Such amazing parents. I came out very late in life, and while I didn’t have a good relationship with my mom, it made me terribly happy when she accepted me and my partner with open arms. My siblings are religious Born-again Christians and they too are very welcoming with my preferences. Some people may dismiss it, but family acceptance is such a big thing for us queers.

Parang hindi naman defensive. I see it more as a mother proud of her child no matter what but still aware of any possible hate she might get because of our country's conservative nature.

Churches should dictate their own rules. If you don't like the rules, don't join so make your own church. Why force people to accept something they believe is unacceptable. Yan ang problema - you want to force yourself unto us.
They wouldn't mind about the church kung hindi sila sobrang against to the point na nahihinder 'yung progress. Sila 'yung sobrang maka-push ng paniniwala nila since then FYI
