agree! and it's their children, parang mas alam pa ng mga marites pano maglaro and gaano ka-behave anak nila iya. i don't get how people would judge other people right away on how they do things na para bang parte sila ng buhay ng pinapakailaman nila. iba iba naman tayo ng karanasan sa buhay and it doesnt mean na if it works for them then it'll work for other people too. hayay
Safety ang concern to the point na your almost invalidating the parent’s decision. Nakakainis yung nagsabi na it’s not about trust, it’s about precaution na kala mo siya yung tunay na ina ng mga bata. It’s okay to be concerned pero wag naman yung aasta kang makarunungan pa sa totoong nanay at may ari ng bahay! Wag paladesisyon.
Ako din ma bother when i saw the haouse. Double deck is a no-no for me. Dami nakong nabasa at napanuod na naaksidente and eventually died dahil nahulog sa bed..especially she has young kids..but sabi naman nya props lang for the photos..so bahala sila
Dami tlgang pakialamerong pinoy. Sa tingin nyo ba hindi nila pinag isipan or na consider and safety ng mga anak nila. At dun sa commenter na kesyo ung iba can’t afford house like that so kasalanan nina iya na they can?!
Secondly, celebrity family sila. Malaki ang mundo nila.
8:22 AM - Exactly, bahala sila. Their kids, their lifestyle, their choices. They have resources you don't have so some of your concerns may not be theirs because they have resources to address these concerns of yours.
Not exactly pakilamero or pakilamera. I am pretty sure Iya and Drew knew they will earn backlask on this. But apparently kasi, most Filipino's now na nagpapagawa ng bahay get their ideas and concept sa mga celebrity homes. If Iya and Drew are doing this to promote their architect, contractor and ID, then medyo selective clients lang din makukuha nila. Mala " I trust my kids, bahala na si yaya magbantay dyan, basta maganda bahay ko" kind of people. But if normal people na meron pera and just wants a house that serves it purpose as a home, then hindi ko kukunin yun contractor and architect niya.
i think they call it "tiny" because Drew & Iya both grew up in much larger houses when they were children, & it's "tiny" compared to other celebrity houses in that area (kramers/pokwang). the floor area may be only 48sq but i bet the land area is 100sq,
As an architect myself... shock din ako sa design at location ng napping area at deck bed. Napaka delikado, and as a mother of 3 boys myself.. napaka delikado. Accident is accident kahit napaka ingat mo sa mga bata
1210, totally agree. I was shocked since as a parent, first thing we check is if the interior of your house is child friendly. Oh well, it’s their house, not mine.
They don't know the danger in that yet.
Agree. Also annoying how she says her kids are “behaved” and won’t get into accidents. Haha. Accidents could happen in split seconds. And you can’t predict it by having or not having “behaved” kids
I noticed that too... since they showcased their home naman for everyone to see .. the hallway with cabinet and windows that can be easily accessed same as the bed bunks.. and the trampoline near the cement fence.. may video pa sya na talon ng talon dun...
Feel ko sponsored eto house na eto. Like it was given as an xdeal when they are building their home to market the architect and contractor. The architect probably wants something unconventional and he match the personality of his client to his/her perspective. Drawings submitted probably doesn't look like this initially and they probably made something in between out of the space they had. Nagmukhabg showroom rather than a home. Sure this is a nice tiny house. But not for daily basis.
I trust my kids enough not to climb" designed for kids my arse.
As a mom myself, I understand she wants to trust her kids. But kids are kids. They’re adventurous and more oftentimes unpredictable.
Kids are often taken for granted by their own adults. They are clever. They know and will find ways to explore in the most unconventional way. Popcorn anyone?
The house is tiny at 48sqm. If your house is smaller than that, sorry to say, sadly micro mini nga. This is a rest house for them lang. How can you live in a shoebox.
Maliit nga kasi yung lupa namin 200 sqm pero parang sobra liit pa rin for us. Kanya kanya trip yan parang yung iba hugis kotse o pabor bahay.
