Clarification po: Ibang category ang best actress from best supporting actress. Best supporting actresses are valued by award giving bodies just like best actress. Matuto pa tayo maging kuntento.
11:56 ang role po ay depende sa film. You can't be nominated for a best actress role if yung role mo eh supporting lang. So probably the best thing to say is that hopefully she gets more and better roles and hoping din that these roles are the ones na bida sya.
Actually, yan din sabi ng friend ko na nakapanuod na ng wakanda. Puro sigaw lang daw ginawa ni Angela. I haven't seen wakanda yet kaya di ako sure kung exaggerated lang yung comment or true hehe
Watched Dolly’s performance and nothing spectacular about it, yung ending lang ang exceptional. The movie itself started so good tapos pumangit ng pumangit then bawi ulit sa ending.
Congrats! Wish she was nominated for an Oscar, kaya lang may politics involved din kasi sa Academy Awards and may campaigns at palakasan din na kailangan para manominate.
Watched her being interviewed by Karen Davila where she talked about the moments where she almost gave up on acting.. mga one-liner roles lang binibigay sa kanya like doctor, judge, lawyer etc.. tapos nakikita nya ung mga may lead roles late dumating, bored pa sa set na parang napipilitan lang umarte, di inaaral ung script.. naintriga tuloy ako kung sino hehehe
Sana bigyan pa siya ng roles dito ngayon though malamang may offers sa Hollywood pero di naman lagi yun. Kailangan din niya ng support ng industry. Si Jaclyn Jose di ba di naman talaga umalagwa internationally after Cannes Best actress pero tinadtad siya ng projects dito kaya kumita sana si Ms. Dolly din. For sure magaling talaga yan, mata pa lang lakas na.
