Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo happily announced yesterday that she is now a legal resident of Spain after making a real estate investment of at least 500,000 euros (approximately P30 million) in an apartment in Madrid.
Bea looked radiant and refreshed as she and Alden Richards arrived in Cebu City to promote Start-Up PH which will have its last few episodes in December.
The actress said she just came from long vacation in Europe and the highlight is her getting the Golden Visa, a loose term for the Spanish Government’s Residency by Investment (RBI) program.
“Galing ako sa isang mahabang bakasyon. 26 days, almost a month. Kakauwi ko lang this week from Europe. The reason why I went there was because I wanted to get my Golden Visa to Spain, so am now a resident of Spain,” Bea revealed.
As a Spain resident, Bea is not required to stay in Spain but she can travel visa- free through the Schengen area of the European Union. This benefit can extend to her mom, Mary Anne.
Bea can also work in the continent and apply for citizenship after two years.
“Yung Spanish government kasi, if you have a certain amount to invest sa real property nila, you will be granted a Golden Visa which means you are automatically a resident. After two years, you can apply for citizenship which am not gonna of course, but, at least, there is that option,” Bea narrated.
“I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of living abroad. But not because I already have a place there doesn’t mean doon ako titira. Of course, am gonna live here (Philippines). It just so happened that I love Madrid, I love Spain and I have a lot of friends there,” the actress added.
We asked Bea if she is interested to work in Europe as an actress and she said she can consider it “but it’s not something I’ll be actively pursuing.”
“Parang ilan lang ang oras. 365 days lang sa isang taon. Wala na akong oras,” the busy actress replied, laughing
Bea admitted that travelling is her “guilty pleasure,” it is how she unwinds.
“You’re working on yourself because you’re always a work in progress. So when you travel, you expand your horizons, you discover so many things about the world and, therefore, you can see the world from a different perspective. It’s also about working on myself and my mental health,” she noted.
Happy for the blessings that Bea has received and continues to enjoy. She deserves it for all her hard work. Nakakatuwa lang din na in all that she does and in her decisions, she takes into consideration her family and consults her mom.
ReplyDeleteWhy does she keep saying “am gonna” ? Is she aware na mali sya?
DeleteParang it aint lang yan..
DeleteAM GONNA is correct, it's saying, "I am going to". What's wrong is, I'LL GONNA, cos that's you'll going to--should be "I'll go to". Wala lang bat nangingialam lol
DeleteHello? It’s correct. It’s conversational english pa so duh?
Delete“I’M GONNA…” is correct!
Delete- - - Pinay-blooded born in the USA
dear, its correct po. Most Americans use that as part of their language contraction. Ibig sabihin kaya hindi natin sila naiintindihan kasi slang english sila pagnagsasalita at informal English din ang tawag nila diyan which is acceptable. duh. may mapuna lang.
DeleteMadam Maricris Zobel recently had a " You're - Your" booboo on Tita Smalls post. Will you correct her? My point is - pansin ko lang pag Alta nagkamistake, it goes unnoticed. Pero pag formerly poor, daming gusto mag correct.
Delete"I'm gonna" is correct. What's wrong with you?
DeleteWell ke tama o mali siya which is im sure hindi naman mali, the fact is may bahay siya sa Spain ikaw , waleyyyy ๐
Char!
Delete3:34 oh my gosh you’re right!
DeleteGrabe mapapa sana all ka nalang. May project, rancho, bahay sa spain, resident pa.. Travel travel, endorsement, may jowa, at stable ang pamilya. NAOL
ReplyDeleteHay naol
DeleteMatatapos din yan hahaha
Delete10:31 ikaw nga hindi pa nagumpisa, sows
DeletePeace of mind kaya meron?
DeleteDUAL CITIZENSHIP is advisable para unlimited stay w/o penalty.
DeleteKahit Di na uy ! Basta May pera ka easy peasy nlng pag labas masok per country.
DeleteAcla walang penalty penalty kung “resident” ka hanggang kelan mo gusto, kahit sampung taon straight. Unli rice yan acla.
DeleteWow. My jaw dropped.
