SNSD, 2pm, BB, GOT7 still pretty much get good gigs and their fans stayed and supported their solo acts. Yung mga groups na may mga standout members like 4 minute, fx, at Miss A lang yung nagiging irrelevant yung majority ng members after hiatus or disbandment

I love their songs! My kids love their songs. But hindi naman ako yung super fan talaga. I just like to watch them kasi ang gaan nila panuorin. Yung nakakawala ng stress at pag bored ka. We watched them like 100 times especially mga concerts nung may pandemic. Sobrang nakatulong talaga. Muntik na ako mahook pero Im 35 na at busy sa mga kids. Hehe. So gets na gets ko kung bat daming malulungkot na ARMYs. Ako nga almost two years ko palang sila napapanuod medyo nalungkot din ako pero hopefully makagawa pa sila ng mas maraming songs once makabalik sila. Na, I think it depends on the type of music you like. For me, I love JK's voice, but not his solo style (so far). I'd go with JHope, Taehyung and Sugar. Plus Suga is a producer. The rappers will collab too. JHope is already headlining Lovapalooza - he's a show on his own.

JHope is well loved by western artists kaya may collabs din yan. Siya ang unang may solo, lollapalooza this July. Of course Suga can definitely stand on his own. He has solo songs that even debuted at the Hot100. He has been producing and doing solo projects for the longest time. So I wouldn’t be surprise if he become the successful. He has planned out his life by studying English, Japanese, guitar, keyboards, harmonica, dancing.
For me naman, I believe na they truly want to do things on their own. Maybe some of them still wants to perform as a group but I think most of them wants to explore and grow. If you truly know them, they each have their own style.

Watch the vid sa taas. It’s an hour long vid pero baka maliwanagan kayo on how they truly feel. After watching the vid I feel for them. As much as they wanted Armys to be happy, they struggle as well.
All of them should have enlisted in the army during the pandemic since almost two years din ang itatagal nila duon. Eh di sana tapos na sila sa military obligations nila ngayon.
Doing that would be disastrous for HYBE since bago pa lang sila bilang public company nung 2020. I believe BSH has allowed the members to pursue what they like is because TXT has shown stability in its sales and HYBE has acquired/partnered with other agencies and companies.

Matagal ko nang nakita ito since their release of Dynamite. Gaya ng sabi ni RM, nawala ang identity nila. Yes, fans ang priority nila and this is part of the idol culture as RM discussed as well. However, they are humans too. Their roots are based on music that does not really fit Kpop. Also, may sarili rin silang buhay na kailangang pagtuunan ng pansin. If they are not well, how can they perform well? If they are performing songs which they don’t identify with, that would mean losing their authenticity. Their staying power will rely on their music as they get older. First gen groups have their unique style wherein masasabi mo na Shinhwa or H.O.T. yung song. Even for second gen groups. With the direction of their previous English releases, generic yung songs nila so I understand where RM is coming from.
I'm sure pinagiisipan na nila iyon dati pa. As a fan, you should understand, that there is more to life than being part of the group, BTS and entertaining the ARMY fans. Ibalato na natin sa kanila ito.
Ay beks you are in a parasocial relationship lol. These idols don't owe you anything. I think this group got too big to the point that they can't enjoy the music they put out as much anymore cause sobrang diverse ng fanbase na kailangan nilang iplease in addition to the fact that they work like slaves to promote it. It's not like your idols will completely disappear, more likely you'll be more busy as a fan trying to keep track of their individual stuff.
Bash I feel you but let’s try to understand where they’re coming from. Jimin and RM were crying and I feel their pain lalo na si RM. They wanted to do something as an individual artist but they can’t. Instead, they’ve been doing things na magugustuhan ng tao kahit minsan mahirap na for them.
They have been together 9 years. They have surpassed the Beatles. It’s not their fault na yun Iba sa atin ngayon lang nagsimulang mag-stan . It’s not their problem anymore. They need to live their lives the way they wanted them to be.

Let's be fair iba yung jpop kasi japan never had the intention to spread it internationally since sobrang laki ng music industry nila na hindi na nila kailangang umasa sa international market. Ang hirap ngang iaccess ng japanese media in general. In terms of kpop, I disagree dahil they are way more advanced at forward thinking kesa sa mga stale na pop acts sa western market. Just look at pop acts na lumalabas dun, they even incorporate avatars at may virtual world building concept na silang ginagawa na tamang tama dahil lumalaganap at nagaadvance na ang AI technology all over the world. Meanwhile the US is still not over with oversexualized pop girls, white boys with guitars, mumble rap, teenage melodramatic songs about breaking up, twerking, etc.
Yeah. I don’t think meron pang susunod na sisikat ng sobra tulad ng BTS & BlackPink. Dati din kasi novelty pa ang KPop & even KDrama. Ngayon oversaturated na and may language barrier parin naman na mahirap maovercome so pasawa narin ang West sa Hallyu wave.

