REGINE under Viva and Nineteen'90 under Vicor record labels are her purest album in my opinion too.
All original compositions yun, walang revival o cover songs. Isama mo na yung LOVE ME AGAIN single released thru OctoArts Records na hindi nya napasikat which was lent to JAMIE RIVERA to revive the song.
Bakit nga pala hindi na released as single yun "LUMISAN KA MAN" theme song from the movie SEPARADA.
Also, "I CAN" na sya ang kumanta hindi yun Krystine na ghost singer sa physical album. Nagamit lang yun version na sya ang kumanta sa radio airplay and tv promotions but not were sold as part of the soundtrack album due to her recording contract exclusivity with Polycosmic Records noong araw.

Matalino na mga tao ngayon, alam na natin na hindi lang puro tungkol sa birit ang pagkanta.
Leah Salonga kept her crystal clear voice kasi she didn't have to scream her tunes. But it's all good Regine was known for that kind of singing style and made fortunes from that.

Her albums full of revival songs spawned others to follow. Yes, she was a trailblaizer, pero dahil diyan, namatay OPM. Wala na halos nagsulat ng mga original songs, lahat na lang kailangan may sarili nilang rendition. No doubt she milked every single note when she was at her prime, pero sana she could have contributed more by singing more original songs.