Kakaka kaba nga yung bedroom masikip at konting harutan lang or kahit nga masagi habang tuma takbo out of balance pwede mahulog, Anyway buhay nila yan LOL
Hindi lang habulan na mahulog e. Yun mauntog lang sa glass na may tulakan delikado na to beging with. So yeah... So tanggapin nalang daw niya. Charot
Anong pinagsasabi nyang alam ng bata kung tatalon or hindi and trust nya sila? They're kids! Like everything else, judgement and critical thinking skills are learned and is not like reflexes na automatic andun na. I get she wants her kids to be empowed blah blah blah but it's a matter of safety. Parang railings ng stairs alam naman natin hindi safe tumalon but its there there for us to hold on to to stabilize ourselves when walking so we don't slip and at the same time harang sya to protect us from falling. And then ittest naman daw nila. So hihintayin nyang may masaktan bago lagyan ng safety features? Sadly common sense isn't so common.
Aesthetic over comfort. Ay nahulog. Okay we'll change the stairs.
May kaibigan ako 4 yung anak ranging from toddler to teenager at lahat kasama pa rin nila matulog.
Oy i co sleep with my daughters ha. Sayang kasi kuryente pag naka isa isa pa ang aircon hehe. So isang room lang pag tulugan kaya sulit ang aircon namin
I still co sleep with my children on some weekends. Parang sleepover type. It is fun naman to do so para kayong isang barangay sa isang kuwarto. Gulo gulo pero masaya. Nothing wrong on doing it for as long as freely ng bata gustong gawin.
My only issue here is it's not a tiny house. Yes some of the concept and design sabi nya were lifted from tiny houses, but it's not a tiny house so don't call it that
Kids has the ability to do things adults often took for granted. They are tiny creatures who are smarter than us. So yeah, pwede buksan. Unless ipa-seal mo permanently, which defeats the purpose of it as a "window".
yes. most parents are. and since nagpost sila sa ig nila at naka public at artista sila meaning dapat open kadin sa opinion. kng ayaw eh close mo un comments lol
Yes very. May baby gates sa stairs, bed rails (nahulog na baby ko as an infant buti nung gumulong sya nahulog din yung pillow at yun sumalo sa kanya), cover sa mga outlets, cushion sa edge ng tables and locks sa cabinet na may chemicals. Malikot si baby and malingat lang ako meron syang inaakyat, binubuksan, sinusundot, sinusubo, etc. Isa lang sya and she's very dear to us and I'm not taking any chances.
Regardless kung kid-friendly or not man 'yung bahay ng mga commenter it doesn't make invalidate their point na 'di child-friendly ang bahay nila Iya. Kitid ng utak mo
Safe as we can freely move around the house without constantly shouting " be careful and no running on the stairs, no pushing, no jumping on the bed" for nth time. Hope this answer your sarcastic question.
Omg mga commenter kala mo naman pera nila ginastos to build the house! I think they’re plan is remodel it when its appropriate for their kids’ age.. lahat ng kids nila are in the playful stage and she’s right about the 2nd floor being a nap/resting area like designated place lng sya and we’re in no place to judge how their kids are.. they’re probably playful but very disciplined kids otherwise d nman siguro iririsk yung safety ng kids para lng sa design ng house.
Mga pakialamera talaga! May safety safety pang nalalaman. Unsafe din yun, in many aspects. This is really just jealousy disguised as "concern for safety". Leave d family alone.
Hahahaha… pero honestly, it’s their life, their choices. Bigla2 kasi may bubulaga sayo na gagawin nilang ikakaloka mo talaga, based on experience to.
This one.
Wag kayo pakialamara! But for me ang OA lang ni Iya para tawagin na tiny house yan. Medyo insensitive sa part nya.
Small House (international standard) is around 100-200sqm. Tiny House (international standard) is less than a “small house” area. It can go from 10sqm and up.
You know, kids are smarter than what adults sometimes think. You can trust them based on how YOU (as the parent) raise them and know them.
