Yun sinabi nya abt catriona, opinion nya yun. And totoo naman na during that time d naman tlga maganda katawan ni cat e. She also apologized to Cat in case d mo alam.
Fyi that isnt an opinion. Thats bashing and making fun of someone already. May bet kasi silang iba. Her and Bea Santiago were bullying Catriona bec of her body. And now, look what has happened to both of them. And i also think pinoys now are outspoken, too much actually it’s borderline complaining on everything.
She just out her opinion, wala siyang sinabi kundi may mas magagandang katawan pa kesa kay catriona, whichis totoo nmn.
Pinoys normally don't like when other people are being prangka or brutally honest with them. Pinoys prefer that you sugar coat the words na sasabihin mo.
11.21 I think it's not the dislike on honesty or dislike on frankness. It's the inability to take constructive criticism that's why people on here say dapat putulan ng internet yong isang tao. They want other people to shut up. They have tyranny in them. To me just because someone has no point it doesn't mean na dapat tanggalin na yong freedom of speech niya.
We are wired that way. We’ve been colonized too long that we have colonialism mentality. This is evident in BPO companies. Foreign bosses or counterpart are very upfront and frank but Filipino employees just bow down and follow their whims even if unreasonable na. Filipino bosses work to impress their foreign counterparts kaya ang tindi ng SLAs ng BPOs.
That is so true.
Ive been in 2 countries for a training for a bpo companies. Why? Because we allowed them to do that to us
Kahit sa ibang culture sasabihin don't air your dirty laundry in the public.
But you are also afraid because can’t even come back to the Philippines and visit your family. It’s easy to be brave to speak and act when you’re far away. Get off your privileged high horse.
Ayun in the end yun sinumbong ko nagkatotoo balik si friend sa akin para mag sorry. It may have vindicated me pero na stress ako sa mga pangaaway nila. I told myself I'll never say anything anymore to a person who isn't asking or who is so bilib sa mga manloloko. I also need to save myself and my peace of mind.
Ganun talaga pag pinoy, in my case family keneme naman kinall-out ko kapatid kong may anak na naka sampa pala ang kuryente sa bahay na tinayo ko sa pilipinas, since di man ako parati dun (i live abroad) nalaman laman ko neto lang na nglagay pa din pala ng aircon at my expense! parents ko nalang cargo ko, hindi na sila inaway ko asawa nya at sya at sinabihan kong lumayas nalang kau kung ayaw nyogn mgkabit ng sariling kwentador... tas parang ako na ang masama kasi pinalagan ko lang??? NKKLK talaga..
Pinoys being intrusive is limited to families. From experience, foreigners are more aloof to family issues or personal issues. . They hustle and dont have time to reach out whilst Pinoys nga have all the time na makialam.
It depends on the her definition of speaking up and action. Broadcasting everything is different. Marami naman nag i “speak up and act” na di brinibroadcast kaso minsan justice in ph is being served only to those who have money.
Phils culture is very democratic..just listen to the noise around you maggie..in the streets, in the buses/jeeps, in divisoria, in the squatter area even in the streets of europe/america, fil. are so loud and vocal! You’ve been in a cocoon for a long time..get out of that shell!
Di ba lumalki ito sa Saudi? kung doon kaya sya kumuda ng ganyan, baka naman mabago nya ang culture ng Saudi in dealing with outspoken people, both men and women.
there is a proper time, venue, audience, and process for concerns and issues. do not make patol and talak, just report to the authorities or file a case in court.
Filipinos are so used to being subservient to other nationalities, we are used to addressing others by "sir, mam". This could be because we were under the Spanish and American Rule for approx 300 and 50 Years consecutively and were taught to show our respects. Even today, when we see a foreigner, we say sir or mam. Even those who came from the Philippines and work here still address their bosses with a sir and man. Here in the US, it is acceptable to address your bosses by tbeir first name or call them with a Mr/ Mrs/ Miss. there's no need to address them with a Sir. It is also acceptable to state your opinion whether right or wrong. Your superiors will take no offense, unlike in the Philippines where superiors are unapproachable. Its the norm and we Filipinos should start to learn to speak up.
dami mong sinabi about sir, a’am well its not really bad or weird or exclusively Filipino trait at all! Its a sign of respect if we dont really know who we are talking to. Even in Canada we call someone sir or madam if we dont know their names, we use miss as well. It is much better that way.
Filipinos hide behind the shroud of anonymity when they speak up. Why? Because they’re afraid. There’s a culture of impunity sa Pinas. Medyo lumakas na nga ang loob ng iba kasi pwede na magpaTulfo lol Seriously, try coming home, Mags, and face your case. You’ll see what money and influence can do.
Money can't buy class.
ReplyDeleteLuh, don't forget din she called out the exclusive resort bec of their yayas menu lol..may truth naman sa mga sinasabi nya

DeleteMakakita nyo paano nya pinagtawanan yung pobreng beauty pageant contestant
Pinoys normally don't like when other people are being prangka or brutally honest with them. Pinoys prefer that you sugar coat the words na sasabihin mo.
ReplyDeleteYes kaya we’re not moving forward. Di kaya tanggapin harsh truth and not willing to change what they’re accustomed to
DeleteTrue, they hate the guts of brave women.

Delete11:21 this comment
