    3. 7:23 o bakit defensive ka? Wala naman sinabing masama si 5:16. 🤣

Kailangan lang ng pinoys to make more high quality projects. These kdramas can serve as inspiration pa nga.

  3. Puro puna. At least napansin nung isang senador na may problema. Mali lang solusyon. Tulungan nyo ang local tv/cinema industry. Tagatangkilik lang ho kami

    2. Ay wow! Di ba pwedeng mag-puna? We pay our taxes diligently. It is our right to question inefficiency in the government.

    3. ba't di ba kapuna-puna yung comment nung binoto mo?

    4. matagal na naghihikahos ang phil showbiz. hindi sya ang unang nakapuna. do not give him any credit.

  4. Troot. Dapat kasi gawing inspiration ang Hallyu to do better, they've grown by leaps and bounds in the past decade while the Philippine cinema is still languishing in the rut.

    1. They should be looking at how korea managed to accomplish the hallyu wave instead of banning sh*t. But I'd let it happen, maybe if they piss off the masses enough they'd actually finally put them in jail.

    1. Clash Landing On You sila ni Sen Jinggoy lol

Back to kabit shows ulit kaya nga puro adaptations ang karamihan na shows kasi wala na silang maisip na bago

    3. Feeling ko hanggang ngayon nasa F4 (Taiwanese OG) pa din sya kaya di makarelate hahaha charoot

    3. 1.50 out of pressure daw yun haha! may mga nagpo-protesta daw na conservative na ipagbawal dahil sa violence daw kaya ayun.

      Delete
    4. Yes, 1:50. But I think ma rerevive din yung film at art industry cause I think that's what they attempted to do to cover up how much the country was falling apart then lol.

Happy yarn?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Korean plots are more intelligent.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It's so embarrassing that some of our politicians are coming out, revealing themselves as kdrama fanatics... I really, really hope they're not spending so much more of their time watching those cringey kdramas promoting korea as perfect country and koreans as perfect angels than trying to fix our country... God save the Philippines...

    ReplyDelete
  18. For me, its more than just PH showbiz industry lagging behind...
KOREANS ARE SO RACIST TO FILIPINOS THAT IF MEMBER OF A KPOP GROUP HAS FILIPINO BLOOD, THEY HAVE TO HIDE IT LIKE IT'S SOMETHING SO EMBARRASSING TO THEM. THAT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH REASON TO BAN KDRAMA AND KPOP.
Basahin nyo yung ibang comment defending hallyu...

      Delete
  19. Bigyan niyo kasi ng funding ang ph industry, or give an incentive sa paggawa ng high quality shows. That's what korea did and now they are reaping the benefits. I don't believe people just want to watch white, black, latino, or east asian celebs all the time, of course they would want to see someone who looks like them on TV and to see settings that remind them of their best memories but the shows aren't doing that for them.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I dunno, I feel like if you give ph industry enough support gaganda ang quality. PH shows would definitely not be comparable to east asian dramas esp kdramas but may potential siya to be similar sa dramas ng telemundo or antena tres na kita mo parin na telenovela yung roots but elevated na ng kahit konti.

    ReplyDelete
Yung writers mga graduate talaga ng Creative Writing and the actors and actresses are Film and Theater graduates. Kaya yung nuances ng facial expressions kuhang kuha nila. Even their Kpop stars train for years bago i-debut.

    1. Uhm, correct me if I'm wrong, but the same thing applies to ph screenwriters and actors. They do have the compentency, but the system in place incentivices trash TV to cut costs. Kahit gaano ka pa kagaling if you are cramming to write tomorrow's telenovela episode the night before and you do that every single day for months and months malamang magiging basura at uninspired talaga ang gawa mo.

    2. 7:47 Dito sa Pilipinas connections based lahat.

      Delete
    3. But 11:34, coco had a lot of hands on experience dahil indie actor siya before, and he worked closely with brillante mendoza. Counterproductive lang yung kailangan ng degree, cause it will shut people who don't have the means to get a degree out.

      Delete
Halatang rushed. He was promising as an indie actor pero walang growth at range ang acting. I doubt if nag effort din mag acting workshop over the years. Pag walang inherent talent that is where formal education, workshops and years of training helps. Acquired skill kumbaga.

      Delete
    5. 10:54 you completely missed my point.

      Delete
  22. I mean... Its hard to watch pinoy films without cringing at most of the actors acting huhu yung halatang galing sa "cut" yung scene at dula dulaan levels.

    ReplyDelete
  23. This is on point.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Kahit naman high quality ang isang pinoy movie or show, hindi parin pinapanood ng mga koreaboo. SIla ang problema in that case.
