Charot!

Kaya marami sila alam about sa atin. Si Rob Schneider at Apl.de.ap tlga proud to be Pilipino.

    3. Napaka simple na nga diba! CAPITAL for any country it's CAPITAL P di pa magawa

    4. So true about Rob Schneider. You would think he’s totally Caucasian but he’s deeply rooted to our culture. His post about his late Tita was so touching and heartfelt.

    5. It's social media, not an essay or formal paper. She obviously wasn't using proper capitalization throughout the post and the small p was obviously not to offend. Kayo siguro nagagalit pag tinext pangalan niyo tas hindi capital. Fun at parties, huh? Lol

    6. Welcome to the country where anything and everything is an ISSUE , the “P”hilippines !

    7. only in the philippines.

  3. Andaming spelling bee contestants! Sana malayo pa marating nyo. I am very particular with grammar and spelling most especially if it's business related. Otherwise, I can let it pass.

    1. You can pass on that? Grammar & spelling particular ka pang nalalaman eh basic knowlege na pag noun dapat CAPITAL LETTER ate kong panggap.

    2. CAPITAL P di pa alam?

    3. It's just an instagram post. My goodness, criticize her if she' wrote a business letter. Sana ikayaman nyo yan!

    7. 12:19 YOU can let it pass?

So in a way, hindi ito casual post lang para kay vanessa with a small letter v.

      Delete
    8. Once, okay lang, baka kako typo lang. Eh two times nyang gawin. Mukhang mapurol lang talaga si kabayan kuno.

      Delete
    9. Exactly! Social media lang iyan. Hindi naman iyan business or official letter.

      Delete
    10. But IT IS A BUSINESS POST since she's paid to do it. Qualified na ba mag-ask for capital P?

      Delete
    11. OMG 12:19 I don't know what kind of a Filipino are u. If you are not bothered, yes we are. Yung sa business particular ka pero how you spell your country e hindi, ano ka kayang klaseng tao?

      Delete
    12. Again its just an instagram post. But it has nothing to do with her lack of love or respect for the country. LOL.

    13. 2:29 I understand your passion about grammar and capitalization, but don't stoop down on that level na pepersonalin mo na yung tao. Just because hindi marunong mag-capitalize eh mababang uring tao na! Naloka ako sa galit mo teh!

    16. 2:29 how dare you criticizing me as a human being just because I don't really care about your shallowness. btw, i'm a US citizen. i'm too busy here making money and achieving in life that i won't pay attention to those lapses. i hope your being highly critical and judgmental would translate to your finances.

    1. 12:47 It’s not a small thing dahil tinuturo yan sa school- na dapat capital letter pag proper noun.

Wag kang OA. There's more to life outside social media.

      Delete
    3. 8:57 alam mo ang mas scary part te? Yung way ng pag-call out sa isang pagkakamali. Name of countries should be capitalized. May respeto.

Nothing wrong. Maganda ang representation. Just to be clear. Opportunity for all actors anuman ang kulay at ethnicity. Like girl, kita namin si madir. Pinay lang siya anez? Then years go by, saka siya naging komportable isama sa PR at branding niya ang pagiging pinay when asian films/tv shows ang nagbe-breakthrough sa US. I know this kasi HSmusical fan ako at lahat ng interviews nila dati sinubaybayan ko kaya knows ko yung pagbabago sa confidence ni ate vanessa sa ethnicity niya.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Nakalimutan mo yung Spanish... May lahi din daw spanish yung nanay nya, yan ang lagi nyang sinasabi nuon. LOL!

      Delete
    2. Oy batchmate, haha naalala ko yang Tyra Banks show na yan. Sabi nya, Spanish-Chinese-Filipino ang mother nya. Tyra asked her if she speaks Tagalog, she said no. Buti pa si Tyra Banks, kahit hindi ko sya like mas may connection sa Pinas. Obvious naman na full Pinay si mudra pero dinagdagan ng ibang lahi haha.I used to collect Cosmopolitan and Candy mags din dati, she would always say about her being multi-ethnic that but never talked more about her Pinoy roots. Tsaka lang netong kinuha sya as ambassador. Si Zac Efron kahit business yung nagdala sa kanya dito pero at least he talked about it in his interviews, I remember si Zac nagsabi kay Jessica Sojo na, "Vanessa says hi!" LMAO! They're matured enough to decide on their own, kung gusto talagang matuto at i embrace ang kultura natin gagawin nila. Kung ayaw may dahilang, kung gusto maraming paraan.

      Delete
    3. In the past, Hollywood was less accepting when it comes to Asian casting especially Filipinos in movies or TV. Although, there are Hollywood actors who have Filipino roots, only few are vocals about their heritage because of discrimination in Hollywood.
Did you listen to Lea Salonga interview? she tried to audition for another Broadway role but got rejected because of her race, this was after she already won Tony and Olivier Awards. Broadway Award winning Theater actress yan. Lea also added, some people wanted to see her fail.
Did you also watch Dolly De Leon movie "Triangle of Sadness", she was a toilet manager and the way her character was treated in the movie? it is reality.

  24. Never a fan of Vanessa but guess we could just give her a lecture about proper and common nouns but not entirely bash her. At least she tried to promote the country. Panay praises na nga tayo sa ibang lahi just the mere mention of Philippines (for the sake of content). Let's not be too harsh.

"I don't believe in god." Ganun.

As in, "satan." Siguro dahil he was disrespecting Satan.

In most cases pag lesser gods, small letter g. Pag Supreme Being, big G.

    2. Dara is not pinoy. Tignan nyo yung BTS, they rejected the offer of being tourism ambassador of the Philippines but instead became tourism ambassador of their own country which is just right.

Bella Poarch and Bretman Rock are better candidates for that pero political reasons ata kung bat hindi pwede si Bretman.
Pag sumikat si Chanty Videla and her kpop group Lapillus, pwedeng-pwede din syang tourism ambassador natin.

    3. 7:30 Sandra rejected becoming a tourism ambassador to Philippines, kase obligation ng ambassador is to attract koreans to Philippines, ayaw ni Sandra? Di ba mahal niya ang Pilipinas? Di siya proud sa Pilipinas?

Country names are proper nouns; the first letter must always be written in capital letters, as with other names or proper nouns, when writing or included in sentences.
