    4. And to think na engineer sya.. may construction bond di ba na 15 years kapag nagpagawa ka ng Bahay... (Correct me if I'm wrong) magiisip-isip ako na magpagawa sa kanya..

    5. As far as I know their house na ginawa ni Slater is very ok pa after the bagyo. Parents house niya yung May slight damage.

Older structures follow the old Building Code while good quality new builds are built with a strong typhoon in mind.

  14. Our building codes needs to be adjusted ASAP.

When we were building our house more than 10 years ago mas tinaasan ng architect yung standard ng house na pinapagawa namin kasi he already noticed na nagigng malalakas na yung mga bagyo compared to before kung san naka-base ang building code natin. Our contractor then who was a certified civil engineer kept complaining na-"over design" daw yung house namin hindi naman yun building at di naman yun ang required sa building code.

Our architect then projected for the winds na less than 400kph but mga 300+kph ang inisip nyang mga darating na bagyo. If what Slater and Kryz said na tancha nila 400kph ang max winds nung bagyo then we badly need to adjust our building codes now to have sturdier homes fit for stronger typhoons and quakes.

Tama din na people should stop patronizing the substandard materials available in our neighborhood hardwares na mostly smuggled from China.

Para maintindihan mo: They are using their platform to let people know the extent of odette’s impact. Ang mga kapwa nilang mayaman na taga manila or ibang lugar, mas maiintindihan ang nangyari at maeencourage na tumulong (di mo naisip yun no? Kasi nga, slow ka).

Also, porket mayaman di na pwedeng maapektohan ng bagyo? Di na sila pwedeng mag air ng fears and worries nila?

  19. Kahit saang anggulo tignan, mahirap talaga solusyunan to. Marami ang nangangailangan ng tulong, pantay lahat pero hindi sa pang-aano.. i think pagtuunan hanapan ng shelter ang mga biktima sa Mindanao ASAP at lahat ng madadaan ng LPA na tatama before pasko. that is like 2 more days max. Isolated areas like Dinagat and Siargao are at risk. To each his own, yes.. pero risk assessment din, if di pagtutuunan ang prone to another disaster, more lives will be lost.

  20. In fairness sa Skypod, very minimal ang damage which can attest to the engineering and materials used. Golden ammunition sana yun sa detractors ni Slater na hindi nawidthstand ng liteblock, but their house fared insanely well compared sa other concrete houses... partida na glass house pa. I'm impressed
