6:13 It's reality. Asians are not the first choice in roles. Nepotism is talamak sa Hollywood. May kilala ka bang Asian descent na sumikat ng walang TUNAY na talent sa acting o music?
Wag tayo OA. we barely knew her until Triangle of sadness. No one knows if they're going to make it or not in foreign movies. Sadyang para yun sa kanila. It just happens. That's how many talented people there are. But im glad na out of all the people, it happened to Dolly. Better talaga pag unknown veteran that came out of nowhere ang talent - it means you cant blame her for clout. :)
Biglang namayagpag ang pangalang Dolly De Leon. Everytime I searched her name sa Twitter usap usapan din sya mg mga ibang nationality based sa mga language ng tweets nila. Imagine 90s pa pala sya nagstart pero 2022 lang sya nagkapangalan dito sa Pinas.
Oh da vah ganyan lang dapat di yung dami pang eme eme sa hollywood dream. Antagal ngang naging ekstra lang ni ateng Dolly pero nung nagka break sya sa hollywood wala naman syang daming ka ek ekang sinabi against Philippine showbiz. Sa isang interview nga nya proud pa sya.
Wala siyang eme pero naalala ko in one of her interviews she said she was a struggling actress kasi nga hindi naman siya kagandahan to be given major roles which is kabaliktaran ng ibang artista ngayon na kahit hindi marunong or magaling umarte basta maganda or gwapo, projects ang lumalapit sa kanila. I hope madami pa sa mga talented artists natin ang mabigyan ng break sa Hollywood.
