The 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards, which honor some of the year's best television and film performances by actors, aired Sunday.
The casts of "Ted Lasso" and "Succession" won for their ensemble work in the best television comedy and drama categories, while the cast of "CODA" celebrated their win for best motion picture ensemble.
"Squid Game" actors bested their "Succession" competition in the drama acting categories, and both Will Smith and Michael Keaton offered emotional acceptance speeches for their wins in the lead male acting in a motion picture and male actor in a TV movie or miniseries, respectively.

ReplyDeleteNext time sana 🇵🇭 naman.
DeleteBwAhahahhaha! That would be a miracle.
DeleteWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
DeleteOo nga on par naman tv series naten like onanay, viral scandal, kadenang ginto and especially Ang Probinsyano sa series abroad ah 🤗
DeleteMalaking difference yung may suporta ng gobyerno. Nangyari ang hallyu wave dahil the korean govt backed it up.
Bagong gising pero naka-full makeup complete with mascara.
Haha!
DeleteSana magkaroon ulit ng another Lino Brocka sa Philippine Movie industry
Delete12:10 Hindi another Lino Brocka ang kelangan natin. Indie directors are making qualities. Problema lang, kulang sa support. 😢
DeleteGrabe si Ho-Yeon! Hollywood heavyweights lang naman ang tinalo and on her first acting gig pa 😳
ReplyDeleteKorean invasion na rin sa hollywood ah. I haven’t seen Squid Game honestly. Watched the first episode and di ko matapos tapos. I understand interesting yung premise nya. Pero may something off para sakin. 🤷🏻♂️ Maybe it’s only me.
ReplyDeleteOkay lang yan. Kanya kanya naman ng taste ang tao
DeleteI love kdrama and I know Squid Game is a good one based on my friends. But I didn’t even try watching kasi di ko kaya mga ganitong timpla na series. Pero kudos to the Koreans at may Hollywood invasion na. Sana mag level up na din Pinas. Dami naman talented na Pinoys e.
DeleteThe story is ok.
DeleteSame. I tried watching pero di ko tinapos.
DeleteAt least new genre naman, same with Money Heist.
DeleteKesa naman sa usual romcom.
Squid Game was great for the first half of the series but it ended up as meh.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
Delete12:41 You're right.
DeleteNaaah, I feel the second half is better
ReplyDeleteCongrats Lee Jung Jae. Been a fan since Il Mare. I miss those type of movies. Congrats also to Ho Yeon.
ReplyDeleteIl Mare and Along with the Gods are my faves.
One of my favorites kmovie, with A Moment To Remember (Son Ye Jin)
ReplyDeleteProduct of hype. Pangit ang ending.
ReplyDeleteSo true. Nadala lang sa hype.
DeleteImho, the individually nominated Succession actors deserved it more. But at least they got the ensemble award. At least good din naman for representation yung pagka panalo ng Squid Game, to enable them to break through the western market talaga. Pero sayang!!! Sarah Snook should have taken that Best Actress nod.
ReplyDeleteThe Succession boys and girls should have won it. Nadala lang sa hype itong SG.
DeleteI have to agree with this. And individually, I think any of the 3 deserves to win over Jung-jae. Likewise, Sarah Snook should've won, IMO. The SG actors are good but not the best. Well, the judges disagree and I'm still happy for the SG cast winning, as this pushes for more inclusive award-giving bodies. At least Succession won the ensemble award. Sobrang well-deserved.
DeleteTrue! Succession cast deserve to win! overhype tong SG
DeleteCongrats Lee Jung Jae deserve but not Hoyeon
DeletePinoys naman sana next year!
ReplyDeletelizzie moss deserved to win
ReplyDeleteSince puro Squidgame kayo
ReplyDeleteCongratulations kay kate Winslet, ganda ng tv show nya and her acting well deserved
Best hype award lol!.
ReplyDeletengek
ReplyDeleteHuh, what’s happening. Nevermind.
ReplyDeleteZzzzzz, go back to bed.
ReplyDeleteSG is just a Korean version of The Hunger Games and all done indoors. Meh.
Mas marami pang better kdrama in reality…
ReplyDeleteare they all members of SAG? it's for members, right?
ReplyDeleteJeremy Strong was robbed. Sheesh! Squid Game was only good on the first half, the second half was "meh."
