I don't like Joey. He's not funny. Even when I was a kid, watching a tvc movie was cringe and my mom would always say "ka-oa gyud". 🤣 but i grew up watching eat bulaga..there wasn't a lot of choices on tv, no internet and no cable but it kind of grow on you. It's become a part of your afternoon, pop culture at that time.. My school was a few mins away from home..so I'd go home to eat lunch and watch eat bulaga. So this show has become an institution on philippine tv. There's no denying that but..i do think we need change. The only time i watched eat bulaga again was when aldub became a thing. Jowapao shined. It was also refreshing to see something new= kalyeserye. Call me oa but jowapao's antics were a hit for me. I'd laugh my heart out and aldub had undeniable chemistry. Other than that, i don't think this show has innovated something new. They are obsolete in my opinion. Tvj looks sleazy - the snide comments are boring and disrespectful. Self deprecating humor is ok but otherwise.. anyway, time for a change na. We need something risky and new. Peace out.

So what if there's no franchise. Kapamilya is still number one among the filipino networks worldwide. Most of the fil-ams subscribed to ABS-CBN. They are also making big bucks in filipino streaming. Therefore, big mouth joey de leon is just a big hater of the kapamilyas LOL!

ReplyDeleteI've only ever liked Vic. Tito is a terrible politician and Joey has never been funny. Anyway, TVJ already became an institution and they could simply give way gracefully. They can move on to other things instead of holding on so desperately.

ReplyDeleteJDL on his franchise comment was not offensive to me because he was just stating a fact! I find his side comments "malaman" and those who do not agree or those who find his comments improper are entitled to their opinions too. JDL has a lot of "puns" that the listener may not like, pero tutoo naman ang meanings if you can read between his lines. He is not the type who will sugar coat his comments. Matabil siya in an "intelligent" very frank way.
