Fine, pati kanye west lol
DeleteHahaha relate!
DeleteBruno Mars deserves it.
Parang sell out na sila for international reach. Mas maganda pa yung mga naunang songs nila.
Deletenkklk nga ung isa kong friend anywhere na hindi bts nanalo gsto i boycott. no one else is good for them except those boys lol. i mean they’re good but let’s not be delusional na sila lang pwede manalo
Delete12:31 yung totoo, racist ang academy and they just put asian acts there para may token. If B** fans decide to boycott the event they'd prolly invite BP to replace them since they're the second biggest group. Hindi naman na bago yan, laging snubbed ang nga boybands sa grammys for some reason.
Delete12:07 totoo!
ReplyDeleteGrammys is not about sales or popularity
Congratulations Silk Sonic/Bruno Mars. Well-deserved awards.
Sana rethink kung aattend pa sila next year.
Haaay... BTS deserve more than the Grammys. At nakakainis yung interview ni Trevor Noah asking how did RM learn to speak english (paulit-ulit tinanong yan ng mga American interviewers madalas, hence the reaction of RM) tapos kumanta pa nung song from Squid Game mali naman lyrics.
DeleteLet's be honest. BTS is definitely deserving of their fame and they are not gonna slow down anytime soon but from what I've heard last night their vocals aren't that good and you need to at least be average in that area to get credibility sa mga awards shows. Since ate brit-brit and lola madonna parang na-phase out na yung mga weak vocalists sa american pop and they put much more value in either voice technique/color/songwriting more than dance or performance skills (just look at how katy, miley, rih, and gaga "dance") unless you are no other than taylor s who can write good songs, play instruments, and look like a VS supermodel with a very loyal fanbase. Even amongst kpop groups hindi sila ang top when it comes to vocals and dance, and other groups can produce good music as well. I remember even nung MAMA 2020 yung group na halos 6 minutes lang ang ibinigay na performance time dahil di sila kasing sikat eh nilamon sila that night kahit na they got the longest screen time and hype. Isa pa, as far as I know, biased against boy bands ang academy. Correct me if I'm wrong pero wala pang boyband na nakareceive ng grammy award. They definitely invite them because they're counting on their fans to tune in even if their racist and pretentious a**es will probably keep snubbing them. At the end of the day, big deal paring maging grammy nominated.
Delete12:36 it's all good for Bruno Mars kasi may awards siya.
DeleteABBA is still making music?
ReplyDeleteWala yatang napanalunan si Taylor Swift?
unfortunately, yes. she already won for the aoty last year plus magaganda din ang album ng ibang nominees kaya tagilid ang evermore
DeleteYes may new album sila, their first album in 40 years
Why? Eh halos magkasing tunog yung butter at dynamite nila. Walang originality dami katunog na iba music. Kung di nila babaguhin ginagawa nila song wala sila pag asa balik nalang kayo sa dati genre nyo may pag asa pa kayo sa grammy.
ReplyDeleteKorek mas maganda ung song nila before. Fave ko talaga ung life goes on tsaka ung boy with luv.
DeleteI don't listen to BTS but I'm assuming yung "dating genre" nila is hiphop based. Napanuod ko yung performance nila last night and parang leaning towards pop siya. I don't think BTS will ever do hiphop influenced tracks anymore unless sa asia lang siya ipopromote. Now that they are mainstream in the US market they'll end up clashing with AA artists and be accused of cultural appropriation if they do hiphop sounding music and package it as kpop (and I know I'll get attacked by saying this but if I'm not mistaken they were definitely caught appropriating AA culture and it was swept under the rug because of their fame.) It seems like sobrang laki na din ng fandom nila so they have to cater to every single demographic.
DeleteLike ko ang Make It Right and Your Universe.
DeleteI was so happy and sad for Foo Fighters. My heart 💔
ReplyDeleteYes
DeleteApparently, may ibang mga BTS fans who were mad because Doja and SZA allegedly only performed the song once, but BTS performed their song several times. Literal talaga mga teh? Kalerks.
DeletePost Malone :(
ReplyDeleteBruno Mars/Silk Sonic - Deserve
DeleteThank God di nanalo si billie at Taylor they're are so overrated
Si Doja Cat nanalo pero mapapaisip ka na si Katy Perry never won and to think same type of artist lang sila and both muse of Dr. Luke
Delete3.15 she's just following the footsteps of Taytay na karamihan patama sa exes. we'll nvr know, baka naman magkaroon din siya ng ibang theme. so far, melody wise, di ko bet.
ReplyDeleteetong BTS susme anung cnbe sa Backstreet boys...Lol...Sorry tita here...haha...
Kaya nga. BSB Army here😘
DeleteIn fairness sa backstreet boys, they released a track 3 years ago and they still got it lol. Mas talented and westlife vocally though. Nsync no comment lol.
