ReplyDeleteYou can't deny the fact na may filipino blood sya so keep your opinion to yourself
DeleteI know right?? Kakasuka.. khit sino kahit 1/4 pinoy pa yan sasabihing pinoy pride! Jusko!
DeleteWhat’s wrong with that? I have a daughter that is half American too,
Nothing against Celeste just saying.
But Im happy na she look back kung saan sya galing. Wag na bitter if may na po proud sa kanya. Masaya nga un eh. Kasi dito nde masyado ramdam.
So i rooted for spain and USA. Bleh
DeleteThis is the kind of validation filipinos want lol. And btw, today is a national holiday in the u.s. americans are celebrating this win😂 #firstworld
ReplyDeleteHahaha sarcasm! Today is Sunday sa US sa mga gullible
DeleteDid that comment made you feel superior?
Deleteactually bukas pa ang national holiday - jan. 16 is martin luther king day. teka, nasa US ka ba talaga?
Deleteproud for both, though i tend to agree, better kung italy na lang ang ni-represent ni celeste. she could pass for full italian.
Your attitude is as gross as those Filipinos on social media who will claim Pinoy Pride.
Deletewhat you just said just reflect how negative and sad your life is... you must be feeling good on raining on someone else parade.. pathetic...
Delete10:30 it's Martin Luther King day tomorrow what are you talking about?
DeleteLoosen up 217. I don't like the bashing celeste is getting na kesyo di naman dw pinay blah blah. And then now that the winner is half pinay, #pinoypride kaagad? I'm def not proud of my kapwa pinoys' hypocrisy and you obviously didn't get my sarcasm lol.
Delete10:30 cornball.
Deleteare you just taking a day off without knowing what it really is about?
134anon you're that kind of person that disgust me. So now she can pass for a full italian bec what? She didn't win? Lolol. So Pia and Catriona look more filipinos now bec they won the crown?! Wooooooowwww
Delete3:10 kalma lang, that was meant as a compliment. sheesh,
DeleteAng puso mo 3:10pm. And look at the pot, calling the kettle black with “you disgust me”. Get off your high horse!
Lol. Buti nanalo at least di masyado masakit.
DeleteMiss USA is beauty, brains and good attitude. May sense.
ReplyDeleteRare nalang yung Mas mukang pinoy pag mix usual kasi na nakikita pag ang mother Ay Pinay Mas nakukuha ang sa foreign na tatay in her case tatay nya ang pinoy which is rare din like Liza s. but in the likes of shay Mitchell and Nicole S. na both pinay ang moms palakasan ng genes ganon lol
DeleteNicole S. dad is actually Filipino.
DeleteTrue. Mas baluktot pa ngang magtagalog si Catriona
DeleteGood job rbonney
ReplyDeleteMiss Texas panlang Muss U na sha. Kaya dedma sa controversila miss UsA win. She is a natural. Kahit walang glam team, q and a team, nitebook , life coach etc panalonito.
She may be a half Filipina but the fact na she represents USA, it’s not our victory.
DeleteFilipinos from the US can celebrate her though. Nothing wrong with that. Most of her supporters ay Fil-Am naman like her.
DeleteTantanan nyo nga kaka-complain nyo about her being half-pinay. She's even the one telling Filipinos to be happy that someone who is half pinay like her won. SHe wants us and Fil-ams to relate to her. May mali ba dun?
She's going to be a spokesperson for that eh papano magkaka-impact kung iisnob ng mga pinoy na kalahi natin sya? Mag-isip nga kayo!
Konting lahi na pinagsasabi mo dyan 1:29, half pinay sya gaya ng mga “konting lahi” na nagrepresent ng Pilipinas at nanalo ng Miss Universe na sina Pia at Catriona. so bat nagpuputok ang buchi nyo dahil hindi pinas ang narepresent? aren’t you proud that she represented US, a half pinay representing US! not ashamed to acknowledge that she’s indeed half pinay and taking home the crown! ewan ko sa inyo but im proud of her and Im rejoicing her win!
DeleteIt’s a proud moment & a major win lalo na sa Fil-Ams in the USA. Hindi man sa titulo nakalagay ang pangalan ng Pilipinas pero nananalaytay sa dugo niya ang pagka-Pilipina & you can never change that. It’s a win for the Philippines as much as it’s a win for the USA.
DeleteInaangkin na naman ng mga pinoy jusko
ReplyDeleteHindi pang-akin ang tawag dun. They're just happy.
Daddy's girl kasi at madalas sa Pilipinas even planned on moving to Manila noong 2020. As in Texas days palang.
ReplyDeleteMukhang real din nman ang advocacy nya kaya I give her that. Still, not really proud of her kasi Amerakana nman kasi sya kaya ibigay nyo na sa US ang victory nya. Wag ng makisawsaw ang mga Pinoy.
DeleteFrom the very start, she was my bet. She’s very smart kase and has deep pinoy roots. From the food she eats, her values, she has a big pinoy family in the US. She attends pinoy events in the US. It just so happens her parents live in the US tsaka US citizen sya. Alangan nman pinas ang irepresent nya. But she is proud of her filipino roots.
