    2. Nah. If you research enough may point yung kfans. The story does seem staged

Enjoy the music pero know your limit

    6. True 12:23.

    7. I read somewhere that this is just a marketing ploy kasi balak talaga nila magsell ng kpop merch

      Delete
    8. So kung rich pwede ijustify yung pagnanakaw? Hindi rich, sakto lang sa buhay

      Delete
    9. Diba 12:23AM.

    1. To each their own. Nahighlight lang because of kpop.

    2. I think it's an addiction. Di ba ganyan ang nangyayari kapag di mapigilan ang urge to have something?

      Delete
    4. Ang lala talaga. Nabisto ngayon napakamahal ng mga luho nila. Disgusting.

      Delete
    5. Oh please, 1:23! Malaking insulto yan.

    6. Im an EXO fan and I just super love their vocals and the music they make and coz they're not a typical kpop group. I also buy albums and other merch so they can stay longer in the industry.1 of the factors for a group to not get disbanded is albums sales, hence fans like me buy those with our own money.

We're not different from any other collectors. Filipinos are just too prejudiced.

      Delete

      Delete
    6. they were saying na fake yung story at mayaman tlga yung family. connected daw sila kay klea pineda na nag.promote pa nung online store nila sa fb. not sure kung ano tlga ang totoo pero mukha ngang problemado tlga yung family na yan and bec of that ayoko na muna bumili ng photocards from them. tama si 12.26, hindi dapat pina.abot sa ganun yung problem nila to the point na ife.feature pa sa tv. they should have resolved it themselves. kawawa yung bata sa totoo lang. and yung sa snatching incidents, it just goes to show to things - hindi naging extensive yung research ng kmjs re: merch prices and mababaw din ang level ng understanding ng mga Pinoy. i also doubt na aabot ng 2 M ung merch lalo na kung albums ang photocards lang ung binili.

      Delete
    7. sa totoo lang, yung pagkablur nila ng face sobrang pansin kung sino talaga ang mga tao. pati nga yung tindahan, kung taga dun ka alam mo na agad kung kanino yun. kunwari pa silang confidential at may privacy pero actually the reporters have given away the clue. wala nang bang nagchecheck man lang? especially na minor ang involved. very poor reporting and unethical.

      Delete

They should’ve protected the kid. Now you are crying foul when their identities were exposed? It’s all your fault. Stop blaming it on the fans. Stop the gaslighting. They ended up having a shop sa twitter na nagtrending pa nga. Also, yung enhypen na ticket na pinost eh unused. Talaga ba? If kpop fan ka either you watch the concert or sell it kasi in demand.

No matter how many times kpop fans defend themselves from spending thousands for those photos, it's still crazy levels. Again, PICTURES LANG YAN.

    1. Last year, I asked a teen-aged girl what she wanted me to gift her on her birthday (I find this more efficient than giving gifts that are cute and appreciated but not really used) and she asked for a photocard. P450 isa! Gahd. Since it was well within budget, I bought her a few of those thinking na lang na it would have cost me the same amount whatever gift I gave her but at least those pictures she really asked for and are happy with. Pero yun nga, ako mismo for myself I wouldn't buy those.

Why look down s kpop fans and tag them as crazy? Fyi. Dati pa may card collectors, meron pokemon, NBA cards, etc. so why single out kpop fans for collecting these items?

      Delete

Dahil ba kpop yun collections? Kasi not cool? Baso, plato, halaman, etc. If that makes them happy then why not? Basta gastos responsibly.

      Delete
    5. KPOP ITEMS OR NBA ITEMS, THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE REASONS WHY AN ITEM SHOULD BE EXPENSIVE IS IF IT IS MADE BY AN ARTISAN OR THE MATERIAL USED IS REALLY EXPENSIVE OR RARE LIKE A METEOR ROCK THAT HIT THE EARTH MILLIONS OF YEARS AGO OR SOMETHING. THOSE SIMPLE PHOTOS OF OPPAS AND UNNIES ARE JUST NOT IT....

      Delete
    12. 10:52 legit sellers talaga oo pero it doesnt mean na rare mga benta nila or what.

  37. Those kpop fans really worship those plastic korean celebs. I refuse to call them the "I" word because that is very wrong to call someone who is also human like you. Yeah, deny all you want but buying a small photo, bringing them to restaurants or wherever and posting it online with captions "I'm here in somewhere eating with sweet baby oppa..." is clearly obsessive levels.
A lot of them also claim that those korean singers save them from their depression which is also very wrong. How can someone who doesn't even know you exist save you? Through their music? NO. THEY ONLY WANT YOU TO BUY THEIR SONGS/ALBUMS. SAVING YOU IT'S JUST AN ILLUSION BECAUSE THEY DON'T EVEN WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND IN REAL LIFE.

    ReplyDelete

    1. well, you are just underestimating the power of music in general. hindi naman sa kpop nagsimula ung mga instances na ganyan. maybe it's their tactic. pero kung positive naman ang naging outcome in the long run, fair enough. kung nega, then something has to be done. wag naman tayong hasty generalization porket sumikat sila at nasanay tayo for so long na Western ang basehan natin ng halos lahat ng standards.

    4. I speak the truth. Those kpop celebs did not save you from depression, YOU SAVED YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO BE SAVED. Those kpop celebs don't even want to shake hands with you, be photographed with you or give you their autographs if you happen to see them in public but you really think they saved you and other fans from depression? THINK ABOUT IT REALLY HARD.