I trust MY child not to touch the fan and still do. But that doesn’t mean you will have the same trust to my own child for so many reasons. Let’s respect one another. Kung magkaiba tayo, let it be. Huwag makialam.
Well I read that this house will be up for airbnb. Are you both willing to take the risk of availing their home vacation for a "peaceful rest and stay?". "be careful sa stairs" at magbilang tyo ilang beses niyo sasabihin.
- mom of three with no yaya who prefers comfort over aesthetics. Masarap magkape peacefully and enjoy the view with your kids.
Parang ang nakalagay is based on and inspired BY THE DESIGN AND FUNCTION of tiny houses.
She mentioned in the comments saying it’s indeed just a tiny house kasi 48sqm lang yung bahay mismo. The house itself is small. 1st house namin was only 48sqm as well. pagpasok mo ng main door sala kusina na combined. The only division was of course sa room & cr no 2nd floor. Masikip talaga. 😅
If you read her entire caption they are gonna rent it out like an AirBnB.
Then as a mother if market niya ang family to rent their house, I will not avail that. Sure akong aani ng bad reviews yan sa airbnb because of its layout. Nope. - from an airbnb host with two units that is fully safe for kids and family
May point namn yung commenter about sa safety.
Heller, safety is big issue. A toddler boy fell from balcony in Serendra Condo 😡 😭. Kaka- Freak out Open windows, with table cabinet ---Kids could climb onto.. OMG. Female Architect, designer, n Mother-- heller!! Oist gising. Prevent tragic accidents n Cover crazy Windows with Steel grills please!!!!!!!
Maraming accident na nasa news it’s because of the window issues. If that works for her then let it be.
I know that boy. He was a classmate of my inaanaks. Yes, the mom did not anticipate that and his yaya, just a matter of split seconds. He took a chair and climbed the balcony in Serenda. Such a poor soul. :(
Nope, not safe at all. Just for aesthetics. Parang showroom yun bahay nila. Sure, I respect her in terms of she trust her kids. Okay anak mo yan, but you have to make sure that your place as well is trustworthy.
So ang market ni Iya sa airbnb is family of 5 or 6. Two adults and 3 kids or 4 kids. Parang ganoon. Kasi walang space for the yaya to sleep if you have one, walang room for senior citizen, so kung family gatherings eto, literal na kainan lang then the rest of the guests can just go home to their own house kasi walang ibang tutulugan. So in short isa siya "GIANT PLAYGROUND".
kaloka andaming pakelamerong pinoy hahahaha
ReplyDeleteValid naman point ni commenter. Mali lang pagtawag sakanya na irresponsible.
DeleteSafety ang concern nila. They make sensible points naman na some features of the house are not kid-friendly considering they have 4 kids
Deleteagree! and it's their children, parang mas alam pa ng mga marites pano maglaro and gaano ka-behave anak nila iya. i don't get how people would judge other people right away on how they do things na para bang parte sila ng buhay ng pinapakailaman nila. iba iba naman tayo ng karanasan sa buhay and it doesnt mean na if it works for them then it'll work for other people too. hayay

DeleteStill not technically a tiny house in all aspects of the concept. Just refrain from calling it that.
ReplyDeleteAlam mo na, it's the elitist in them that's talking.

DeleteTiny house is less than 100 sqm.
DeleteLot is big not 100sqm. That is probably around 200-220sqm. If the house 48sqm, what is the floor area then?
DeleteAno ba yan, why do I sound like asking a math problem HAHAHAH

ReplyDeleteMej out of touch din to si Iya, hindi ganyan ang tiny house sa Tiny House Nation. 😅
ReplyDeleteAgree. Mas applicable ang weekend home. Maliit yes but not tiny.
DeleteConsiderable pa ito if 1 lang anak mo kayang-kayang bantayan. But 4 kids? Naahh this is so irresponsible.
Hahahaha I just can't...

