  2. Matanda na siya for Ibarra role. Kung babasahin ang book, Crisostomo was around early 20s. Dennis Trillo was also old for the role buti nlng may pagka baby face siya at magaling sa acting kaya nairaos niya.

    1. Hindi naman sya ganun katanda itsura. Feeling ko naman madadala nya yung 20s role

  3. Piolo was never a good actor, iisa lang lagi portrayal niya.

  7. Dennis Trillo and Julie Ann San Jose are the best actor and actress who have played the characters of Ibarra and Maria Clara, ever. These two have big shoes to fill in.

    1. 8:19 Kalma ka lang. There are no shoes that they need to fill in. Ibarra is a musical restaging of Kanser, a straight play that drew references from Jose Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere.

    2. I agree. Super galing nila Dennis and Julie. MCAI the best tv series. Pato c Barbie, super galing din.

    3. @8:19 AM Oa, masyado. Hahaha.

    4. 8:19 I've never seen maria clara at ibarra, so I'm asking out of curiosity. Does MCAI really have a better cast than the miniseries from 1992? Cause that series has a superb cast.

    5. Hands down to Dennis and Julie. Napakahusay na mga artista.

    6. 8:19 Baks, I watched Joel Torre as Crisostomo Ibarra in an old Noli series sa youtube. Magagaling sila. Eddie Romero ba naman ang direktor.

    7. 10:44 i watched both. MCAI cast was decent, the every actor in main cast was allowed to shine and they did! the miniseries had great cast too but it was boring bordering documentary. MCAI was a combination of great cast, great director and writers, superb cinematography, beautiful costumes, great lighting, perfect musical scoring which made it so successful— the cast was icing on the cake.

    1. Not everyone watches free tv, pwede ba. May ibang audience ang theater. Maka none other than. Wala kayong paki kung may ibang gustong magportray. In the first place, hindi naman talaga kayo ang audience

      Delete
    2. May audience din na nanonood both tv and theatre kaya wag ka!

      Delete
    3. 10:53 and the fact that you were so quick to bash here para maiangat ang precious mcai niyo proves hindi kayo yun.

      Delete
    4. 10:53 Nah, I don't think so. If ever meron man, hindi MCAI ang pinapanood nila.

      Delete

So why now after ng success ng MCAI biglang may paganito. Timely kasi kakatapos lang ng very successful TV series, lakas maka-bandwagon.

  16. I hope GMA does GomBurZa.

  17. kung totoo ito...for me, sana hwag nalang ituloy. sa ngayon kasi yung hype ng pag ganap ni dennis at julie ang nakatatak sa isipan ko o natin at sa lahat ng nag mahal sa MCaI...maybe sa 2024 baka pwede na..lol! eh kc di ba,ang galing naman talaga ni dennis, julie and the rest of the cast dun sa series..#mcisepanx

      Delete
    3. Hindi sa GMA, kung hindi sa mga nakakaraming nanonood nito all over the world. Kakatapos lang din kasi ng MCAI. Of course, maikokompara talaga ang performance nila kina Dennis and Julie na syang tunay na nagmarka.

      Delete

    5. 10:57 I'm sure na yung viewers ng MCAI eh hindi manonood sa teatro kaya walang chance to compare. If MCAI actors and actresses can stage a musical and still make a mark, then yung talaga ang nakakabilib.

      Delete

May gulay!

      Delete

May vegetable!

  20. Andaming tard dito ng MCAI. Hehe

Kase sikat MCAI now? The design is very BANDWAGON.

  22. Maria Clara at Ibarbie

Jusko kayo!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Musical yan! May babayarang ticket.

  26. Ah Noli Me Tangere Musical

    ReplyDelete
Obvious namang hindi kayo theater goers based on your comments kaya wag masyadong affected

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
HAHA

  28. Sa June pa yata yan ipapalabas as musical so ok lang

    ReplyDelete
  29. 90s kids alam na every year may play ang florante at laura for sophomore, noli for junior and el fili for seniors required manuod kasi gagawa ka reaction paper

    ReplyDelete
  30. Rizal’s works have been staged, re-staged all the time. In fact, we saw Noli Me Tangere opera here in NYC which was also shown in the Philippines a few years ago. Also, planning for stage plays/operas/musicals take a long time. And the target audience is different for each art form. MCAI just reached a wider audience which is good for history. But it is not the ‘original’ adaptation of Noli or Fili. I’m sure ‘Ybarra’ on stage has no time-travel, as did the original book.

    ReplyDelete

    Musical premiered in 1995
    1st CCP Revival 2005
    2nd CCP Revival 2011
Musical to debut in Los Angeles 2014

  33. Sorry po alam kong di lahat sasangayon at alam kong this is for Theater pero pag sinabing Crisostomo Ibarra si Dennis Trillo na ang napipicture ko in my mind gaya ng pag si Jose Rizal ay si Cesar Montano at si Papa Jesus ay si Matt Ranillo III dahil sa mga film/show nila na napanood ko

    1. Huwag masyadong insecure, tard.

  34. Mga walang alam sa play mga gen z yan millennials know na every year sa high school required manood ng play, florante sa 2nd year, noli sa 3rd year at el fili naman sa 4th year kasi yan ang inaaral per year may reaction paper pa after manuod ng play.