    5. Just like worshipping other western artists, athletes, politicians, man made Gods, money, other stuff. They're all the same. All of us have enthusiasms that make yoh happy, and AS LONG AS YOU SPEND YOUR OWN HARD EARNED MONEY, regardless if you buy someone, who does not know you, a house a lot, other people should STFU. Stans dont mean ' idols saving from depression' literally. It means the happiness that these idols and their music brought them has saved fans from sadness, from depression. There's nothing wrong on obsessing with other people, YOU JUST HAVE TO KNOW YOUR LIMITs, and do not be a h*p*crite like some of the commenters in here.

When they broke up, he was so depressed he couldn't eat for days. The extreme stans os a mental illness, an addiction to an illusion. The idols and their companies though are successfulnin one thing - taking most of his money, putting him in debt, and almost losing his relationships. Common sense leaves the window when fandom madness hits. Its heartbreaking and difficult to watch it happen.

    9. Can you say the same to someone who said "this book changed my life/saved me?" this comment reeks of prejudice. Art can be in many forms, it can affect people differently, and yes it can change and save people. Your comment is not only prejudiced AF but also ignorant AF. "You saved yourself because you wanted to be saved." My god, do you even understand the concept of influence? Have you ever been inspired or moved by something? Or are you a cardboard with no feelings or empathy? Honestly there's no point talking to you

    11. Idolatry is the selfish sin of substitution in which we devote ourselves to worship something or someone in the place of God. It is foremost a sin of a covetous heart that leads us to desire more than what God provides, and to trust something or someone lesser than God to satisfy our wants and needs.

again, iyong iba kasiyahan na nila or collection na nila iyon if afford, why not di ba

Malamang hindi lahat narereport dun and the police might not take it seriously, hindi naman madaming nakakaalam na expensive ang merch. It seems odd, bakit sa KMJS sila lalapit?ganu kadami ba ang na-snatch? is it the entire collection or just a piece of that collection. Something is amiss with the story. Kulang ang pag-uulat ng KMJS. They can go deeper.

    1. 12:31, di ba kayo na rin ang nagsabi na alam na ng buong Pilipinas ang price ng merch kaya yung mga kawatan pinapatulan na rin yung photo cards? according to you, something is amiss with the story? you think kmjs will satisfy your thirst? we don't know. lumapit na lang kayo (tutal million kayo di ba) sa ibang channels and sa mga kpop fan lawyers/vloggers para marinig side niyo kung kulang ang pag-uulat ng kmjs. you can't control everything and everyone. you definitely can't control media coz they've been there for decades. they are not perfect but they know what they're doing. you think enough yung mag-ingay kayo sa social media?

Walang financial value kasi accessible and affordable. Unlike luxury shoes, bags, clothes, and antiques na magagamit mo na pwede mo pa ibenta sa mas mataas na halaga at mapapakinabangan pa.

      Delete
    4. 4:09 If you think these are accessible you are delusional. Anyway, there's no point explaining the concept of collecting to a close-minded non-collector.

At umabot man ng 100k yun binilhin talaga, dahil legit international basketball superstars nga anteh!

Mas mahal pa kasi ang mga pc than their albums. Just saying.

PS. Not sure kung ginagawa parin ng mga company but during 2009's may libreng photocard pagbumili ka ng album nila. I do have photocard of leeteuk (suju) nung bumili ako ng 4th album nila.

    7. these idols are musicians, entertainers, same as those people in athletics. Magkakpareho lang ang mga yan. they are all humans who make other human beings happy. Wala tayong pake kung gaano pinakahahalahan ng mga tao ang iniidolo nila mapa sports or entertainment man yan. Everyone of us have something that we are passionate about. Huwag tayong hipokrito.

    9. 8.19 this is what I don't get with Asians in general. They cry no to racism but racist sa kapwa nila Asian and still think of Western people as Gods. Mapa-Pinoy, Koreano, and even some Singaporeans ganyan.

And the faniky's story is susp. And mababaw or not. It's passion. Same as other's addiction to bags, toys, plants, or western artists.

  48. I hope KMJS also feature all fundraisings and other projects that Kpop fans do to help society. Hindi yung ganito lang na side. Marami ang responsible fans. I'm in my 40s, married, with a stable job and I collect merch that I like and yung photo cards nakakatuwa naman especially if you get your fave but I don't intentionally collect, kung ano lang ang kasama sa merch. It's something everyone cannot understand unless you're a Kpop fan. Parang yung collectors lang din yan ng Magic or NBA cards but ofcourse, walang issue sa kanila, sa Kpop fans lang meron. Why?! Personally, I also don't understand those who are into PCs so much but to each his own. As long as wala namang nasasagasaan yung collectors and fans, ano bang problema? Hindi niyo naman pera ang ginagastos and they can do anything with their hard earned money.

This Bea issue is unfortunate. True or not, they exposed the teenager to online shaming and bullying, pati buong family nila. A lot of kpop shops actually offered help to sell Bea's merchandise but withdrew their support after doubts on the story surfaced. Tapos ngayon biglang may pa-legal ek-ek pa itong KMJS. 🤷‍♀️

    4. 4:44 re: projects featured, that's good to know. I just think these projects need to be highlighted too. During the height of the pandemic ang daming projects rin. Parang nadi-demonize lang kasi yung whole kpop fans. There are so many toxic fans din naman kasi but not all.