ReplyDeleteSaw the link in FB pero katamad iopen. Excited pa ko ng check ng ig nya then i saw the "tiny house"..ah okay.. quiet na lang aketch.
DeleteSobrang weird ng nasa labas ang toilet. E diba she potty trained her kids. LOL.
DeleteSakit sa mata, andaming emoji. Jejemon din pala itong si Iya
ReplyDeleteShe was trying to conceal na hindi siya offended kapag too much emoji ang messages. Not authentic yun sinasabi niya. Galawan ng mga napahiya yan.

ReplyDeleteHindi naman siguro. When they're ready magsasabi naman yan although yung age ng readiness na yan subjective.
DeleteMay kaibigan ako 4 yung anak ranging from toddler to teenager at lahat kasama pa rin nila matulog.
Oy i co sleep with my daughters ha. Sayang kasi kuryente pag naka isa isa pa ang aircon hehe. So isang room lang pag tulugan kaya sulit ang aircon namin
DeleteI still co sleep with my children on some weekends. Parang sleepover type. It is fun naman to do so para kayong isang barangay sa isang kuwarto. Gulo gulo pero masaya. Nothing wrong on doing it for as long as freely ng bata gustong gawin.
DeleteMy only issue here is it's not a tiny house. Yes some of the concept and design sabi nya were lifted from tiny houses, but it's not a tiny house so don't call it that
Pwede nya tawagin kahit Ano gusto nya.
Delete11:35 ganon ba yun, sige, I now my declare my house as a palace, bigger than Buckingham palace
Juskoday. May tendency mahulog pa sa stairs pag gising in the middle of the night.
DeleteTrue!
DeleteAt pwede rin buksan di ba?
DeleteKids has the ability to do things adults often took for granted. They are tiny creatures who are smarter than us. So yeah, pwede buksan. Unless ipa-seal mo permanently, which defeats the purpose of it as a "window".
ReplyDeleteyes. most parents are. and since nagpost sila sa ig nila at naka public at artista sila meaning dapat open kadin sa opinion. kng ayaw eh close mo un comments lol
DeleteYes very. May baby gates sa stairs, bed rails (nahulog na baby ko as an infant buti nung gumulong sya nahulog din yung pillow at yun sumalo sa kanya), cover sa mga outlets, cushion sa edge ng tables and locks sa cabinet na may chemicals.
DeleteMalikot si baby and malingat lang ako meron syang inaakyat, binubuksan, sinusundot, sinusubo, etc. Isa lang sya and she's very dear to us and I'm not taking any chances.
Regardless kung kid-friendly or not man 'yung bahay ng mga commenter it doesn't make invalidate their point na 'di child-friendly ang bahay nila Iya. Kitid ng utak mo
DeleteThis!!
DeleteSafe as we can freely move around the house without constantly shouting " be careful and no running on the stairs, no pushing, no jumping on the bed" for nth time. Hope this answer your sarcastic question.
DeleteOmg mga commenter kala mo naman pera nila ginastos to build the house!
ReplyDeleteMga pakialamera talaga!
ReplyDeleteNakakatakot talaga yung concept ng room with the bed close to the window na walang grill
ReplyDeleteParang ang sarap maglaro sa bahay nila.
ReplyDeleteto be honest, hindi maganda. not smart ang design and spacing. sayang.
ReplyDeleteThis one.
DeleteI think hindi iyan ang buong kabuuan ng haws nila, at I'm sure din na kinunsider din nila ang safety ng mga bata kase wala namang magulang ang hindi priority ang safety ng mga anak lalo na kung maliliit pa. let them be kung ano gusto nilang dream house and let's have a good wish na lang for them, cguro naman kung tyo din magpapatayo ng haws na according sa gusto natin wala din naman magagawa yung iba kung ganung style ang gusto natin di ba? baka mali lang pagkakavideo parang pataas galing ang video kaya parang unsafe lang sa tingin natin or whatever, isa lang alam ko lahat yan eh tinayo.ng base din sa standard ng building permits at di naman pipitsugin ang mga architects.and construction company ang naghandle nyan. so happy for Iya dahil napagawa na sila ng haws ng ayon sa gusto nila.
