We had conchi galing sa ibang supplier. Na deliver sya ng maaga, so ilang oras pa bago sya kinain. Super crispy pa naman at masarap. So i think hindi lang talaga sya sa delay.

At kaya pala kaya nya kumain ng halos 2x a week ng cochi, napakamura lang pala ng live piglet raw mga 2k lang tapos sell nya sa 9k pataas. Sobra mahal mgbenta. Pati sa restos nya, mahal d naman ganun kasarap. Pandemic na ganun pa rin wala awa mgpresyo. Pumalpak sya kasi imbes na i cancel nya o refund yung mga hindi nya nakaya na orders, pinilit nya dahil sa laki pala ng kita nya kada cochi. Imagine, mas ginusto pa nila na mabulilyaso ang pasko ng mga umorder kesa nga naman mgrefund sila. Hype lang sila sa lahat ng bagay. Inuuuna kasi ang kikitain kesa sa satisfaction ng customers. Tsaka yung bad customer service ng staff nya? Di naman mandeadma mga yun kung alam nila na particular si marvin sa good customer service. Makikita mo tuloy tunay na ugali nya.
Di ko naman pinagtatanggol si Marvin but if you own a food business, alam mo pag kaya ng kusina mo ung dami ng orders pero di mo marerealize agad na yung delivery di kakayanin kung third party. Di nakakastress ung luto, sa totoo lang ung courier ang nakakastress kasi that part is beyond the seller's control. Dapat nung simula palang e di na niya kinommit ang booking ng delivery. I learned that the hard way nung nahirapan ako magbook holidays last year and mega tinalakan ako nung umorder kasi nalate. Ung distansya ng delivery is qc to ortigas lang pero sa tagal ng booking, di napickup agad ung order, ang mahal pa ng delivery fee.
9:48 PM - if you own a food business, you would know that you have to factor in delivery options during peak seasons like holidays. you do this at the start of the year and finalize at the start of the quarter (of the peak season concerned).
wag kang magdahilan ng nakakastress ang couriers. legit food businesses would make prior arrangements with riders - mostly contracted with just for the peak season. or join the delivery platform para di problema delivery. the scenario you described sounds like someone who just made something that needed to be delivered during peak season. so yeah, you're just defending Marvin. you don't sound like someone with an actual food business. specially with the dismissive di nakakastress ang luto. that's ridiculously incredulous.

No offense to 9:48 PM, but if delivery is included in your food service then it SHOULD be included in your plan. kung di na anticipate na mahirap magbook during a busy season or mas mahal ang bayad sa delivery, those are due to POOR PLANNING and mahirap gamitin palusot sa bad service.
On a broader point, I'm really baffled sa mga nag order kay Marvin and then nagrereklamo na di satisfied sa quality ng food. He's not a chef nor a cook by profession, artista lang na nagluto, so why have high expectations sa quality ng food? dami namang ibang tried and tested restaurants selling suckling pig, bakit di dun umorder?
Lesson learned yan, 9:48. Learned from your own mistake. Kung nag ooffer ng delivery, dapat sukatin ang kayang gawin sa kayang ideliver. Iprioritize both at the same time and few months before the peak ika nga ni 1:00

I don't take orders more than I can handle but delivery booking is a different story. Ngayong pandemic lang namimili ang mga riders ng bookings kasi malakas talaga online selling ng food. At one point, I had to add priority fee up to 200 pesos just for the courier to pick up the order from me. So no, I'm not defending Marvin. I'm just stating my experience and it's a learning experience for everybody. While my food business is just my side gig, I know myself enough that my strength is in the kitchen, hence, nasabi ko na hindi ako stress sa kitchen. Mas stress sakin ung administrative side of it. Di naman puro luto lang ang food business, may marketing side and administrative side. Inaral ko naman po. Okay na? Kalorks. May pa you don't sound like someone with an actual food business ka pa jan. Sandukin kita jan.

I take the holidays into consideration which is why I only sell a fixed number of graze boxes and desserts. I MAKE THEM MYSELF out of my passion for food. It is not my main source of income but I like doing it because I enjoy it. My business may not be as big as yours as you seem to make it sound, but you have no right to talk down on people. Kailangang magpahumble nalang si Marvin ok na sana dahil sa apology niya nung una pero now may biniblame na siya. From the start walang appeal ang cochi ni Marvin sa akin dahil I still prefer the authentic filipino ingridients mas masarap at malasa compare sa mga herbs na gamit niya, even yung sauce (olive oil with herbs) niya ay hindi din appropriate para sa cochi dapat suka or mang tomas. Cebu lechon parin ang pinaka masarap para sa akin.
Noon, isa ang lechon s star tlga ng fiesta or any happy celebration. Part n ng tradition natin ang lechon eversince. So i kinda understand why pinoy serves lechon despite hndi ako mahilig dito.

Yung mga lechon nga sa cebu na pinapadala dito sa manila nakakarating ng maayos. Marvin is so unprofessional. Sana mga ganitong negosyo hindi na sinusuportahan. Pumalpak sya kasi imbes na i cancel nya o refund yung mga hindi nya nakaya na orders, pinilit nya dahil sa laki pala ng kita nya kada cochi. Imagine, mas ginusto pa nila na mabulilyaso ang pasko ng mga umorder kesa nga naman mgrefund sila. Hype lang sila sa lahat ng bagay. Inuuuna kasi ang kikitain kesa sa satisfaction ng customers. Tsaka yung bad customer service ng staff nya? Di naman mandeadma mga yun kung alam nila na particular si marvin sa good customer service. Makikita mo tuloy tunay na ugali nya.

DeleteDi ko naman pinagtatanggol si Marvin but if you own a food business, alam mo pag kaya ng kusina mo ung dami ng orders pero di mo marerealize agad na yung delivery di kakayanin kung third party. Di nakakastress ung luto, sa totoo lang ung courier ang nakakastress kasi that part is beyond the seller's control. Dapat nung simula palang e di na niya kinommit ang booking ng delivery. I learned that the hard way nung nahirapan ako magbook holidays last year and mega tinalakan ako nung umorder kasi nalate. Ung distansya ng delivery is qc to ortigas lang pero sa tagal ng booking, di napickup agad ung order, ang mahal pa ng delivery fee.

I don't take orders more than I can handle but delivery booking is a different story. Ngayong pandemic lang namimili ang mga riders ng bookings kasi malakas talaga online selling ng food. At one point, I had to add priority fee up to 200 pesos just for the courier to pick up the order from me. So no, I'm not defending Marvin. I'm just stating my experience and it's a learning experience for everybody. While my food business is just my side gig, I know myself enough that my strength is in the kitchen, hence, nasabi ko na hindi ako stress sa kitchen. Mas stress sakin ung administrative side of it. Di naman puro luto lang ang food business, may marketing side and administrative side. Inaral ko naman po. Okay na? Kalorks. It is not my main source of income but I like doing it because I enjoy it. My business may not be as big as yours as you seem to make it sound, but you have no right to talk down on people. Hindi lang naman yung cochi yung kinocompain pati yung ibang dishes na napanis.Yung ibang restaurant pag hindi nagustuhan or hindi naluto ng tama ang order they refund the customer eventhough it's not full refund or papalitan. From the start walang appeal ang cochi ni Marvin sa akin dahil I still prefer the authentic filipino ingridients mas masarap at malasa compare sa mga herbs na gamit niya, even yung sauce (olive oil with herbs) niya ay hindi din appropriate para sa cochi dapat suka or mang tomas. Cebu lechon parin ang pinaka masarap para sa akin.
