I chose a non Filipino and they told me I am not a typical pinay. Some gen z that grew up here in LA thinks I am cool. No I am not mayabang. I just fell in love with him. I hang out with people outside my race unlike some Filipinos here who only hangs out with Filipinos. Life is so fleeting. I don’t want to be stuck in a bubble.It’s okay to have friends outside your race. As for my husband, he is God’s gift. Being around other race will make you realize that as a Filipino we need to learn a lot.

Pinays like us are mostly prejudiced. Gold diggers na kami lahat kasi we chose to marry someone outside our race. Personal preference ko lang ang foreigner kasi masipag ako magwork and I focus on my career and he gets that, because he’s also the same. Pag pinoy, chances are, pakakainin ko pa siya at aasa na lang siya sakin. Aminin natin, ang daming ganyang pinoy. Not all of them, pero madami.
He's famous. His family is famous. And most importantly, it's pride month. Yes, medyo iba siya sa usual na pinapalabas sa KMJS, but it's good to know na ginamit ng show ang influence nila para mabuksan ang isipan ng iba nating kababayan tungkol sa LGBT community.
