Filipino mentality at its finest! requiring children to bear the burden of lifting their parents out of poverty is unfair. Yes, it is important to honor and support parents, but it is not the sole responsibility of their children to provide for their financial well-being. Stop that mentality! As long as they are responsible for their choices and can raise their children on their own, then let them be.
