Yun yung problem eh kasi diary style narration sa book and you rely on the imagination of the reader para creepy at mysterious ang dating. Kaso a movie is a visual medium and very little is left to the imagination, kaya nababawasan ang impact.
Totoo? Ganun usually reason eh. Since Amazon Prime bought the rights, mas safe kasi na nasa streaming na kaya kahit magflop, hindi masyado mapapansin at bayad na rin ang film prod sa rights so win-win for them.
I think bumababa kasi talaga purchasing power ni joshua. He gained some traction because of his thirst traps sa tiktok. But after two flop seryes the one with Charlie at yun Darna, the producer probably didn’t want to gamble
For me, dapat ginawa nilang comedy horror to kasi ganon yung libro.
Chito Roño is the director of Spirit Warriors (starring Streetboys), Feng Shui (Kris Aquino), and The Healing (Vilma Santos). Tiwala ako maganda 'to. Spirit Warriors and Feng Shui haunted me as a kid.
Mag kuya si Joshua Garcia at coco martin naging ham actor. At walang sariling identity. First coco is trying to be FPJ. Second. Joshua trying to be JLC. Sa totoo lang. Napaka layo ni coco at Joshua kila FPJ at JLC. Both coco and Joshua were both great actors during their early years din. Pansin ko parehas sila pabebe. Pa cute. Camera conscious.
Anyare? Nagregress imbes mag-improve. Weird.
ReplyDeletethought it was just me. Naging ham actor na kasi walang sariling identity 😂
DeletePansin ko rin. Magaling siya during his teen years pero hindi ko gusto yung acting niya lately. Sayang.
DeleteOverrated and overhyped kasi siya ever since. Ang bland niya as an actor tbh.
DeleteHalata kasing masyado siyang self conscious.
Horror genre so may sure market yan.
ReplyDeleteNot his best performance tbh

Goosebumps! Napakaganda basta Chito Roñio. And Joshua Garcia pa! Pang-international ang dating.
ReplyDeleteSiya ba si Mama Susan?
ReplyDeleteAnyare bakit ngayon lang sya ipapalabas? If I'm not mistaken 2 years ago pa to na shot, kasagsagan ng the Killer Bride.

DeletePurchasing power kamo 6:06 AM? Mag-Vivamax Kaya sya, I think mas dadami Ang magkaka like at manunuod sa kanya
DeleteOmg.
Charot
ReplyDeleteSadly, hindi natranslate ang creepiness from the book.
I hope maganda whole execution ng movie since its Direk Chito Rono.
ReplyDeleteLegit muntik ko nang ihagis yung libro after mabasa yung ending. I wonder paano nila itatranslate yun to film...
For me, dapat ginawa nilang comedy horror to kasi ganon yung libro.
