He was laughing at the joke until Jada gave the look so he went up and slapped Chris. Tapos as he slapped him, tumawa si Jada. Ewan ko nalang. There were also no issues with Will during the rehearsal when Chris told the joke and he (Will) was present sa rehearsal. Bakit ba laging touchy pag babae ang may kasalanan when if it wasnt for her reacting, Will would not have reacted? Babae din ako pero may ibang perspective na pinapakita online showing that Will reacted. Jada is open with her life and one of the consequences of that is being a target of people.
Kaya while Will did the slap, Jada obviously fanned the flames dahil ayaw nya ung joke hence the reaction. Sadly it all falls on Will Smith's shoulders and accountability.
Great PR team. Lol. All I can hope is he's sincerely remorseful of his actions. When he took his award, he seemed remorseful naman and it didn't look like it was just for show. For me lang ha. I guess I can understand where some people in that event are coming from and it took awhile to process what happened on top of the obligation to see thru the show. Will acted emotionally. Regardless of what they went thru as a married couple, that was probably an immediate over reaction to protect his wife. And being a celebrity, which I will never understand, the limelight, attention and the negative comments can take a toll on anyone's mental well being. Baka that was the last straw. I guess im just trying to be objective. BUT at the end of the day, the real hero for me is Chris Rock. I have so much respect for him for handling it with class and grace. Trauma is Subjective. I almost got killed by my brother but I never got diagnosed with Ptsd dahil dun but at some point na diagnose ako because pinahiya ako ng coworker ko sa harap ng boss ko. Mas grabe yung effect sakin nun, i lost 20lbs in a week. Public humiliation is my trigger. Walang one specific incident that causes trauma, iba iba ang reason may mga reasons lang na more common than others, like being a soldier at war, constrant physical abuse by your husband etc
