I remember my husband, then still my fiancé, being teased by his officemates to one of their colleagues when they know he already has a girlfriend. He actually told them to stop the teasing out of respect to me. When I told him they might get offended since I was worried about his situation at their office after that, he told me, “Hindi kasi tama yun. Naiilang ako at parang binabastos ka nila. Alam naman nilang may girlfriend na ko.” We might not be aware, but relationships get broken because of some misplaced teasing, so make sure to protect your relationship if you are serious of your commitment to your partner.
