I’ve seen the original but am open minded and I appreciate this Filipino adaptation. Looks like it is budgeted and well planned. Makikita mo naman sa color grade and cinematography maganda siya at akma yung mga cast. Hope GMA will continue doing this kind of TS whether original or adaptation/remake.

I love na pinagsama si Bea at Yasmien because they can pass as sisters unlike sa original na di mo makita ang resemblance nung magkapatid.

I don't remember exactly but isn't Alden playing the second lead here or are they changing the story?? Sorry to the fans - am I the onlu one who never got the hype over Bea's beauty? Typical mestiza and has this double chin or I dunno fat under her chin that's bothersome. The other girls in the show are more appealing imho. It must be the ABS brand of PR. She can act though and I hear has had massive hits. Maybe I just need to watch her more to understand?

It is is really hard to do adaptations of Kdramas because in Korea, sobrang on point ng casting. Dito kasi mas may weight kung sinong artista yung may hatak na viewership vs kung mabibigyan ng justice yung role. I hope people take the comments constructively kasi magaadaptation na rin lang, sana naman on point ang casting.

actually napu pull off naman ng abs cbn yung remake. diba nga yung world of married keme nabigyan naman nila ng justice, not a tard of any network kasi hindi na ko gumagamit ng tv pero you can really tell na mas may impact at may effort yung mga actors and directors ng abs cbn sa acting skills ng mga artista nila compared gma.

I think based on the looks itself, okay naman as Ate si Yasmien. People just know Bea too long. People know her age and the roles she portrayed before na matured which how people perceive her now. But if you look at them without any background about who they are, you will be convinced that Yasmien is older.

E hindi nga maramdaman kung may sariling IT dept ang govt to automate their systems e. Yung simpleng pag-update lang ng vaccination status, inabot nang buwan ang follow-up namin dahil sa kulang na record ng nanay ko. CGI of Darna is laughable. Kilala ang PH for BPO. Mahirap ang trabaho sa call centers, pero nanghihinayang ako sa iba na ECE graduate or ComSci graduate pero they chose to go into the BPO industry for lack of opportunities sa PH, or dahil mas mataas ang bigayan sa BPO. Either that o magtratrabaho sila sa ibang bansa. If someone here can give a private company in PH which highly invests in technology, baka pwede pa akong maniwala na ang StartUp story ay posibleng mangyari sa Pinas. Kaya sa mga magsasabing “e di wag mong panoorin,” wala naman talaga akong balak. Dun na lang sa iba na makaka-appreciate nyan.
Alden should be really proud. Bea is really an accomplished actress. She’s a big time A-lister, a movie queen and has been recognized in Asia. Alden’s achievements only really are Aldub and her movie with Kath.
Don’t try to diss Alden just to make Bea look good. Fact is, she’s way too old for the role and tama nga ang comments dito, mag tita ang visuals nila ni Alden. Alden, Jeric and even Yasmin looks more youthful and bagay nila yung roles nila.
mas fresh at maganda si Yasmien kesa kay Bea base sa trailer, gets ko na ung sinasabi na tita levels ang aura ni Bea at di bagay sa kanya ang role, kitang kita na mas may edad sya at tita level na ang datingan sa screen, parang nawala na ang kinang ni Bea.
The casting for the support roles seem fitting but the main leads don't suit. If they insist on Bea and Alden, they could've made Alden the teammate and have Dingdong/JL as the mentor. It would've been more interesting and at least Bea wouldn't have looked as old. The two boys are well, BOYS.

