Mr. Dumaual should have directly asked TG what she meant by "Creative differences." Asked her directly if there's truth to her refusal to work and collaborate with other dance groups. Di ko rin gets bakit siya pa ang hurting when she was the one who pulled out / nangiwan sa ere. Na-hurt ba ang ego niya dahil it was a missed calculation on her part? maybe she thought SG will run after her and beg and dismiss the other dance groups to favor G-force? If this is purely a professional decision bakit kahit isang member ng g-force wala man lang nanood sa concert ni SG, pinagbawalan ba ni TG ang group to watch the concert? Ang dami ng dance groups na sumikat at nawala, ingat lang ang g-force baka this might be the start of their downfall. As a solid Popster I am hurting for Sarah dahil sa issue niya with Gforce.. She treated them like a family lalo si TG.. So kung anuman ang issue sana maresolve pa rin. It's true na hindi kawqlan kay Sarah kung hindi na sila maging backup dancers nya but still mabigat pa rin sa kalooban nya yun.. I was there sa concert and ang masasabi ko sobrang galing pa rin even without Gforce..

Client hired a Vendor1 to provide services for a project. Vendor1 agreed. Client wants to hire other vendors to provide the same services for the same project to achieve the client’s vision for the project. Vendor1 didn’t like it and pulled out from the project, 2 months prior to project completion. Screams unprofessional to me. And no, G saying that her act of pulling out was to encourage SG’s creative freedom is a complete and utter B$. SG’s creative vision included GF’s participation and G denied that from SG. How can that be encouraging?
I think if the rumors are true that a certain fee is requested everytime gagamitin ang choreo, parang hindi naman masama yun. May royalties na binabayad sa singers/composers when their songs are used, sana may ganun ding support for dancers. Hindi madali ang isip ng choreography. Sana may support tayo sa artists, not just singers but also dancers.
If ganyan ha bayaran din nila royalty ng lahat ng ginagamit nilang songs sa mga workshops at mga shows nila kung song ni sarah or other artists pa yan since pinagkakakitaan nila yan. Pati din yung songs na ginagawan nila ng choreo sa tiktok/ig bayad royalty din dapat since gamit sa business nila.
If so, bayaran din nila yung gumawa ng steps sa cha2x, tango, hip-hop, salsa, foxtrot at iba pang mga dance steps. Mygulay, the design is very ridiculous!

I find it funny to hear TG saying that she gave SG the gift of creative freedom. Uhm, no. If it was a gift of creative freedom, then you should have met SH halfway. But no, you were not ready to compromise which is why you pulled out 2 months prior the concert.
We should also take note that it was not hers to gift it to SG to begin with, since she was hired by SG and Viva, not the other way around. Her job was to deliver what her "employers" are asking for.

Again, it's G- Force's loss. The concert turned out very successful even without them. While watching all of Sarah's performances, you wouldn't notice the difference between having G-Force and not. At par mahuhusay din naman ang mga dancers na kasama niya.

ReplyDeleteMr. Dumaual should have directly asked TG what she meant by "Creative differences." Asked her directly if there's truth to her refusal to work and collaborate with other dance groups. Di ko rin gets bakit siya pa ang hurting when she was the one who pulled out / nangiwan sa ere. Na-hurt ba ang ego niya dahil it was a missed calculation on her part? maybe she thought SG will run after her and beg and dismiss the other dance groups to favor G-force? If this is purely a professional decision bakit kahit isang member ng g-force wala man lang nanood sa concert ni SG, pinagbawalan ba ni TG ang group to watch the concert? Ang dami ng dance groups na sumikat at nawala, ingat lang ang g-force baka this might be the start of their downfall. Because of this issue unti-unting naglalabasan ang mga bad stories/encounters about TG and their group.

I was there sa concert and ang masasabi ko sobrang galing pa rin even without Gforce..

DeleteClient hired a Vendor1 to provide services for a project. Vendor1 agreed. Client wants to hire other vendors to provide the same services for the same project to achieve the client’s vision for the project. Vendor1 didn’t like it and pulled out from the project, 2 months prior to project completion. Screams unprofessional to me. And no, G saying that her act of pulling out was to encourage SG’s creative freedom is a complete and utter B$. SG’s creative vision included GF’s participation and G denied that from SG. How can that be encouraging?
ReplyDeleteI think if the rumors are true that a certain fee is requested everytime gagamitin ang choreo, parang hindi naman masama yun. May royalties na binabayad sa singers/composers when their songs are used, sana may ganun ding support for dancers. Hindi madali ang isip ng choreography. Sana may support tayo sa artists, not just singers but also dancers.
ReplyDeleteIf ganyan ha bayaran din nila royalty ng lahat ng ginagamit nilang songs sa mga workshops at mga shows nila kung song ni sarah or other artists pa yan since pinagkakakitaan nila yan. Pati din yung songs na ginagawan nila ng choreo sa tiktok/ig bayad royalty din dapat since gamit sa business nila.

Delete@7:01 Kung pinatugtog nila yung song let's say via a streaming service like Spotify, bayad yun by pating for premium or inddirectly kasi may ads. I see this issue more as artists wanting better compensation for their effort. Since hindi naman umagree yung other party eh di no problem, use another choreography na lang, which they did. People are so quick to judge this situation as a selfish act of one party. It's possible na matagal na nilang negotiation ito pero nagdisagree lang talaga sa huli.

I find it funny to hear TG saying that she gave SG the gift of creative freedom. Uhm, no. If it was a gift of creative freedom, then you should have met SH halfway. But no, you were not ready to compromise which is why you pulled out 2 months prior the concert.

DeleteAgain, it's G- Force's loss. The concert turned out very successful even without them. While watching all of Sarah's performances, you wouldn't notice the difference between having G-Force and not. At par mahuhusay din naman ang mga dancers na kasama niya.

Such a vindictive move just because she didn’t want to share the stage with other dancers. Not something “a friend” would do.
