Pero at least nag settle sila ng viva na she will have more control over what projects she makes. So it wasn’t a complete loss and she’s happier with her contract. And now you have her blockbuster deleter. Minsan kelangan lumaban to get what you want.

ReplyDeleteIncidentally, I saw Ms. Soberano's free-wheeling take on the MAYA ad campaign. My opinion: it was ill-conceived and too far off from what a bank must be in the face of how a highly vigilant and social media savvy public are NOW. Why in the world has MAYA approved of Ms. Soberano's appropriation of certain (violent) images in the guise of her "creative" impulses? The general concept is, to me, totally out of touch and irrelevant.

DeleteLife isn't fair and for every choice there's a tradeoff. No such thing absolute freedom. Even the Kardashians, to reach that level of fame and fortune, work with a team that curates what they wear, what they say in interviews, what they post in social media, all in the service of the brand. In the world of entertainment, fans buy into the fantasy because reality is boring and stressful. That's the reason why brand/image management is important when building up a star. It's not so much a "cage" but the tradeoffs that come with the lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteLiza's rebranding and relaunch were poorly executed. Her words, while "authentic" to her, revealed her hidden resentments rather than gratitude. It's strange that she would self sabotage that way, and seem clueless about how to nurture relationships in the entertainment industry even after being an actress for more than a decade.
Very well said! You can clearly see how bad of a management she is with. Too much freedom for the artist to do anything under their care without realizing the harm it would inflict into Liza's career.

My verdict? Ang gulo ng lines, kung hindi pa nabanggit na Maya at nakita ko ang logo ng Maya, aakalain kong hindi ito Ad ni Paymaya. Liza Vlog lang, na presenting her dream roles.
Hope everything will pass and reconcile soon… L needs to reach out to her previous mgt to explain herself. Avoid to use Social platform for the meantime until everything’s okay… L still needs to learn to express herself in a way people understand.. she is just starting to communicate and express her thoughts yet… she is kind and people around her can attest that… just give her time…
