Glen Close is a superb actress with 8 acting nominations with zero wins. Wala syang kinalaman kay Dolly I know, but you can get the grip if you know what I mean.

I think the reason kung bakit may backlash is bc her film, Triangle of Sadness, had three noms in the 3 major categories for film. So for her to not make it in and the film did, despite being a frontrunner, it will really slap you in the face.
But how many great performances have been snubbed in our lifetime? Sana Dolly wont waste her time doing damage control. OA din kasi ang pag hype sa kanya sa online. Wala sa lugar na minsan lahat ng critics accounts e may pangalan ni Dolly. Thats why we cant have good things.

She's not being bashed for being nominated. She is being bashed bc Pinoy (in particular) fans are almost harassing critics and awards related twitter accounts for not nominating her. Kaya sya ang binabash kasi it's like "well cant you control your fans?"

Madami ng na-snub ang Academy Awards na deserving naman. Si Leo D nga naging meme for a while yung finally naging best actor niya after over a decade of Oscar’s snubs. I feel disappointed for her but that doesn’t take away Dolly’s talent.
