Noon may mock miting de avance kami for a class in college years ago nung tumakbo siya for president 2004, assigned ako for Lacson. At first asiwa ako kasi pulis (UP ako kaya laging anti-establishment attitudes dati haha!) pero nung nagresearch ako, maganda ang track record niya at sensible ang platform niya. Yun lang talaga mahirap i-sell kasi "stiff" nya, kulang sa charisma, I had to go through the 'strict father who wants best for you' figure route.

That’s what I told my friend na director ng ads nya. Magaling naman talaga si Ping and that’s why I voted for him. Pero waley talaga sa charisma. Laging contained na contained ang emotions. Maybe dahil nga pulis. Parang robot lol.

Maganda track record (not perfect because of some questions during his time as a cop, pero overall ok), anti pork barrel, does not suffer fools and calls it as he sees it, matinong platform, and has the temperament to handle a challenging job. Yun nga lang palaging inuuna ng mga botante ang karisma sa pagpili. Oh well.
Si Ping ang choice ko dahil ganda ng service nya. Its just this election became a bugso of damdamin at ng kumakalam na sikmura na gusto ng instant pagbabago (na alam natin na mahirap na mahirap). If people were smart, they should have voted for Sen Ping. Pero hindi e. Nadala sa social media at awayan ng 2 camps.
