I remember how she was soooo hated at one point in her life bacause of soneome's death but she maintained her calmness and demeanor truly fit for a queen!
Me, too, 10:34. My daughter just made a comment that she's fortunate to have known a true Queen in her lifetime. Because from here on until the end of her life, it will be a reigning king.
An end of an era... lahat ng major world events na witness/experience nya. From WWII to COVID-19... from the time na radio lang ang means of broadcasting news to the social media of today... she faced it all with dignity and grace.
The ensuing financial depression that affected even the rich people in the UK.
And one of her favorite PM daw ni queen elizabeth si winston churchill because of his humor and wisdom
Girl sino ka para magdikta? It's like saying a person living alone is lonely. Being alone, or living your life for others doesn't mean you've never lived your life. Tatak mo sa utak mo yan.
But someone has to do it. She never wanted to be queen. She was quite contented to be the niece of the monarch. But when the role passed to her, she felt it was her duty. And she performed that duty very well.
I have to agree with 1157. A life being constantly scrutinized by the media isn't easy BUT that is why the Queen is so respected. She truly believed in her calling to lead and she navigated all the crisis during her reign with so much grace, dignity and respect. Anyone who held her position would have been broken down into pieces with all the negative media attention and the weight on her shoulder but this lady remained steadfast. She has got to be one of the most resilient humans I know in my lifetime. Much much RESPECT!
I do not know her personally but my heart goes out with her & her family. She led their country with such honour and dignity. It is so sad we are in this generation to witness this great loss ;(
Her last known photo was actually chilling. She looked so frail and her hands showing bruises. She normally wore gloves except that time, its like preparing people of something worst.
I'm not a Brit pero I cried upon hearing the news kagabi... I've felt something heavy in my chest... its an end to an Era and something i grew up with choz... feelingera ba ako friends? hahahahah bu kidding a side I'm super sad talaga... RIP Queen Elizabeth II you will always be remembered and the Legacy you left behind.
Same sis. This is really something. Super affected din ako. Last year lng ako naging super interested with their family. Glad she didnt suffer before dying. Talagang it’s about time lang, time to follow her hubby.
What's even admirable is she worked and did her duties to the last day. She also didn't seem to suffer from many health issues, most especially dementia that affects many her age. She is that strong and queenly. Truly meant to be a leader. She had done well. It's now time for her to rest.
Having hobbies and an intellectually and socially stimulating lifestyle as you age can help ward cognitive decline and dementia. Masyadong busy at exciting ang lifestyle ni Queen Elizabeth, plus she had her corgis and was breeding horses to keep her active. Old age lang talaga ang kalaban nya.
Rip! She lived a full and extraordinary life. God bless her soul.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of the British monarchy, and the news made me sad! She is like a granny to me 😢💔
DeleteIto ang totoong end of an era.

ReplyDeleteShe lived her life to the fullest.
DeleteShe had an amazing 96 years for sure fill of purpose and luxury

Delete3:14 it’s a comment, walang nangdidikta. ok ka lang?
DeleteRIP Queen🙏
ReplyDeleteGoodbye to this exceptional human being. She is a great loss to the world.
ReplyDeleteWhy do good people have to die while the evil still living. Haay
ReplyDeleteGood and Bad will both die
DeleteCondolences to the family. She served her purpose for a long time.
ReplyDeleteRest now the world famous HRM Queen Elizabeth II. 💐
DeleteIn 4 years she would have received a letter from her, the current monarch. Ganyan ata sa Uk
DeleteYes 3:57 may card sana sya na matatanggap mula sa Queen. Hehe
DeleteUK will never be the same without her 🥹🥹
ReplyDeleteEnd of an era talaga

ReplyDeleteI guess she'll have a special place in everyone's heart. Gone but not forgotten. May she be reunited with her husband!
ReplyDeleteShe reminds me of my grandmother na parang nawalan ng gana to live when my lolo died. Sumunod din sya after 8 months.
ReplyDeleteLondon Bridge has fallen
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Brit pero I cried upon hearing the news kagabi... ReplyDeleteNo you're not feelingera.
DeleteI feel you sis! Naiyak din ako
DeleteSame sis. This is really something. Super affected din ako. Last year lng ako naging super interested with their family. Glad she didnt suffer before dying. Talagang it’s about time lang, time to follow her hubby.
She will be missed
DeleteIts truly the end of an era. For the next generations now, God Save the King na.
ReplyDeleteRIP to the Queen. She served truly well.
ReplyDeleteRIP Queen “Lilibet”… a real class act !
ReplyDeleteRIP 🙏🏻
ReplyDeleteThe last widely beloved monarch. God save the Queen, indeed. She lived her life dutifully for the crown.
ReplyDeleteTough act to follow. May she rest in peace.
The only Queen I have ever known in my entire life..
ReplyDeleteRest in paradise, Queen Elizabeth II👑
ReplyDeleterip po.
ReplyDeleteHer daughter Princess Anne would have made a lovely queen if not for the ancient primogeniture law. She has her mother's qualities.
ReplyDeletecharles really is the eldest son. but next in line to him then was andrew, not anne. but now theyre all far behind.
DeleteMali ka baks 1:03. Si Prince William ang next in line in Charles.
ReplyDeleteWe can no longer use the phrase "Going to London to visit the queen!" Wahhhh. Awkward to use "king" at lalong wag na sa "queen consort". hmpffff
ReplyDeleteWhat's even admirable is she worked and did her duties to the last day. She also didn't seem to suffer from many health issues, most especially dementia that affects many her age. DeleteIto talaga literal na Long Live the Queen
ReplyDeleteTumagal din ang buhay niya
