My daughter came out as trans when she was 13 . I was saddened but at the same time I am still supporting her. When we mentioned it sa pedia nya may mga recommendation na about consult sa gender clinic . I hid it from her , she’s probably aware but I did not want to discuss it at her very young age. Call me old school pero sa totoo lang, hindi ko kaya iconvince ang anak ko (if ever man) na maging babae/ lalake or trans man siya. I will wait for the right age before he/ she transforms. Ayoko magkamali siya sa pagpili at bumalik sa dati niyang anyo.
Ang issue dito hindi sa belief ni Jaya which she is entitled and I may agree with in some way pero yung group na sinu-support nya na may hidden agenda and pretending to be what is not. Research the group guys
Please do a research about kids getting surgeries on transitioning before posting accusations and hate on this topic. I watched an interview of a child who de-transitioned and said that she had double mastectomy at 15yo. Once puberty kicks in, both for male and female, their mental, emotional, and social health concerns increases because of the physical changes in their body, amongst other things. A child can have early or late puberty, hence, it is dangerous to subject our kids to confusion and life changing decisions at this stage when they clearly have emotional imbalance. This fact is supported by those interviews I watched of kids who de-transitioned, where they say the same thing, that they were having depression and anxiety even before that period of transitioning.

The government is also grooming the children towards transitioning because of the big pharma. Letting them transition at such a young age and then these kids coming to a realisation eventually that it’s not what they actually really want and that they were just influenced by social media, will result into a much bigger problem for them. Sometimes transitioning is irreversible. Also, I think it should not be imposed that both sides push their narratives towards each other.

But he is straight as a ruler and as normal as any teen-aged boy (i.e. he does "boy" things and has female crushes). And we let him be kasi to me, that's what being gender-neutral is. Hindi pambabae lang ang pink at hindi panlalaki lang ang toy cars. We'll never move forward in this society as long as we assign things and roles to kids. Let them be. I've read a lot of news sa Daily Mail regarding this law na pwede ng mag-desisyon ang bata as young as 12 kung gusto nilang magpa-sex change or gender reassignment. Sagot pa nga ng national health service nila ang surgery fees. This is scary kasi normally during the teen stage, medyo confuse pa ang mga bata about sa sarili nila lalo ngayon na ginagawa ng trend ang pagiging gay/lesbian/trans/pan at kung ano ano pa. They teach them na normal lang na girls can be boys and boys can be girls. Why is this a problem? Because ito ang nagiging priority ng mga teachers dito instead na dapat ituro muna sa children ang foundation ng basic human anatomy. The teachers focus on these now too rather than teach children basic reading and math. Ito naman kasi sina John Lapus, ang hilig kumuda agad puro tsismis lang kasi alam.

DeleteI support lgtb, what I am against is prescribing hormone suppression and surgical sex change for kids below 18, let them be kids first. Yes part of puberty is being confused sexually but as you grow/mature you will know who/what you are. And they need their parent's guidance, not strangers who do sexually suggestive shows or stories. DeleteMy daughter came out as trans when she was 13 . I was saddened but at the same time I am still supporting her. When we mentioned it sa pedia nya may mga recommendation na about consult sa gender clinic . I hid it from her , she’s probably aware but I did not want to discuss it at her very young age. Baka ma brainwash lang into hormonal therapy and gender reassignment at a very young age. When she becomes an adult , she is free to decide . But not now, paano if she is just going through a phase . She couldn’t undo anything if nagawa na.

Kahit tawagin pang "transphobic" sila. Problema kung sino pang trans sila pa tong entitled. Advocate for your own spaces for your gender instead of conflating the two. A trans woman will never be a woman because not only are they physically different, but women have lived experiences that are far different from any male. ReplyDeletePlease do a research about kids getting surgeries on transitioning before posting accusations and hate on this topic. I watched an interview of a child who de-transitioned and said that she had double mastectomy at 15yo. Once puberty kicks in, both for male and female, their mental, emotional, and social health concerns increases because of the physical changes in their body, amongst other things. A child can have early or late puberty, hence, it is dangerous to subject our kids to confusion and life changing decisions at this stage when they clearly have emotional imbalance. This fact is supported by those interviews I watched of kids who de-transitioned, where they say the same thing, that they were having depression and anxiety even before that period of transitioning.