ReplyDeleteInspiring ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
ReplyDeleteFor an actor, mura lang pala ang real estate dun. 30 million pesos is just a piece of cake so any A-lister actor can do.
ReplyDeleteTrue. 30 million madali lang kitain yan for someone like Bea Alonzo.
DeleteAtleast yang 30M. I believe her apartment costs more than 30M esp pupunuin pa niya yun ng gamit and all.
DeleteIf you have $1.8m to invest you automatically qualifies for a green card.
Delete1:08 that’s just an investor’s visa. You still have to wait for the green card. The US also grants ‘genius visas’ to gifted & talented people who excels in their fields ( artists, athletes, scientists, actors). Ms. Gina Alajar got this among others. And yes, “I’m gonna or I am gonna is short form/slang for I am going to”. So it is acceptable informal grammar.
Deleteyes like what aiai delas alas did
DeleteAfter being granted investors visa in the US, you get the green card after 3 weeks mailed to your address. Also granted social security number about the same, but this is just via email.
Delete30 million is just the tax the some of the top celebrity taxpayers pay in 1 year.
ReplyDeleteYakang yaka nya pa to get more bongga
OA sa isang endorsement. Lol . Exag naman
DeleteETO NA NAMAN SI 12:03…
Deletehirap tumanggap ng katotohanan!
Gulat ka no 12:03.
DeleteGrabe yung 30M ๐ฑ Billionaire na din siguro si Bea. Congrats B!
ReplyDeleteNot to brag but to inspire pero bragging tlaga lol
ReplyDelete11:17 baks wala tayo magagawa dun. Ganun talaga. Life is unfair..Charot..
Pang inggit, pikit. ๐
DeleteKami nainspire. Problema mo na yun kung nayabangan ka. Tinanong siya sinabi nya ang dahilan.
DeleteI didn’t find it bragging.
DeleteI'd rather hear this than bragging about expensive jewelries and bags
Delete11:17 try changing your perspective in life for a change. The way you perceive things will make a big difference.
DeleteI think if you're a celebrity t's ok to brag kasi lam nmn ng tao na you can afford... kaya keri lang ako sa mga ganyan actually natutuwa p ako kasi napapa sana ol ako at somehow prang naiisip ko ang sarap nmn. ang yko ung nga politicians na nag popost ng ganyan kasi i know mostly where their money came from.
DeleteBRAGGING??? Eh totoo namang kasing blessed sya, noh?!
DeleteSharing of info is part of our culture. Pag hindi shinare, sasabihin swapang. Pag private, sasabihin papansin. Pag shinare ng bongga, walang class. She earned it, if you dont like her "bragging" then dont click or watch. Simples. Curiosity kills the cat kasi mga marites haha
Delete12.06 agree. because it's a WISE investment compared to bags
DeleteAgree with 12:47, major celebrities are public figures and you can estimate kung gaano kalaki ang kinikita nila based sa movies, tv series, endorsements nila especially yung matagal na sa showbiz.
DeleteSamanatalang ang mga politiko, kahit alam mo kung ano exactly ang salary grades nila for how many years in service, hindi mo maiconnect kung paano nakapagpundar ng expensive properties and luxury items, naka-afford ng expensive vacations ng pamilya abroad at nakapagsimula ng iba't ibang businesses na may conflict of interest sa government posts nila.
This is worth bragging for... I want her to keep bragging her real estate investments so that young people, and others will follow her lead. Imbes na branded clothes at bag atupagin, lupa and real estate muna... Kung may extra, then bags or other luho na...
DeleteDami investment n B. Is she the richest among her peers? Seems so
ReplyDeleterichest self made yung walang na inherit from rich parents, no affiliations or connections from well known personalities from the start either business or politics, and no nepotism of some sort
DeleteHer peers ba are angel, angelica and anne Curtis?
