To write History, we have to gather data - oral, written, visual - any source that can corroborate, describe, give depth and further understanding of a specific time period in the past. To say the work of historians is 'chismis' makes a mockery of the research behind the history books written by the likes of Zeus Salazar, Dr. Paz and Dr. Ma. Luisa Camagay. Ella Cruz, your ignorance might be amusing to some, but not to historians.

She is being asked directly about the story behind the film. She implies na hindi totoo yung accounts about their corruption and human rights violations, likening it to gossip.
