ReplyDeleteA lot of netizens comment to press charges if indeed she was raped. It's easier said than done. First of all, it's a long and difficult process. Magastos lalo na kung wala kang pambayad sa magaling na abogado. Second, once the court proceedings start, you will have to reenact and relive the moments you were assaulted. It is very traumatic and exhausting. Kaya yung iba, pinapasa-Dios na lang or wait until justice is served to the other victims.

Mine was in his 30s. If your cousin is only eleven back then, perhaps he was also molested or di pa niya talaga alam what he was also doing since he was only eleven.

ReplyDeleteReading most of the comments about this issue, grabe talaga, no wonder rape victim just hide their agony, because of victim blaming at pag invalidate ng mga tao sa claim of rape, narinig ko nga before sa isang atty. that recollecting the events that happened is like being raped again and again. Kaya sana not just because sikat ung isang tao eh invalidate na ung claim ng iba, let the truth prevail then we can judge.
