Grabe mga pinagdaanan sa buhay ni jennylyn yet after all that she still remained as a loving person. Kaya naman grabe din ang blessings! Excited for their beautiful baby.
Actually! Kaya kahit ung kapatid nila Patrick, di ko pinapanood mgavlogs kc nasusuya ako sa ugale nya in real life. Prang di legit na mabait/m/ Christian living sila
Yes she 30 something.
if you've watched the vlog, they mentioned they chose the surrogacy kasi both of them marami silang projects at pag nagbuntis at manganak matagal yon para makabalik. But God really works in mysterious ways and yung will talga nya ang masusunod, so happy for both of them watch the vlog of Jen nakaka inspire at heartwarming
So parang 3 years in the making ang baby. It isn't totally unexpected or biglaan. They really wanted to have a child na 3 years ago pa. Ang hirap din ng pinagdaanan ni Jen.
Oh my. I thought it was legal all along.
Kailangan mag present ng marriage certificate to confirm na kasal na sila for 5(?) years and up.
Ayaw nya talaga gawin overseas kaso tinanggihan sya ng mga doctor dito kasi single sya at ang plano nya is to raise the child as a single parent.
Jen said na mag surrogate sila dahil ayaw na niya mag carry ng 9 months at mag work na lang daw siya. This is a bit insensitive to broadcast at ivlog lalo na many couples are suffering to infertility or miscarriages and will take time or baka di na ma afford ang ivf and immune treatments. Willing sila gumastos ng $100,000 and malamang to choose the gender pa na baby girl. Many celebrities do this, but do not need to overshare. But God has other plan.
This is their journey. Nkakahappy nga tong shinare nila na ito. Very raw, genuine and di sila pretentious.
Hirap daw kasi sya magbuntis. Like now she's pregnant, complete bed rest sya. Risky ata sa situation niya. Kaya siguro kinonsider nila ang surrogacy. I don't find it insensitive. I can no longer have a child and cannot afford treatments but that doesn't mean its anybodys fault I am in this situation. Anyway, hindi rin naman natuloy plano nila for surrogacy and shr continue to carry the baby. Ang bad siguro is if ipaabort niya and go on with surrogacy.
Kaya we make our own support group. Excited sana ako panoorin, but their reasoning brought back the hurt. The PTSD of that journey.
This is their story. Walang insensitive don dahil they only shared their story without meaning harm to others. Kung may na offend because they shared their story, that person needs to seek therapy.
At first yun yung plano at reason nila 3yrs ago.
Actually you took what they said out of context, not once did they say they chose surrogacy because ‘ayaw na nya mag carry ng 9 months’ What she actually said was, when they froze her eggs in 2018 hindi pa sya READY during that time na mag carry ng baby for 9 months. If you watch the whole video, you can see the struggle jen went through for months para lang ‘makabuo’ it’s actually a very informative video for those who are interested in the procedure.
Why expect the same journey you had?
Maraming reason why surrogacy is taken, but admittedly, those going through this have the money to burn. In her case, she had projects and work and could not afford a 9mo down time, lalo na at maselan siyang magbuntis. Not her.
I’m on my fertility journey through IVF… the test is so outrageous both physically and financially. But I don’t give up, I have to take the 5-8% chance of conceiving in God’s time…
Sana magka milagro din at makabuo ulit after 13yrs.
Mahal work up, pa induce, extract and freeze then implant. Lahat ng steps na yan cost a lot and I went through all that after namin makunan except yung freese part kasi implant na agad. Worth it naman and we have our girl na. May friend ako na 2x na went through the whole process and di nag iimpplant yung eggs. Hoping all your baby dreams come true mga sis.
We also tried after 4 years from my last pregnancy. Una, ang hirap, kaka-pressure. Took the fun out of s3x, really. Nabuwiset na ako, nag-"bahala na si God" mode ako, just focused on exercise to relive the stress. Naka-jackpot din kami ng pandemic baby.
Kapit lang, mga sis! I spread my baby dust to you all!
Let's all be thankful for what science can do now when it comes to conceiving a child. However, I also hope that as a country we could all be accepting and open to adoption as another option for having a child. I don't know why but para bang "taboo" sa atin ang mag-adopt and even to admit that a person is adopted and that it's something to be kept as a secret not only to the child but also to the people outside the family. At the end of the day a child whether blood related or not will love you and respect you for as long as you love them, nurture them and raise them well. And I'm saying this because I have family members who are adopted and not once did we ever treat them as outsiders.
I have several friends with adopted family members and sobrang ok naman sila. Mga teleserye lang nagpa taboo sa adoption. Sana din they raise more awareness on the process kasi a lot of kids need love and a loving home.
I have an aunt who has an adopted son. They were TTC for over 15 yrs pero talagang wala kaya nagdecide sila to adopt. My cousin was introduced to his bio family whe he was 3 or 4 yrs old (he's 20 yrs old now), and very close sya sa mga biological siblings nya. It was never a 'taboo' topic in our family, like you.
I guess ang dapat is ayusin ang legal adoption process dito sa Pilipinas. I don't think we have that here?
I agree. I have a cousin na inadopt ng aunt/uncle ko. And we love her dearly. Can't imagine our life without her. Sana more awareness tlga on this topic
My boyfriend is an adopted child but i never felt like he's adopted tulad ng mga pinapakita sa teleserye. It just feels like we have 2 loving families :)
1:05 sobrang informative ng post nilang to. Obvioulsy, you missed their point. Knowing how private and lowkey this couple is, nkakasurprise they shared this journey to the public. Hats off.
bakit? kaya nga sila artista e nature of work nila yan, wag ka manuod hindi ka kawalan, marunong ka din dapat dumiskarte sa buhay hindi puro abang sa ayuda
Grabe mga pinagdaanan sa buhay ni jennylyn yet after all that she still remained as a loving person. Kaya naman grabe din ang blessings! Excited for their beautiful baby.
ReplyDeleteTrue
DeleteTrue no. Minaliit pa sya ng pamilya ni Patrick. Grabe di tlaga ako makamove on sa ganyang mga tao. Nakakasuka ang ugali.
DeleteActually! Kaya kahit ung kapatid nila Patrick, di ko pinapanood mgavlogs kc nasusuya ako sa ugale nya in real life.
DeleteJen is literally ang figuratively ultimate survivor
ReplyDeleteIsn't she in her 30s? Or it's a choice because it's difficult or risky for her to labor?
ReplyDeleteYes she 30 something. Galing. Congrats.
DeleteNaalala ko dati nung buntis pa c Jen kay Jazz at may interview sya, she looked so fragile. Baka hirap din magconceive.
Delete1:15am.
Deleteif you've watched the vlog, they mentioned they chose the surrogacy kasi both of them marami silang projects at pag nagbuntis at manganak matagal yon para makabalik.

Yup. Pati sa UK which is a progressive country di sya legal.

DeletePay may pera talaga , wayang imposible

DeleteThat's their fertility journey ang walang masama sa ginawa nila to try to conceive and to share it. Di nila kasalanan na may sensitive sa ganyan.
DeleteI think what Jen is trying to say is, yung body dw nya d pa ready, d kc lahat mabilis mabuntis
DeleteActually you took what they said out of context, not once did they say they chose surrogacy because ‘ayaw na nya mag carry ng 9 months’ What she actually said was, when they froze her eggs in 2018 hindi pa sya READY during that time na mag carry ng baby for 9 months.
