I suggest you read former PM Lee Kuan Yew’s books. In one of his books he mentioned that Marcos sent someone (I think it was Ver if I remember correctly) to take a loan from SG but SG did not lend the money because the economy of the Philippines was so bad that they were sure that loan repayment was impossible. Take note, si former PM LKY yun - he does not care about politics in the Philippines and all that happened before Cory was even voted into power.

Her credentials are very good and she speaks eloquently especially during F days. I used to admire her. But unfortunately, despite doing works with Unicef, hindi pa rin nya talaga matanggal sa pagkatao nya ang pagiging apologist at enabler despite being married to PP na super anti Marcos.
