Hard times call for creativity, much more for celebrities who do not have as many jobs as the previous years when they were in demand. Netizens are divided between calling the social media activities of Entrepreneur Celebrity (EC) as creative business tactics or taking-advantage endeavors.
Netizens have observed that EC seems to be on the lookout for freebies, and never seems to get enough of them. They think EC falls under the category of people who are always trying to get something for nothing, and do not care about the effort or the cost that goes into creating something of value. Nonetheless, EC seems unmindful that her social media behavior is creating a buzz among netizens who are sharing their alleged experiences.
EC has learned to use her social media presence to acquire what she wants. Instead of paying in cash, EC offers a shout-out in exchange for goods, services, vacation packages, food, etc. Sadly, EC’s deals involve small business owners, whose every transaction carries a great value on their part. The new ones in the business think that a shout-out from EC would directly translate into increase in sales.
Allegedly, when EC is asked for monetary payment for orders, the line becomes dead. Thus, observers wonder if EC is unaware or even ignorant that her so-called ex-deals could affect her celebrity reputation.
While it is understandable that people like free things and services, it is important to remember that nothing in life is truly free. Business owners exert effort and resources to create or provide that item or service.