ReplyDeleteSusko bahay nila yan pake nyo ba.
ReplyDeleteMatatauhan lang tong si Iya pag may
ReplyDeleteNahulog na sa mga anak nya. Wag naman sana. Wrong window type and placement . bad feng shui din.
Wag kayo pakialamara! But for me ang OA lang ni Iya para tawagin na tiny house yan. Medyo insensitive sa part nya.
ReplyDeleteSmall House (international standard) is around 100-200sqm.
ReplyDeleteTiny House (international standard) is less than a “small house” area.
DeleteNote:
Isa ko anak may special needs.
Well I read that this house will be up for airbnb. Are you both willing to take the risk of availing their home vacation for a "peaceful rest and stay?". "be careful sa stairs" at magbilang tyo ilang beses niyo sasabihin.
Delete- mom of three with no yaya who prefers comfort over aesthetics. Masarap magkape peacefully and enjoy the view with your kids.
Parang ang nakalagay is based on and inspired BY THE DESIGN AND FUNCTION of tiny houses.
ReplyDeletemeron baks sinabi niya tiny house
DeleteShe mentioned in the comments saying it’s indeed just a tiny house kasi 48sqm lang yung bahay mismo. The house itself is small. 1st house namin was only 48sqm as well. pagpasok mo ng main door sala kusina na combined. The only division was of course sa room & cr no 2nd floor. Masikip talaga. 😅
DeleteShe keeps referring to it as tiny in a previous video.
Delete11:22 baks ikaw ata ang may issue. pauliy ulit ngang tawagin nya na tiny house eh
DeleteHindi kasi nila titirahan yang bahay na yan! If you read her entire caption they are gonna rent it out like an AirBnB.
Safety issues
DeleteThen as a mother if market niya ang family to rent their house, I will not avail that. Sure akong aani ng bad reviews yan sa airbnb because of its layout. Nope. - from an airbnb host with two units that is fully safe for kids and family
DeleteCute ng house (exterior). Parang house lang sa Sims hahaha
ReplyDeleteAng kukulit. Di nga nila titirahan. Kaloka! For rent daw soon kaya tinetest nila.
Sarap pag dami kang money to construct a playhouse just for your kids. huhu
ReplyDeletewag daw mangialam... 'di dapat nila nilabas sa public para walang nagco-comment for sure gusto rin naman nila yang attention na yan good or bad man
ReplyDeleteMay point namn yung commenter about sa safety.
ReplyDeleteako nga wala akong anak natakot ako dun sa glass panels sa stairs. and honestly may double deck kami before and kids have in fact fallen kahit may bar
ReplyDeleteHeller, safety is big issue. A toddler boy fell from balcony in Serendra Condo 😡 😭. Kaka- Freak out Open windows, with table cabinet ---Kids could climb onto.. OMG. Female Architect, designer, n Mother-- heller!! Oist gising. Prevent tragic accidents n Cover crazy Windows with Steel grills please!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMaraming accident na nasa news it’s because of the window issues. If that works for her then let it be.
DeleteI know that boy. He was a classmate of my inaanaks. Yes, the mom did not anticipate that and his yaya, just a matter of split seconds. He took a chair and climbed the balcony in Serenda. Such a poor soul. :(
DeleteHappy go lucky si Iya at Drew. And they like to keep on breeding hahaha. Tayo'y pawang spectators lang.
ReplyDeleteNope, not safe at all. Just for aesthetics. Parang showroom yun bahay nila. Sure, I respect her in terms of she trust her kids. Okay anak mo yan, but you have to make sure that your place as well is trustworthy.
ReplyDeleteSo ang market ni Iya sa airbnb is family of 5 or 6.
ReplyDeleteMAG ACTIVE FUN NALANG AKO DAI!
