Please don’t be so quick to blame the poor guards. They only have the access cards for the elevators and not the keys to the unit. My guess is… someone (ex-W?) left the keys with the Leasing Dept. in the same bldg.? When you have a vacant unit and you’re looking to have it rented out, you can avail of the services of the brokers of their Leasing Dept. Just leave a spare key with their authorized brokers so they can show it to prospective tenants. They can open the units any time they want for “viewing”. But what we did, we made sure to submit an inventory list of the furniture/items + photos to make sure nothing will be stolen. Also, we do not unannounced visits to our unit on weekdays.

Condo owner here pero wala ako sa Pinas. Better talaga mag sign up kayo to be notified by MERALCO about your electric bill. Wag nyong iasa sa caretaker/property management. Pwedeng ang caretaker magbabayad pero dapat may notification ka ring matatanggap kasi dyan mo malalaman if may gumagamit sa unit mo kasi syimpre gagamit yan sila ng kuryente. Pag may changes sa bill mo alam mo na agad.
