It's good that she reached out. I admire her bravery, this lady has principles. Minsan talaga, may oras na mas matimbang ang paninindigan mo kaysa sa pagkakaibigan. Not her fault. Basta panatilihin pa rin ang respeto okay lang naman.
ngayon ko lang napagtanto kasi nanood talaga ako sa mga past interview ni boy mapa showbiz o sa mga politician. mabulaklak lang siya magsalita at maganda ang pronounciation niya pero walang laman o mababaw lamang ang mga binibitawan niyang mga salita.
Give credit where credit is due naman. Pinaghandaan naman ni Boy at ng team niya yung Presidential Interview series niya.
Minsan ganon talaga ang flow ng interviews, yung host magtatanong based on a point the interviewee made, and sometimes parang nagiging conversation-type exchange yung interviewer and interviewee. In my opinion, it seemed like he was guiding or steering the interviewees back to the subject of the question kapag nawawala na sa topic or kung mukhang hindi sinasagot ng diretcho yung question. He did that with all of them, yung tanong na “how will you do it?” Or he’ll say “give an example” when he wants the interviewee to cite an example so the viewers can better understand. Or he’ll ask follow-up questions to help the interviewee further explain. Ang pinaka complaint ko lang doon is while he did his follow-up question during the 5-minute alloted time, hindi pino pause yung oras kaya tuloy nakasama yung kanyang comment sa 5 minutes nung interviewee. But that is a very minor issue, overall, I think he and his team did a great job. Please don’t try to diminish his success like that.

HIndi ako biased pero iba talaga yung pagkabibo nya sa interview ni VP Leni. I watched his interviews in all other candidates, marami silang vague na sagot pero di nya masyadong inuusisa. What i observed, magaling magconvey ng salita pero actually ang genaral ng mga sagot. Leni actaully gave detailed answers in most questions and she would explain the cause of the problem kaya baka naiinip si Boy.
Pansin ko na yan the buzz days pa. Sumsapaw sa guest tapos daming iniinterject na akala mo siya may alam ng lahat, to the point na mas marami ka pang narinig sa kanya kaysa sa iniinterview. Maganda lang tandem nila ni kris kaya sumikat yan
12:04 yan ang hanash ng mga ampalaya pag na-expose sa interview ang pagkakalat ng manok nila. Pero todo puri kay tito Boy kung nag-"shine" sa interview ang manok nila.
Pwede naman talaga imaintain ang friendships across the fence. Sometimes we lose a bit of respect, a bit of trust, pero ultimately tayo tayo ang magkakasama sa buhay, hindi mga politiko, kahit gaano natin sila iadmire. Very sad turn of events sa friendship nila, but at least alam na ni Boy na ganon lang pala tingin ni Rita sa relationship nila.

I Liked Boy’s interview more compared to Jessica’s. Mas mamumulatan ka sa issue at mas madali i.compare candidates thru Boy’s interviews kasi same questions mga binato niya parehong tone pa pagkakatanong nya sa lahat haha

It was uncomfortable to watch him do political interviews because the it highlighted that the depth of his knowledge over many pressing issues is limited so his follow-up questions seemed pilit and were inconsistent. The same feeling I get in his once a week late night interview show (I forget the title): parang Barbra Walters when her researchers have had a bad day.
Yep sobrang kulang sa research kaya ang gusto nyang sagot motherhood statements lang. Pag nageelaborate ng plans, cinucut off niya. It seems like he doesn't understand his own questions like debt-to-GDP ratio, ICC, etc. Sana totoong journalist na nagaaral ang naghahandle ng ganyan like Karen Davila, Christian Esguerra, etc
Not just that. I'm not biased, napanood ko. Masyadong naging maraming interruptions si Boy instead of listening first what Leni has to say. Sayang yung oras.
8:20, Lol, no. He is no good. He talks too much about his opinion. He is the interviewer. He needs to ask questions and listen for the answers and do a follow up questions if necessary. Gets mo.
hahhaa, Boy was trying hard to ask political questions, daming pasakalye eh alam naman ng mga kandidato yung issues. Masyado pa feeling smart at intelligent si Boy eh the interview was not about him but about the views of the interviewee.
There's a fine line between being outspoken and trying to humiliate others . Si Rita Avila was trying to get sympathy from others para i bash nila si Boy . Its so happen na konti lang ang pumanig sa kanya . and instead sya ang na bash . Now kung totoong friend ang turing nya kay Boy and shes tring to give her opinion . she should have called or tell Boy in his face ung sa tingin nya ay mali

In fairness to BA, nagresearch talaga sila ng husto para sa interview na yun. But IMO, BA should have minimised his stance or interpretations on the issues. Kasi kapag may nasabi iba sa paniniwala nya, or di nya masyado maintindihan, ang haba ng follow up nya. It should be about the views of the candidates not his. Dapat sana sa tuwing magsasalita sya, naka pause yung timer. O dapat isang tanong, then the whole full 5 mins were given to candidates for their answers. Para naging fair sa lahat. Manny had many vague answers, for example, binigyan nya palagi ng empathy... Maaaring tama pero Hindi fair.
Kung wala sigurong time limit in each question, I won't mind BA giving follow up questions as many as he like. It didn't feel na paliguy ligoy si Leni. She just have detailed answers which gave more room for BA to give follow up questions. Leni has so much to say kaya lang napuputol yung thought nya when Boy interrupts her.
