As a homeowner, ganyan din ako mag isip dati. I was like how come I can’t afford a bigger like the ones I see in videos. But after I finished paying mortgage for only 5 years, I was like I’m happy, because I’m debt free. It’s better to live within your means and mas malaki, mas high maintenance because you have to maintain and update your house at least every 5 years. Besides, malaki na ang bahay nya. Mahal kaya ang properties!
Just be happy for the guy. I remember nung contestants pa lang sila ni Sarah G, parang sa tugboat or something lang naki hitch si Mark ng ride para makapunta sa Maynila
Baka kasi nag support sha sa fam members before kaya di makaipon ng malaki. Not unusual nmn ganung setup sa ph. Kahit nonshowbiz folks, haloa gawing retirement plan ang kids kaya late rin nakakapag establish sa bubay ang mga anak.

Not everyone likes a big house, kahit may pambili, lalo yung matatakutin at tamad maglinis, ayaw maghire ng help for privacy reasons. Kaya hanggang retirement, may binabayarang loans eh. Kasi ugali ng pinoy, the bigger the better tsk.

Pero ayaw nya ng sobrang laking bahay. Minsan kasi mag isa lang sya. Takot daw sya multo at agaw tingin sa mga magnanakaw ang malaking bahay.
True. Tama na samin ang 2500 sq ft house with additional 2500 sq ft na backyard. If mas malaki pa sa 2500 sq ft esp if nasa Canada or mas malamig na bansa, mas sobrang taas ng babayaran mo sa gas/heater, electricity, home insurance, and annual property tax.
I'd rather have a small or medium sized house para madali i maintain and less bills. Bawiin na lang sa interior design at landscaping. A huge house is a burden long term.