Si Yasmin, not as fearless as fiesty ang acting bilang kontrabida, pilit kumbaga she looks nervous and intimidated as well as the other actor. Si Alden kulang pa sa impact pero may i-improve pa. Gma and abs both do terrible jobs at casting for chemistry. Alden and Bea are individually good but there’s zero chemistry! Koreans are very good at casting for chemistry that’s why their dramas do well all over the world.
hindi problema ang akting, di rin problema ang looks, pero pagdating sa chemistry waley na waley e yon pa naman sana ang biggest factor para maging convincing ang dalawang actors esp sa isang love story,
Isa lang masasabi ko sa mga haters na comment ng comment dito. Wag kayo manuod! Obviously, hindi kayo ang target market ng soap na to. Stick to your fave shows sa Netflix. Life is too short to stress on Bea or Alden or any kapuso shows. Kami na bahala sa shows nila ok. We got them!
I've never watched any Korean dramas before, but I did watch a few of our tv series but stopped since migrating to another country, which was almost 20 years, give or take... so I am seeing this from what you can say, "with fresh eyes." And from what I am seeing, so far so good. So, I'd say why not give it a chance, maybe we'll come to appreciate everyone's character and love the series, as well. Being negative and bashing (always) with everything around us is not good for health and for the soul.

ReplyDeleteWow ang yabang ng fans ni bea. Did we watch the same trailer? Si yasmien at alden on point pero si bea at jeric talaga waley. Mukhang mas bata pa si yasmien than bea by far. Pwede ba, ha, wag magyabang because si bea ang naghuhumiyaw na miscast diyan sa show na yan.

Deleteactually napu pull off naman ng abs cbn yung remake. diba nga yung world of married keme nabigyan naman nila ng justice, not a tard of any network kasi hindi na ko gumagamit ng tv pero you can really tell na mas may impact at may effort yung mga actors and directors ng abs cbn sa acting skills ng mga artista nila compared gma.

DeleteI think based on the looks itself, okay naman as Ate si Yasmien. People just know Bea too long. People know her age and the roles she portrayed before na matured which how people perceive her now. But if you look at them without any background about who they are, you will be convinced that Yasmien is older.
ReplyDelete332, agree. Ang mas hindi ako ma-convince e yung relatability ng story in PH setting. Any known PH tech company, and one supporting individuals at that to start their own company? E hindi nga maramdaman kung may sariling IT dept ang govt to automate their systems e. Yung simpleng pag-update lang ng vaccination status, inabot nang buwan ang follow-up namin dahil sa kulang na record ng nanay ko. CGI of Darna is laughable. Kilala ang PH for BPO. Mahirap ang trabaho sa call centers, pero nanghihinayang ako sa iba na ECE graduate or ComSci graduate pero they chose to go into the BPO industry for lack of opportunities sa PH, or dahil mas mataas ang bigayan sa BPO. Either that o magtratrabaho sila sa ibang bansa. If someone here can give a private company in PH which highly invests in technology, baka pwede pa akong maniwala na ang StartUp story ay posibleng mangyari sa Pinas. Kaya sa mga magsasabing “e di wag mong panoorin,” wala naman talaga akong balak. Dun na lang sa iba na makaka-appreciate nyan.

ReplyDeleteThe casting for the support roles seem fitting but the main leads don't suit. If they insist on Bea and Alden, they could've made Alden the teammate and have Dingdong/JL as the mentor. It would've been more interesting and at least Bea wouldn't have looked as old. The two boys are well, BOYS.

Yung tatlo medyo kulang pa. Si Yasmin, not as fearless as fiesty ang acting bilang kontrabida, pilit kumbaga she looks nervous and intimidated as well as the other actor. Si Alden kulang pa sa impact pero may i-improve pa. About the age kung saan lagi tinitira si Bea, parang ok Naman at Hindi ko Makita na matanda, she looks beautiful at fresh sa video, maganda Ang kutis...

ReplyDeleteGma and abs both do terrible jobs at casting for chemistry. Alden and Bea are individually good but there’s zero chemistry! Koreans are very good at casting for chemistry that’s why their dramas do well all over the world.

I've never watched any Korean dramas before, but I did watch a few of our tv series but stopped since migrating to another country, which was almost 20 years, give or take... so I am seeing this from what you can say, "with fresh eyes." And from what I am seeing, so far so good. So, I'd say why not give it a chance, maybe we'll come to appreciate everyone's character and love the series, as well. Being negative and bashing (always) with everything around us is not good for health and for the soul.