DeleteDi natin masabi yan, bec angelica and anne don't show their properties that much
Angel locsin showed some of her investment in Boracay e and in bulacan and Quezon
Is it really bragging? Pretty sure interviewer asked how much she spent for the real estate. And what she described isn't at all unique but offered by other countries too like Canada where you can apply for citizenship and undergo a faster process if you apply as an investor. Sana all because these are the kinds of opportunity not accessible to all but I honestly don't see how this is humble bragging. Her answers were very as a matter of fact.
ReplyDeleteKudos din kay Madam M for taking care of Bea’s investments and guiding her on where to put her money. She does not take advantage of Bea
ReplyDeletemagaling tlg si shirley k. wversince she handled bea, although walang naraming tv or movie projects, non stop ang endorsements. that's where the money is. every week ata nay bgong endorsement. i guess do it tlg while you still can and invest. magaling si shirley mag manage pero kudos to bea and her accountant at advisers kasi they're handling her money well.
ReplyDeleteSALUTE & ENCORE TO SHIRLEY K!!!
Deleteshe has no big projects aince moving to shirley, yang money nya from abs-cbm pa rin sya.
Deletejosko tlgang lht na lng b ng achievement ng tao isisingit nyo network? may nag question b qbout dun?? the point was a lot of actors pagnagpapalit ng mgmt, lumalanlam ang kita kasi wala kagad psng masyadong movies or serye. shirley was able yo sustain bea's bank acct by non stop endorsements.
Delete@12:45 if under starmagic si Bea may part ng kita nya nakaipon sa management. So malamang nun umalis sya dun nakuha nya ung mga pera nya na naipon. So yes, kita pa din nya mostly from abs ang investments nya.
Deletewhy so defensive? there was nothing that said Shirley made Bea famous, or made her into a premium star. 12:45 merely stated that shirley brought bea tons of new endorsements since she took over and she's a great manager. both are true so what's the issue?
Delete2022 na 2.48. loyalty is overrated.
Delete4:25 PM - when your husband/boyfriend/wife/girlfriend cheat on you, let's see if you still believe loyalty is overrated haha
Bea is being bashed dahil lumipat sa GMA, kesyo wala daw loyalty sa ABS. Iba kasi yun.
DeleteMga alaga ni Mr.M,first few batches talaga naka-focus as artista & they have a rule to save portion of their earnings para di ubos agad & of course talagang mataas ang premium nila
ReplyDeleteWow.
DeleteFYI : Spain launched its golden visa programme in 2013. An investment of €500,000 in real estate will gain family residency. The Spanish investor visa can be renewed every two years. After five years it is possible to gain permanent residency and after ten years citizenship. It is not necessary to live in Spain in order to retain and renew the residency visa permit
ReplyDeleteFor filipino citizens, since we used to be a colony, they can grant citizenship after two years.
DeleteI wish I was rich enough to buy a property abroad, like in Spain or most preferably Portugal and be granted citizenship afterwards. Hays! ๐
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Bea.
Ako din sa Portugal!! Pareho tayo..libre mangarap hehehe
DeleteCongrats Bea๐๐๐very inspiring... Dreams do come true basta pagsikapan
ReplyDeleteSo much blessings for Queen BEA Alonzo. at patuloy pa rin. Sobrang bait at mapagmahal sa magulang Sa pamilya. Fans. Friends kaya pinagpala
ReplyDeleteSelfmade woman๐๐๐Congrats B,, more blessings to come๐๐๐
ReplyDeleteBlessings after blessings. May lovelife na, may real estate pa. How to be you, Ms. Bea? Iba talaga pag walang tinatapakang tao. Congratulations!
ReplyDeletewow bea..laban kung laban haha
ReplyDeleteThank U to Mr M
Susyal.
ReplyDeleteBlessed bea
ReplyDeleteGusto ko gayahin ito for the golden passport
ReplyDeleteGolden visa baks, not golden passport. Lol.
DeleteTalagang Money-wise and Busines-minded sya, hindi nya hahayaang walang papasok na pera, hindi pwedeng pa out lang lahat ng kaperahan nya nung mawalan ng franchise ang mother network nya, kaya nga lumipat sya agad, a business-wise decision, kung hindi sya lumipat, tengga ang goal nyang ito. And she dreaded that thought.
