  4. Behind the fame and the fortune, she became amorexic, lonely and she abused alcohol. She is indeed very lucky, she got the help she needed. Not everyone can handle the poison of fame.

    4. The ignorance. You can be a functional depressed person. I went out and dated but everytime I went home I tried to hang myself. Thank god nlng din I found a good psychiatrist. Shut up, you don't know what demons People are fighting behind closed doors. Shut up.

    5. Did you ever think na that might have been one of her self destructing behaviors during those times?

    6. what an ignorant statement

    7. 1:51 I hope you're feeling better now. Hugs stranger.

    8. So insensitive and ignorant!

  6. Her communication skills improved a lot

  7. This is why we need to be careful with our comments. I'm pretty sure these celebrities get anxious about the attention and the negativities they constantly get. These surely add to their anxiety and stress.

    1. True minsan kahit positive comments nakaka apekto pupurihin ka na sexy at payat tapos anorexic pala

    2. Ginusto naman nila na makita by the public eye.

  8. Her life was never easy despite her crown. She paid the price and went through depression, anoxeria, alcoholism and Trichotillomania (hair pulling). She is indeed one tough woman because she was able to pull it through. Not everyone can handle fame.

  9. I gotta say her diction has improved a lot.

  10. Good to know she is joining the oppression Olympics :) See, aling nena sa kanto can only afford instant noodles and she needs to stretch that one packet for the whole day :) Pero you don't see her doing TED talks about her condition :) You are either a half full glass person of a half empty glass person :)

    1. Ay ignorante :) haha

    2. Kasi walang time sa TED talk si aling nena if whole day kumakalam ang sikmura. Harsh etong sinasabi ko pero in reality people like her have literally no choice sa ganyang sitwasyon. Walang half full half empty person if you were born in dire state and highly likely to remain that way for the rest of your life.

      Delete
    3. Anong problema mo? Hindi pwedeng malungkot ang isang tao? Ininvite sya jan para magsalita. Si Aling Nena ba nainvite?

    4. You again with your mean and insensitive comment as always
      My God

    5. Wow! Your comment is so ignorant. Just because someone is rich, popular and beautiful, it doesn’t excuse her from having any mental illness. It does not discriminate! Be more compassionate and you are lucky you don’t have to deal with anxiety and depression like MOST people do.

      Delete
    6. 1:47 We see what you did there. If Aling Nena is also given a platform like Pia's and has an opportunity to uplift others by sharing their stories, I'm sure Aling Nena would seize that chance.
Even the royal family (read: power, money, fame, security, lineage, etc.) have the most imperfect, complicated lives.

    7. You again trolling with outrageous comments. Compassion is free.

    8. Ignore nyo na lang yan. Hindi mahal ng mama nya haha

  11. It’s very lonely on top. That’s why we should never be envious of other people. You never know what happens behind closed doors.

    1. yes, fame can be very lonesome, the irony that a lot of people would do anything to be with you, then you feel lonely and alone.

    2. This! But despite all the struggles, we still have a loving God that we can call upon.

  12. Bakit napaling yung bibig nya while nagsasalita? Parang di naman ganyan nung miss u pa sya.

  13. OA mo thats was your choice, you even joined the MUP 3x. It's all our choice and deal the consequences graciously without depending on alcohol, self pity all we need is to PRAY.

    1. All we need is to PRAY? Did you solve all your problems by mere praying? If you did then you're lucky but at the same time lazy.

      Delete
    2. Yes prayer and perseverance. Lazy I guess so😊 I have been teaching for 29 years. I raised a daughter alone for 16 years. I have MA and PGDip under my belt. I traveled to 15 countries. If you call that lazy well I love being one! 👍

    4. Haven't you experienced dreaming of something so much, but you end up being worse once you have it? Bless you.

  14. I can relate to trichotillomania. I've been pulling my hair since high school. Ngayong November ko lang siya tinigil kasi ang laki na ng mga patches sa hair ko, halata na masyado even I tie my hair. Mahirap pero kinakaya.

  15. Her only claim to fame

    ReplyDelete
  16. Pia is such a strong woman. But strong women get to that stage because they have no other choice. She was forced to be strong.

    ReplyDelete
  18. aw. i see my daughter in her. si anak naman she plucks her eyebrows or endlessly fixes her hair when she gets anxious. hugs to all those who go thru depression. it takes a lot of effort dealing with them but if you really care for them, please go thru it with them.

  19. kayo please stop bashing celebrities. they are human too. they go thru pain and all. stop stop.

  22. I can’t stand these harsh comments on Pia. Kindness is free. Why can’t we just be kind to celebrities too? Even if you don’t like some celebrities, why do you have to be mean to them?