DeleteWell then reserve those judgements to mixed Filipinos who are ashamed of having Filipino blood but not R'Bonney who is proud of her pinoy father because you're embarrassing her and her Filipino relatives by bashing pinoy netizens who are acknowledging her.
DeleteUnited States of the Philippines
ReplyDeleteOk na ba ?!
yes fil am sya. but sana respect celeste's effort and wag laging nakikiride on sa fil am na di nman pinas ang nirepresent
ReplyDeleteTrue
DeleteShe maybe half pinay but she grew up in the States and joined the pageant in the States. To me that’s admirable... she joined where her home country is but still proud of her roots and can even speak a few words of our own language. This girl really knows hardwork and grit. Well- deserved win! Hopefully others who are half-half will follow her lead... if you live abroad and don’t speak our language or hardly know our culture and you’re not really that willing—— join the competition in your home country. I find it more authentic that way... exception of course if you really plan to learn the culture and language...
DeleteAgree 100%.
DeleteAGREE. More authentic if you join in the country where you live, born or grow up.
DeleteShe deserves the crown! After all those controversies, she proved she is the real queen -
ReplyDeleteAt least marunong may tagalog, haha
ReplyDeletei believe deserve ni R'Bonney na manalo as Miss Universe 2022.napaka-eloquent niya magsalita. you really want to listen to her when she speaks. hindi masakit sa tenga na pakinggan siya. at nagamit niya iyon transformational leader sa answer niya na tagline, i think, ng Miss Universe 2022. napanood ko din iyon prescon after ng Miss U, nasabi ni R'Bonney dahil blue iyon crown, she decided to wear a blue evening dress. so i think it's R'Bonney's destiny to win.
ReplyDeleteProud moment din for Filipino designer Rian Fernandez who made both her prelims and finals gown.Shes a fashion designer herself pero she made the right choice in choosing a Filipino designer. Both gowns were phenomenal.
DeleteLove Celeste's gowns too.Sky blue is her color.Celestial beauty talaga.
Dasurv ni accla
ReplyDeletePaano ipronounce name nya? Btw dasurve nga una ko palang ndinig sagot nya mabilis sya sumagot at detalydo filipino pala sya.
ReplyDelete“erbony” ang pagpronounce.
Deletei like her. also j-lo na kim kardashian ang looks niya. bago niyo ako ibash, i meant that in a good way. gandara! ✌️
Aaaaw congratulations R’Bonney ❤️ rooted for you.
ReplyDeleteI remember Australians claiming Cat when she won MU though so its not just filipinos
The stars aligned for her.
ReplyDeleteIt’s Martin Luther King, U S Holiday - 1/16.
ReplyDeleteWell deserved. She has a leader aura. And when she speaks, people listens. Whole package. Very smart. An accomplished woman. She was actually my bet from the time she won miss usa. But i wanted celest to be atleast on the semi finals.
ReplyDeleteShe was raised more of filipino way kase. The food she loves are pinoy foods. She also mentioned on one of her past interviews that she has lots of pinoy relatives in texas compared to mom’s relatives na konti lang. And she also attends filipino events in texas.
They speak some tagalog but understand tagalog fully well. And they are so filipino in every way like the food they eat, during occassions/events lagi sila present din mingling with a lot of pinoys.
ReplyDeleteCeleste may have the Philippines sash on but her heart was not there while Ms. USA was so proud of her Filipino blood competing sa Ms. USA pa lang
DeleteI’ve watched some of her interviews after she won miss usa. And she always speaks about anything pinoy. It just comes out even if the interviewer was not asking. I can say she were raised filipino way.
Dami nyo kuda hahah. Hirap pasayahin.
ReplyDeletemay scoop sa reddit na mas support pa siya ng Filipinos kesa Ms USA org kasi at that time may issue doon. So she took her own measurements, designed her gowns & had it make here (materials & labor) Her parents flew to PH just weeks before MU prelims to get the gowns.
ReplyDeleteYes baks, yung parents nya ang kumuha ng mga boxes nya here in fp. May issue kasi yung pagkapanalo nya. But sa true lang, she deserves the crown. Ang galing nya kumuda and very pretty.
ReplyDeleteGood for her! The first fil-am
ReplyDeleteMiss Texas and first Asian Miss USA. The gate keeping in these comments are gross. Filipinos don’t all live in the Philippines, and people are allowed to celebrate their heritage and identify with their roots in any way they want.
Thank you! Malaki ang Filipino community abroad & yes we’re very proud of our roots!
DeleteShe’s the first Asian Miss Texas USA and first Filipino American Miss USA. She’s the fourth Asian American Miss USA.
DeleteI have Latina friends who are from Peru and Argentina. Every time merong Latina na nag-e-excel, proud sila like JLo and Shakira who are Puerto Rican and Colombia and nagperform sa Superbowl. They are celebrating them. Even Jenna Ortega na Puerto Rican-Mexican descent, sobrang saya ng Peruvian friend ko kasi she feels represented daw sa Hollywood. Credit grabbing ba yun? Toxic Latin pride ba yun? She herself is proud of her heritage. She honors her Filipino roots and celebrate it. Ans she is very vocal to advocate for Asian (Filipino) Americans. Yun palang nakakaproud na.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations.
Deletemahismasmasan saan?! ano at saan kami dapat mahimasmasan? lol
Delete
