Last time I watched EB was early 2000. Nasa College pa ako. Yung mga panahon na muntik mahulog pustiso ni Allan K 😂, Janno chuchay tandem, lalalalala ni Bossing and Jose, kapogian ni Paolo. Ngayon pag nakikita ko saglit ang EB ang boring na lalo na mga female hosts parang si Ryzza lang at Maine ang bagay doon. I hope they won’t ax the show. TVJ is EB and vice versa.
Eat Bulaga stood the test of time. I agree with rebranding such as new format, new pakulo but should retain those original members who are considered pillars. Yes agree they are corny but they are roots and not just flowers on the show.
I’m 50 and I grew up watching EB. I still like watching though not on a daily basis. My 14 yr old kid surprisingly like EB more than ST. Guess EB is one show that transcends across generations.

Excuse me 7:27 but Julia was one of the reliable female hosts of EB. Julia, Pia (even if I don’t like her personally), Maine, Toni (tho I don’t like her recently), Ryzza —magagaling sila na hosts for me
julia and ruby opted to leave EB for personal reasons. ruby dahil sa condition ng son nya and to live with her daughter in the US while julia needed to move to malaysia dahil aa work ng husband nya. not so sure with jimmy tho. christine jacob, toni rose gayda, ruby and julia c are my all time fave female host ng EB. sana makahanap ulet ng ganyang mga caliber ng host, yung malakas ang charm at hatak sa masa. so far, miles seems to be a good fit magaan panoodin.

After nung AlDub era, wala na. Sure madalas offensive ang comedy ni Vice ganun din naman si Tito at Joey, mas malala pa nga kung minsan. Kaya TAPE really need to step up sobrang dinosaur na ng format ng show nila.

Wala nang kinang sadly ang Eat Bulaga. May social media na ngayon, halos lahat ng mga pasikat ng bagets dun na ginagawa.
Naubusan na sila ng mga ideas at concepts para maging relevant sa mga bata kaya hindi na nag aapply yung mission vision nila na hangga't may bata may Eat Bulaga. Very boomer na din ng humor nila.
Kaya pala ginagaya ng kabila, hindi n rin naman active hosts ang TVJ, my transition na talaga ang EB na ipasa na sa JOWAPAO ang show paunti unti. Still entertaining although hit or miss ang Bawal Judgemental

Tito lost relevance. Vic seems bored. Joey is grumpy old man. Time to retire TVJ and Eat Bulaga. Replace it with a youth oriented variety show. Kakasawa puro game shows at pakontests na every lunch hour eh.
In fairness sa GMA, hindi nila tinatanggal kahit thunders na ha. Remember yung GMA Supershow ni Kuya Germs na pinalitan ng SOP dahil biglang sibol ang ASAP noon? Sobrang corny na kaya nilipat na lang sa midnight slot. Siguro time na para ilagay sa ibang slot ang Eat Bulaga.
I haven't watched EAT BULAGA for how many years. Pero kung totoong si Willie Revillame ang ipapalit sa kanila better na ishutdown na lang ang tv show. For sure lalong babagsak ang show na yan kung si Willie ang Maghahandle at baka walang advertisers na pumasok. Ayaw ko man kanila Tito Sotto at Joey De Leon pero sila ang mukha ng Eat Bulaga sa loob ng 43 years.
Eat Bulaga got it second wind through Aldub. It went downhill after the Aldub fever dissipated. Mga ilang taon na lang siguro itatagal ng show na yan. The main hosts (TVJ) are already too old. The producers should retire it with a bang on its 45th anniversary.
Nanginvite na nga si Joey for the 50th anniversary, hosts may come and go but the show will continue on. Paretire na rin tvj, ipapasa na sa jowapao. Need lang siguro ng new segments.
I grew up watching EB. I must admit that their segments now cannot sustain viewers dahil sobrang boring na nung iba. I miss TVJ hosting daily and I miss jowapao with their baranggay segments noon na sobrang nakakatawa. EB is known for their rapport with the audience, the filipino people. hindi sila pang online kelangan nila talaga to interact face to face sa mga tao uli para bumalik ang sigla ng show
Instead of overhauling the EB show? TAPE should terminate EB show lang sana and let TVJ carry the show's name since everyone knew that it was Joey de Leon's concept. Ibigay nalang with or without its legal rights on paper.
Since the new Chairman has the authority to make changes to TAPE production and has no plan to keep EB as it is? They can co-partner with Wil Production and let Willie Revillame replace the EB show with WOWOWIN if rumors were true.
In my opinion, there may be a possibility of a legal dispute with EB's branding name who owns it, Sana maayos ito.
If TVJ has no legal means of owning the EB branding? the Chairman of the said production has the whole right to terminate, reformat, and choose new hosts for the show.
Also, if JOWAPAO will be kept being its main host replacing TVJ, would it be easy for them to accept that offer for the Bossing hosts they look up to? JOWAPAO may be scorned by TVJ supporters for a lack of gratitude in that sense.
Will JOWAPAO give their loyalty to go and work with TVJ?
So , slI just found out na si Romeo Jalosjos daw talaga ang owner ng TAPE since it was founded . He was friends with Tony and gave him shares. However, Tony is the one directly communicating with TVJ kaya siya yung tinitingalang mentor . If Rome J. is the one paying for TVJ although most of the work na ngayon on tv is JOWAPAO yung gumagawa . I think it’s also unfair to Jowapao na mas malaki pa sahod ng TVJ. Tapos sila din yung may most ambag. In business point of view , may punto nga naman si RJ to axe TVJ . Kase nga it looks like hindi na sila ang main hosts.
Sa Isang interview nun nagsuggest ang host kay Sir Joey De Leon na I registered nya yung Eat Bulaga since sya nakaisip ng pangalan. Ewan ko lang kung. Ginawa nya kasi kahit lumipat sila, they can use the name

