Shockwave is not an invasive procedure and recovery is fast but not so effective. In my case I still have the stones and was not able to pass through urinating.
Undergone a PCNL surgery eight years ago in a renown hospital in the Phils, can't understand tho why my doctor insisted that the next procedure would be a shockwave. I did not pushed through with the shockwave in the Phils but rather was done in the UAE with a foreign doctor and leftover stones were not able to pass through urination. My indian doctor now is suggesting RIRS (retrograde intrarenal surgery) as according to him shockwave is not anymore performed by Uro doctors nowadays because of its inferior results compared to RIRS.
There’s a natural way of flushing out stones (kidney or gall bladder). You can search online. It may depend on how big or small the stones are, if can still be done naturally. It was tried by my husband and it was effective. His last checkup shows his kidney and bladder clean.
If you are familiar with sampa-sampalukan (chanca piedra or seed under leaf) the so called stone breaker that would help. Mine was already 7cm then, the urgency of the situation that I had to undergo PCNL procedure.
Stop taking lots of Vit C. Drink plenty of water. Moderate salt intake. Eat foods with oxalates. in moderation. Oxalates can cause kidney stones. Ex: Avocado, tofu, etc. Google na lang please
Try lemon juice mga baks for kidney stones. Apple juice naman for gallstones. Epektib lalo yung lemon juice sa kidney stones lalo na yung freshly squeeze.
get well soon po.
