But how would they do that given their limited coverage.? If they won't rate, can they blame tv5's weak coverage or the audience interest with tvj isn't that strong anymore?
EB would definitely fare way better than competition on day 1 and it's not just in terms of free tv but also on cable and streaming reach. Internationally it is expected to be lower as TV5 has less exposure but they can regain that loss naman through socmed platforms
Not really. TAPE EB is done whether TVJ EB makes it or not, cause ST is being set up to take its place. Matagal nang tapos ang peak ng TVJ EB so nobody expects their audience to grow anymore. I think lumaban lang ang TVJ to preserve their legacy and to be able to retire on their own terms.
Sa Sugod Bahay pa lang malaki na advantage ng Eat Bulaga (TVJ). Hindi naman mahirap ikipat ang channel kada noontime. EB(the legit one), has made itself not just the longest noontime show on tv but also as a public service. Ang daming natulungan at tinutulungan. And sime of their projects for the society (recycle, mga upuan for eskuwelahan), mga wala sa kalabang showS. And never forget ang Lenten Special nila na inaabangan. Sa social media they have fb and yt accounts na talgang maraming views. Yes the signal of tv5 may not be "that strong" but madaling maayos yun pero yung following at tagal mahirap pantayan yun.
Nayanig nga noontime shows. But this is good, lahat sila aligaga to cater competitive output. So ang winner dito ang viewers. Magkakaalaman na, sino ang dabest.

Buti naman bumuo na sila ng production company nila - TVJ Production, it’s about time bec they have the money, experience and expertise to produce shows bukod pa sa 51% share ni MVP. Even after nila ma reach ang 50 yrs, Eat Bulaga can go on with TVJ behind the cam, the dabarkads can continue plus new faces, magaling naman sila makahanap at mag build up ng new host/talent. It’s ok for TVJ to take a huge cut from their salary since part owner na sila ng production company, may share sila sa profit. It’s good for Philippine TV nadagdagan ang entertainment producers. I just hope they don’t just stick to their old humors. While old is gold, they need to attract more gen-z viewers din, I hope they discover new creatives that can help inject fresh humors that could complement theirs.
