie movie even thru online streaming?

      Delete
    4. Eh di wag chop chop. Total ban na lang. Problem solved.

      Delete

    6. nireview ang movie dahil may Chinese hidden agenda. this movie is already banned to some SEA countries dahil sa wrong map na ginamit nila. that is how seriously our kapitbahay are taking the teritorrial dispute ewan ko na lang sa pinas mas inuna pa kumuda kesa alamin muna kung bakit may ganitong ganap.

  2. People, it's a fantasy movie. Not a documentary.

      Delete
    2. For sure sinadya nila na gamitin ung mapa na inaangkin ng tsina ung buong west phil sea bec china is a huge market for a movie. Compared to countries with territorial disputes with china, mas malaki kikitain nila sa china pag mag hit doon. They don’t care if they are perpetuating wrong information, it’s all about money. So i say ban it in the Philippines too. Vietnam made the right move.

      Delete

Blatant disrespect na yan from a non-involved party.

      Delete
    4. 3:23 agree.

  5. Why are they reviewing this? I think the movie is for general patronage

    1. It’s bec of the 9-dash line issue sweetie. Be informed din minsan.

    2. 1. It is their job.
      2. It's because of the 9 dash line that was seen in the movie just like with Abominable and Uncharted.

      Delete
    3. Allegedly may map daw sa movie depicting the 9-dash line.

      Delete
    4. 321 not allegedly mali talaga ginamit nilang world map.

      Delete
    2. Vietnam nga pumalag e! Ang Pinas duwag ? I ban yan!

      Delete
    3. Dear 8:47am, tell that to the senators and congress officials na playing safe pagdating sa usaping South China Sea.

      Delete
    4. Madaming movies na pwede pang ipalabas bukod jan. Dazurb na dazurb nito ang ma ban.

      Delete

      Delete
  7. Ban it too like what Vietnam did

    ReplyDelete
  8. Inlivw magot sobra sobra, currently my ulti crush pero for me mas ok na nga na i-ban.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Paki ban.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yes ban it, these Hollywood movies naman are obviously trying to charm Chinese market e mas malaki ang kita nila jan kesa sa pinas na liit lang naman ng population, not a big deal

    1. eto yung hindi maintindihan ng mga tao dito. akala nila, entertainment industries in other countries in other countries eh hindi naman sila kikita sa atin. Mga ante, hindi YouTube yan! Ibahin niyo sila!

      Delete

      Delete
  11. Pag ang isang Hollywood movie successful sa China ok na sila, kaya they're pleasing China, china has the most cinemas, i ban na lang sa Pinas yan

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

    ReplyDelete
  13. In one of the scenes in the Margot Robbie starrer, Barbie stands in front of a crudely drawn map that seemingly portrays the nine-dash line. The U-shaped marking illustrates what China claims as part of the South China Sea borders, including areas that countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Brunei, and the Philippines assert as part of their territories.

    ReplyDelete

So need nila to attract that market dahil tiba tiba sila.

      Delete
  15. yep ban it. west philippine sea

True Artists should handle this, hindi kung sino sino lang.

      Delete

      Delete
    5. 850 ang importante wala sila sa sinehan. Asa mga pirated site sila. Walang kinita mula satin.

      Delete
    6. 8.50 panoorin mo wala kaming paki! hindi sila kikita dun!

      Delete
    10. 8:50 ang importante dito, we stand our ground that we do not agree with the nine dash line, naiintidihan mo?! Edi i-pirata nila tong movie, basta naka-ban tong movie dito sa Pinas at wala silang kikitain. Kudos to Vietnam.

      Delete
  17. Vietnam bans it bec of map showing like China occupying China Sea area that belongs to Vietnam yata. That's why one US politician says Barbie is made in China bec it seems it;s support China, whatever. Not gonna watch it.

Sorry no idea talaga.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yes, it's just a movie. Yes, it's only fiction.

BUT THAT 9 DASH MAP IS THE CENTER OF A REAL LIFE CONFLICT IN THE REGION AND SHOWING THAT IN THE MOVIE MEANS PICKING THE SIDE OF THE BULLY.

  32. This is one way of normalizing the legality of china’s claim unti unti from pop culture, it will
Creep to political issues. It’s a term called soft invasion. That’s how korea entered the global market by doing kpop and kbeauty.