ReplyDeleteIn fairness sa GMA, hindi nila tinatanggal kahit thunders na ha. Remember yung GMA Supershow ni Kuya Germs na pinalitan ng SOP dahil biglang sibol ang ASAP noon? Sobrang corny na kaya nilipat na lang sa midnight slot. Siguro time na para ilagay sa ibang slot ang Eat Bulaga.

DeleteI haven't watched EAT BULAGA for how many years. Pero kung totoong si Willie Revillame ang ipapalit sa kanila better na ishutdown na lang ang tv show. For sure lalong babagsak ang show na yan kung si Willie ang Maghahandle at baka walang advertisers na pumasok. Ayaw ko man kanila Tito Sotto at Joey De Leon pero sila ang mukha ng Eat Bulaga sa loob ng 43 years.

Mga ilang taon na lang siguro itatagal ng show na yan.
The main hosts (TVJ) are already too old.
The producers should retire it with a bang on its 45th anniversary.
Nanginvite na nga si Joey for the 50th anniversary, hosts may come and go but the show will continue on. Paretire na rin tvj, ipapasa na sa jowapao. Need lang siguro ng new segments.
DeleteI grew up watching EB. I must admit that their segments now cannot sustain viewers dahil sobrang boring na nung iba. I miss TVJ hosting daily and I miss jowapao with their baranggay segments noon na sobrang nakakatawa. EB is known for their rapport with the audience, the filipino people. hindi sila pang online kelangan nila talaga to interact face to face sa mga tao uli para bumalik ang sigla ng show

ReplyDeleteInstead of overhauling the EB show? TAPE should terminate EB show lang sana and let TVJ carry the show's name since everyone knew that it was Joey de Leon's concept. Ibigay nalang with or without its legal rights on paper.
Since the new Chairman has the authority to make changes to TAPE production and has no plan to keep EB as it is?
They can co-partner with Wil Production and let Willie Revillame replace the EB show with WOWOWIN if rumors were true.
In my opinion, there may be a possibility of a legal dispute with EB's branding name who owns it, Sana maayos ito.
If TVJ were employed by TAPE and was payed by the company to create the EB concept, then TAPE has the rights for EB and anything that goes with it.
DeleteIf TVJ has no legal means of owning the EB branding? the Chairman of the said production has the whole right to terminate, reformat, and choose new hosts for the show.
DeleteAlso, if JOWAPAO will be kept being its main host replacing TVJ, would it be easy for them to accept that offer for the Bossing hosts they look up to?
JOWAPAO may be scorned by TVJ supporters for a lack of gratitude in that sense.
Will JOWAPAO give their loyalty to go and work with TVJ?

So , slI just found out na si Romeo Jalosjos daw talaga ang owner ng TAPE since it was founded . He was friends with Tony and gave him shares. However, Tony is the one directly communicating with TVJ kaya siya yung tinitingalang mentor . If Rome J. is the one paying for TVJ although most of the work na ngayon on tv is JOWAPAO yung gumagawa . I think it’s also unfair to Jowapao na mas malaki pa sahod ng TVJ. Tapos sila din yung may most ambag. In business point of view , may punto nga naman si RJ to axe TVJ . Kase nga it looks like hindi na sila ang main hosts.

ReplyDeleteYuck naman Willie Revillame? Nilalait jyo EB hosts pero Willie gusto nyong ipalit? Mas malinaw pa magsalita 5yr old kong anak. Boring EB eh ni minsan di ako natawa kay Will. Galit lang kayo sa EB pero yang alternative na iniisip nyo baka 1yr lang itagal. Masyadong nagmamadaling tumibag ng institusyon, di naman solid yung ipapalit. Mas sayang. Imbes na makahikayat ng new supporters, inantagonize nyo mga die hard fans nyo sa pagtanggal sa tvj