Wala pa silang maayos na pahinga since they blew up. Mga bata pa rin sila in a way, and I get na may mga bagay na gusto rin sila gawin separately. Sana makapag pahinga kayo OT7 maski papaano. I’m not even a fan, but I saw my bias groups get exhausted and eventually take a break din. It’s only fair, pati ok rin yung timing, maghihiatus sila na boom pa rin and technically they’re still on top. I don’t think ARMY should be worried (most of the ARMY I know are not) because kahit ano sabihin they’ve set the bar really high and will be remembered as the biggest K-Pop boy band for decades to come. I don't find them weak at all because it takes a lot of courage to admit that they lost their direction as a group and would like to pursue their solo projects at the peak of their group's career. They're never after the money nor fame, that's why many people respect them so much.
I was introduced by my 12 Yr old son to BTS. I found their songs amazing. Nakaka feel good. When they released their single, Permission to dance, it was when my grandmother died. Nakaka good vibes ung song for some reason.
Feel ko naman they are expecting na Ma exempt sila sa military or mag extend ulit but hinde na sila pinayagan kaya nag announce sila biglaan ng ganyan statement and mag solo na sila. Ayaw din ata mag concert hinde sila complete? Besides long overdue na yung isa For military na unahan na sila ng iba kpop artist.

. The BTS crisis is primarily related to creativity, not to personal life. Dynamite's success, surpassing their own songs, unsettled them. They don't know where to go creatively, how to please people and realize themselves further. I hope that the guys will find support and understand that creativity has always been and will always be, and everything else is temporary.
Kasi they make music based in what people will like and that puts so much pressure in them especially kay Suga and RM as they are the main composers in the group. I think it’s time to truly express themselves.
TBH I was shocked. But after watching their Festa vid I finally understand. As much as I want them together performing as a group, they need to grow individually as an artist and as a person. ARMYs know their individuality and I’m excited to see them grow.💜

I’m an ARMY and a SUGA stan. I’m sad for ARMYS but happy for SUGA stans, because finally SUGA will be able to express himself freely and create music that he wants and not what the public dictates. He is one of the best musicians in the world, and his creativity will just go to waste if he will just use it to please their global audience and the Grammys.
Nakakagawa naman siya ng solo songs na fit sa sarili nyang style. Management pa run kasi tlga ang may last say sa mga ire.release na songs. Exception lang nun is kung indie ka

As an EXO fan, I really feel the sadness of Armys. I too was devastated when D.O suddenly cut his hair and announced the sudden enlistment. then sumunod na ang iba, so we're kind of used to it. We're just holding on to their promise to stick together as a group

DeleteNa, I think it depends on the type of music you like. For me, I love JK's voice, but not his solo style (so far). I'd go with JHope, Taehyung and Sugar. Plus Suga is a producer. The rappers will collab too. JHope is already headlining Lovapalooza - he's a show on his own.

DeleteOf course Suga can definitely stand on his own. He has solo songs that even debuted at the Hot100. He has been producing and doing solo projects for the longest time. So I wouldn’t be surprise if he become the successful. He has planned out his life by studying English, Japanese, guitar, keyboards, harmonica, dancing.

ReplyDeleteMatagal ko nang nakita ito since their release of Dynamite. Gaya ng sabi ni RM, nawala ang identity nila. Yes, fans ang priority nila and this is part of the idol culture as RM discussed as well. However, they are humans too. Their roots are based on music that does not really fit Kpop. Also, may sarili rin silang buhay na kailangang pagtuunan ng pansin. If they are not well, how can they perform well? If they are performing songs which they don’t identify with, that would mean losing their authenticity. Their staying power will rely on their music as they get older. First gen groups have their unique style wherein masasabi mo na Shinhwa or H.O.T. yung song. Even for second gen groups. With the direction of their previous English releases, generic yung songs nila so I understand where RM is coming from.

I think this group got too big to the point that they can't enjoy the music they put out as much anymore cause sobrang diverse ng fanbase na kailangan nilang iplease in addition to the fact that they work like slaves to promote it. DeleteLet's be fair iba yung jpop kasi japan never had the intention to spread it internationally since sobrang laki ng music industry nila na hindi na nila kailangang umasa sa international market. Ang hirap ngang iaccess ng japanese media in general. In terms of kpop, I disagree dahil they are way more advanced at forward thinking kesa sa mga stale na pop acts sa western market. Just look at pop acts na lumalabas dun, they even incorporate avatars at may virtual world building concept na silang ginagawa na tamang tama dahil lumalaganap at nagaadvance na ang AI technology all over the world. Meanwhile the US is still not over with oversexualized pop girls, white boys with guitars, mumble rap, teenage melodramatic songs about breaking up, twerking, etc.

ReplyDeleteWala pa silang maayos na pahinga since they blew up. Mga bata pa rin sila in a way, and I get na may mga bagay na gusto rin sila gawin separately. Sana makapag pahinga kayo OT7 maski papaano. I’m not even a fan, but I saw my bias groups get exhausted and eventually take a break din. It’s only fair, pati ok rin yung timing, maghihiatus sila na boom pa rin and technically they’re still on top. I don’t think ARMY should be worried (most of the ARMY I know are not) because kahit ano sabihin they’ve set the bar really high and will be remembered as the biggest K-Pop boy band for decades to come. Aja, Bangtan!

DeleteI was introduced by my 12 Yr old son to BTS. I found their songs amazing. Nakaka feel good. When they released their single, Permission to dance, it was when my grandmother died. Nakaka good vibes ung song for some reason.

Delete. The BTS crisis is primarily related to creativity, not to personal life. Dynamite's success, surpassing their own songs, unsettled them. They don't know where to go creatively, how to please people and realize themselves further. I hope that the guys will find support and understand that creativity has always been and will always be, and everything else is temporary.

I’m sad for ARMYS but happy for SUGA stans, because finally SUGA will be able to express himself freely and create music that he wants and not what the public dictates. He is one of the best musicians in the world, and his creativity will just go to waste if he will just use it to please their global audience and the Grammys.
