Hmm, iba kasi ang beauty standards ng mga pinoy sa mga koreano. We prefer sharp/striking features. Koreans like a v shaped jaw, a good side profile, thin lips with a cupid's bow (at mas manipis yung upper vs lower), fair skin, straight nose. The dude above meets most of their criteria so they consider him good looking.
He has the looks naman (if you’re into guys with soft/feminine features) but yeah the hype is too much, he’s overrated. There are a handful k-actors who’s a lot more attractive than he is.