Deletesamedt. sa totoo lang the new songs all sound the same. BTS walang simabi sa BSB and i think Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eillish are sooo overrated. many other artists before have done what they’re doing now.
Deletewag icompare iba ang bts at iba ang bsb but both groups are talented in their own way
DeleteAng saya sana sa las vegas nho.. pwede ka manuod ng bts at bsb back to back.. same day cla may concert sa alegiant stadium ang bts then sa ceasar's palace ang bsb.. sana ol mayaman.. fulfilled na sana ang fangirling ko hahahhahahha..
DeleteMy ABBA heart, although they don't need the Grammy, they are already a legendary act.
DeleteABBA ba yan ? Kasi apat sila.
DeleteSuper love Leave the Door Open ni BM!
ReplyDeleteThe overhyped ngawa queen, Olivia Rodrigo.
ReplyDeleteSongs in her Sour album are all potential hits.
DeleteThe trying hard copycat of Taylor Swift
DeleteHuwag kang KJ beks. Bawat generation may ngawa queen, let gen z/alpha have theirs lol
Deletesoo overrated. i cant believe she is still considered “new”. she’s a TS wannabe and im not even a TS fan. i dont see anything special about her songs sa totoo lang
DeleteLOL! You must be a bitter army. Congratulations Olivia! You deserve your grammy achievements at just 19 years old!
DeleteAng bitter naman. I like olivia's album. First time ko siya marinig pero winner na agad sa akin ang SOUR album. It's such a fun pop album
DeleteAgree!
Lol
Delete10:14 she acknowledges naman her filipino roots.
Research mo muna what ngawa means. Not a Billie/BTS fan
Delete12:41 she acknowledged it because she knows na malakas manghype ang mga pinoy. Actually, everyone knows that. No wonder foreigner making fun of us.
Can she just sing with her natural singing voice kaysa nag eemo emo sya?
Anyway, mahirap talaga manalo ng GRAMMY since voting process is different. Voting members are not experts.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've heard, all korean music awards are voted by fans kaya dun nasanay ang army.
ReplyDeleteI am an army but I don't have a high expectations of Bts winning Grammy. True to that msgs above , MA's better talaga ang mga songs nila before. Their English songs that were arranged by American musical arranger/composer iisa ang tunog or magkatunog.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteGrammy needs BTS and ARMY for higher rating and viewership! I am upset that our Bangtan Sonyeodan Boys/Men have been used and ARMYs given false hope since the award category was pushed to the end to keep ARMYs waiting and expecting. Maybe BTS thought the same.
BTS is already a winner/Champion on multiple counts and platforms!!! We, true global ARMYs love them for who they are!!! Who needs Grammy? BTS sales continue to soar and break records without Grammys. I hope that their management and BTS will not allow Grammys to use them again!!!
please eat a humble pie.
Glad to see him nominated.
Now, naririnig ko mga names ng newbies pero forgettable na for me.
ReplyDeleteI think if BTS will be nominated again next year, they will win because it will be their third time to be nominated if ever. Third times the charm... and if they stop collaborating with lousy musicians and collab with serious ones instead like Bruno mars/Silksonic.
ReplyDeleteOr compose a song in korean and have an english version na lang na ipapasa sa grammys since mas magaganda mga kanta nila nuon kesa ngayon. I mean Spring Day is much worthy of Grammys than Butter. Fact.
Yeah Spring Day is an anthem. O kahit sana Mic Drop
DeleteMars syempre masaya if maka-collab nila si Bruno Mars pero let's be realistic here, hindi enough ang vocal skills nung mga yun sa calibre ni BM. If that ever happens then good for them pero sa kanta nga ni Charlie Puth hirap na hirap na what more pa kaya sa kanta nung isa.
DeleteBut armys said that Jungkook is much better singer than Bruno Mars. LOL!
DeleteLipas na yan Grammys may kinikilingan naman yan just like what they did to Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey
ReplyDeletehmm let’s see about longevity. TS is still relevant because she can write good songs. it’s too early to say the same about OR, she has writers and as early as now may copyright issues na agad smh
ReplyDelete8:43 she’s already paying royalties or gave credit. Iyak lang, baks.
Delete12:31 it doesnt change the fact that she’s a copycat
DeleteBruno Mars the Great! 😍😍
ReplyDeleteolivia rodrigo is overrated 🙄
ReplyDeleteNakakamis Lang ung mid 90’s to early 00’s na kilala mo lahat ang nag lalaban laban. Yung tipong lahat NG nominees deserving. Pop Vocal Category May pa Celine vs Mariah vs Whitney vs Toni na labanan. or Madonna vs Janet vs Kylie.
ReplyDeleteMadaling sabihin yan since generation mo eh.
DeleteAll I can say is TAEHYUNG AND OLIVIA RODRIGO LOOK GOOD TOGETHER.
ReplyDeleteVLIV. LOL!
